Central America IntroThe itinerary is great, I felt we spent the right amount of days at each place. Taking into consideration that the hotels were meant to be basic, I found some of them to be better than I expected. Transportation was varied between large/small mini-buses and public bus. They were all comfortable and travel time was no longer than 4-5 hours between destinations. Our guide Jorge was amazing. He had a vast amount of knowledge about every destination and was very informative on the optional activities. He's a very experienced guide and knows people in each of the destinations so I feel he was able to recommend the best experiences at the best prices. He was determined to make sure we enjoyed our trip and was even flexible with the itinerary making it possible for us to take a 2-day hike to volcano Acatenango. He is very organized and was very engaged with every member of our group. He arranged evening group meetings to inform us of travel plans before going to another destination and joined us for dinner every day. I'd definitely recommend this tour.
18 to 35s Real Central AmericaFlawless execution. The best Group LEADER ever. Kevin! At times we had road closures and other issues .... they added to the experience. Hotels excellent. Transportation phenomenal. A great way to see a few countries. Some busy l o n g days, however sufficient free time. If you go ... you will understand coffee, you will understand chocolate and return with memories. Great memories. Totally safe - even for solo females .... yes .... 4 solo females were on this trip, I am from CANada, mid 60's, male. Highly recommend this tour. I have been to over 100 countries .... so, I have seen a few things. If you book - book with Kevin Rico. He, thru the tour operator does the tour both ways .... it is a loop. Disclosure - not a chance do I get 1 cent to say this. My opinion, my experience.
