Food & Wine Tours & Trips in Scotland

Loved the tour. Our guide Graham with his knowledge of the history of Scotland and understanding of the Gaelic language was outstanding. Plenty of breaks and stops on the bus, which made it not seem like a long journey. The distillery tours and tastings were fantastic. Learned a lot about whiskey tasting and enjoyment. This was the highlight of our trip to Scotland.

I had four awesome days with Scottish Routes in speyside. The group was nice, the guide really good and patient. He drove us safely though it rained heavily for most of the time. If I would have been driving there, I would probably have suffered from a nervous breakdown after 2 hours. But Nick was totally cool. We visited so many distilleries, had very interesting tasting with a lot of variation (blind tasting at Aberlour, old cask from closed down distilleries at Royal Lochnagar, which we could choose, special and very rare bottles at Glenfarclas, and so on and on). It was not cheap, but worth every penny. The Haus Alba B&B was the best place I ever stayed on vacation. The weather could have been better, but that is not on Scottish Routes ;-)

We enjoyed our driver, Ross who was very knowledgeable and a great driver. The pace was quick and we got to experience many stops each day. Booking was easy and the communication between us was great. We did have a hiccup when weather cancelled part of our tour. Because of the early time communication was tricky. But we spent the time touring Edinburgh. I can’t wait to book another trip!
