The highlights of our trip were undoubtedly the amazing tour guides, particularly those in Cairo, whose knowledge, professionalism, and enthusiasm brought Egypt’s fascinating history to life. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable and enjoyable experience. The itinerary covered many of Egypt’s iconic sights, and we appreciated how well organised the Cairo portion of the tour was. Communication was clear, schedules were well managed, and everything ran smoothly. There are, however, a few areas where improvements could be made. Firstly, more complimentary drinking water should be supplied to guests, especially given Egypt’s extreme temperatures. Staying hydrated is essential, and additional water provisions would greatly enhance guest comfort. Secondly, we noticed a disconnect in communication between the teams in Cairo and those in Aswan and Luxor. The timing of activities and schedules often differed from what we had been advised, creating some confusion and uncertainty. Better coordination and more consistent communication between locations would help ensure a smoother experience for travellers. That said, despite the communication issues in Aswan and Luxor, the enthusiasm, passion, and knowledge demonstrated by our guide were excellent. His dedication to sharing Egypt’s rich history and culture was evident throughout the tour and greatly enhanced our experience. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our Egyptian adventure and would like to thank the guides and staff who worked hard to make our journey special.
