Malaysia Tours for Solo Travelers
Solo travelers find real connections on our Sabah tours, where the small group setup naturally brings people together. The journey starts in Kota Kinabalu, where sharing street food and market visits helps everyone bond quickly. Mount Kinabalu's climb creates lasting friendships - travelers help each other reach the top and share that summit feeling. The Kinabatangan River boat trips give plenty to talk about, especially when you spot orangutans or pygmy elephants together. Our solo guests particularly value having local experts handle logistics while still keeping their independence and also mixing guided activities with personal time.

What people love about touring Malaysia solo
- Borneo – East Sabah Adventure
My only issues with the tour were the following: 1. Some of the accommodation was a bit lacking and better options were available eg. our stay in Sepilok 2. I felt some of the days could have included more eg. in Sepilok it would have been nicer to spend more time at the orang-utan rehabilitation centre, a large potion of our time was spent watching a video, and having lunch. Also day 7 of the itinerary included practically nothing at all, and we spent multiple hours in the airport because we weren't allowed to keep our transport. Something more could be included on this day.
