Budget Tours & Trips to Israel And Jordan Reviews
- Unforgettable Jordan
The tour allowed us to get to know the main places in Jordan and have a complete vision of the country. To get to Lot's Cave, the guide suggested doing it with a car, but when getting off it, we had to climb more than 200 steps on foot, of which the guide did not know because he had never been there and it is an important fact to mention for those with reduced mobility. In Betania we spent more than 40 minutes in a souvenir shop but later on the Jordan River the guide said that we didn't have time to see the Orthodox church. We were able to enter at the insistence of the group. We were not told that we could dive into the Jordan River to bring towels and change clothes, other tourists did. The visit to Jerash was very interesting and surprising for the conservation of the ruins. In the Wadi Rum camp it would have been enough to prepare a handbag. This would have avoided loading and unloading the suitcases of all passengers, speeding up the transfer. The camel ride was 45 minutes according to the itinerary but only of 15 according to the guide. Given the claim of several passengers with the agency, it was carried out as indicated. In the Dead Sea, a brief explanation of how to apply the mud to take advantage of its properties would have been good. Excellent Holiday Inn hotel on the Dead Sea.

Guys just book this go you will absolutely love it. The guide was better than you could ever hope for. The tour was great we saw and learned so much more than they can fit in the description. Food ranged from good to great. Hotels were great except I’d recommend you upgrade your nights in Tel Aviv. Also recommend staying for an extra day or two in the city at the end to explore. The whole trip was beyond expectations and we return home feeling very thankful.

Too much in so little time. 1st guide struggled to keep the group organized and if was difficult to hear and keep up. The last guide in Jordan couldn't separate his faith with his job and prevented him from presenting the history of the area. We had a great time,
What our customers ask about Budget Tours & Trips to Israel and Jordan
What type of accommodation can I expect on budget tours in Israel and Jordan?
Budget tours provide accommodations ranging from basic 3-star hotels to local guesthouses. In Tel Aviv travelers stay at places like the Seanet Hotel while Jerusalem offers options such as the Prima Park Hotel. A unique experience awaits in Jordan at traditional Bedouin camps in Wadi Rum where guests sleep under desert stars. One TourRadar traveler noted: "The accommodations exceeded my expectation though some hotels like Seanet in Tel Aviv were quite basic."
When is the most affordable time to visit Israel and Jordan?
The best deals appear from November through February except during the holiday season. Winter brings significant savings with Dead Sea hotels lowering rates and Jerusalem properties offering up to 30% off regular prices. Peak season runs June through August when prices climb considerably. A TourRadar traveler shared: "I visited in February and found great deals on both tours and hotels though some days were quite cool."
Which areas in Israel and Jordan are most budget-friendly for accommodation?
Better rates appear in smaller Israeli cities like Tiberias at properties such as the Prima Galil Hotel. In Jordan Amman offers wallet-friendly options including the Liwan Hotel. Staying away from prime locations like Tel Aviv's beach strip or Jerusalem's Old City helps reduce costs. As one TourRadar traveler noted: "Staying slightly outside city centers saved money without compromising the experience."
How much should I budget for local transportation when not with the tour group?
Daily transportation costs run about 20-30 USD. Tel Aviv's bus system charges around 1.50 USD per ride while taxis start at 15 USD. In Jordan intercity buses cost between 5-10 USD. A TourRadar reviewer shared: "Public transportation in both countries was reliable and much cheaper than taxis."
What entrance fees should I budget for at major attractions?
Set aside 120-150 USD for main site entries. Key attractions come with separate fees: Masada costs 23 USD Petra charges 70 USD for a day visit and Jerusalem's Western Wall Tunnels require 15 USD. A TourRadar reviewer mentioned: "The Petra entrance fee was expensive but absolutely worth it - just make sure to budget for it if it's not included in your tour."
What additional costs should I be prepared for at border crossings?
Border crossings between Israel and Jordan require 60-130 USD in cash for visa fees and taxes. These costs often fall outside standard tour packages. As one TourRadar traveler mentioned: "Border taxes & Visa for Israel/Jordan border crossing (total USD 130 per person to be paid on day of tour) - this was not included in the original tour price."
