About me:Hey guys, I'm Dan, I'm 22 years old from Essex, UK. I started as a group leader for intro travel in February 2017 and so far loving every minute of it! Meeting new people and sharing travel experiences is something I love doing. I have been travelling since I was 19, travelling places like Thailand, Australia and Indonesia. it's the best thing I have ever done for myself and love help making it the best thing other people have done too. A big thank you to both Dan and the team at intro for creating such a well planned and organised trip. Hotels we stayed in were always clean with good facilities. Activities were all included and fantastic quality and led by amazing and knowledgeable local tour guides. Even down to the elephant sanctuary we visited which is one of the most ethical in Thailand. I have learnt so much and made such amazing memories. I wish I would do this trip 100x over.

Dan has been great at keeping the whole group involved, he is a fantastic dj for the car journeys and has dealt with relentless questions well (even the ridiculous ones). Mainly gives good recommendations for meals in the restaurants but does struggle to give accurate timings for journeys although I think he was thrown off by the end of Ramadan affecting traffic and the supply of gin. Overall excellent trip, wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

You get to see some of the best places on Bali and do some things you would never do on your own, whilst having the best time with your group. Dan was way more than just a tour guide, always joking, dancing and making sure that everyone had a wonderful time.
The accommodation was way better than what I’d expected, especially in Lovina and Ubud, and in general the whole trip was good value for money.

I’m a 20 y/o danish girl on a trip with over 15 English speaking persons. I was so nervous before I came here, but it has been so good, and people included Dan and Victoria have been taking good care of me even though I’m danish and can struggle with the language from time to time.

Dan was a natural, it never felt like he was a guide more of just another friend you’d met whilst travelling, always the first on the dance floor, taking and giving a lot of jokes.

I've done a few group tours in the past, but this was my first time with Intro Travel and I was very impressed. There were enough activities to keep you busy without being non-stop, and the accommodation was of an excellent standard, especially the private villa in Lovina, and the hotel in Ubud. Our tour guide, Dan, was excellent and one of the best tour guides I have had on a group tour. He was incredibly helpful, even carrying my bags all the way from the ferry to the hotel on Gili T when I was unable to due to 3rd degree sunburn. He was always positive, and took our group's constant sarcasm and abuse very well, and was always up for a laugh. He dealt with some of the more challenging personalities (I'd probably include myself in that) really well, and always made sure everyone was enjoying themselves. I can't fault him, really. The only slight negative I would suggest is that the transport was pretty small and not air-conditioned, but you can't expect luxury coaches on Bali, I guess! Overall, I'd definitely recommend this tour, and if I wasn't apparently allergic to the sun, I'd be happy to travel with Intro again. Perhaps if they bring in some cooler, less humid destinations, I will have that opportunity.

Intro Bali was an unexpected and pleasant surprise. So much was included on the tour compared to other tours that I had done which I found very refreshing. The accomodation was at a high standard and although the transport was a little cramped on occasion, it was clean and safe. I couldn’t have asked more from Dan our tour guide, he was the perfect mix between professional and friendly, nothing was a issue for him and he made the trip into a very relaxed and enjoyable holiday. If you want to go to Bail, this is the way to do it.

When I got to the airport, all my fears disappeared when I was greeted with a hug from my leader Dan Doy. During the tour I was treated to amazing beaches, temples, wildlife and amazing people. Now that it’s over all I want to do is every other tour Intro Travel has to offer. I will be forever grateful for this experience and it is something I will never ever forget.
The guide is really good, he knows all details about the trip which is pretty cool. The hotels were amazing and the restaurants that I’ve been have good foods and drinks.

I think they could decrease the number of visits in temples for other diferent places, at least one of the days. Instead of 2 days in temples, just one.
The group is friendly including the staff.
As I’ve booked 12 days, I couldn’t go to Noosa Penida that I’ve heard being a good place. Maybe the 18 tour days is possible to visit it, because it’s really far away from the places that we’ve been.

From visiting various temples to exploring the monkey forest and visiting a family in the north of Bali. The trip wouldn’t have been the same without our amazing tour guides, Dan and Morgan! The provided constant entertainment throughout the trip and were very helpful with any queries or concerns anyone would have during the trip. Any tour group would be lucky to have them. The food and accommodation were also great; my personal highlight was the fantastic private villa in Lovina. As a whole the trip was exceptional value for money and a fantastic adventure which met my expectations and much more!

We had an awesome time as a group and have even had a reunion on London since. We had an incredible bond with each other I never once felt lonely.
Our guide Dan was awesome. Really professional; Always looking after us but also joining in on all the fun making it feel less like a tour but more like a holiday with friends.
We had so many laughs and memories made which I will truly never forget and a lot of them are down to Dan because If I went and did it solo and didn’t have dan showing us or helping us with onward travel I would of been screwed.
Couldn’t of asked for a better guide on the beat trip. I would defo do it again.

If you get the chance to go diving do it!! I was so scared to donit as I'm afraid of water but the team there was amazing!! 100% recomend it. You also get to go snorkeling and see some amazing things huge turtles and many colorful fish etc. Not going to spoil anymore all in all amazing trip!!! Our trip leader Dan Doy was really great as well!! He was very nice and very helpful with onward travel.

I had two great group leaders for the majority of my trip: Alissa and Dan. They both felt like friends with lots of helpful advice and plenty of laughs. Dan was very approachable and forever had us laughing and Alissa was honestly amazing at settling any nerves and always there for that extra bit of encouragement and support when it was needed most (particularly climbing the volcano). The accommodation we stayed in throughout our trip was so much better than I ever thought it’d be and the private villa was something else! (Amazing!) Transport was made great by a fab group. We had plenty of music and things to talk about, as well as getting educated by our group leaders; particularly Alissa who knows so much about Indonesian and Balinese culture. We came to Bali in rainy season and despite one really wet day, the weather was honestly amazing; and as for the sunrises and sunsets - let’s just say they really are worth it! All the trips were amazing and it was nice to have a local guide for a lot of them. You could really tell they were passionate about their job; particularly when touring the Temples. Our afternoon at the Home Stay was incredible; it really felt like we were mixing with the local community and I had the best Indonesian food I’ve ever eaten there. However I think my favourite has to be snorkelling - considering I’d never snorkelled properly before, Alissa soon helped me in being able to do it properly and it was honestly one of the best experiences of my life thus far.

Both of our leaders bought separate energies to the group and bounced off each other so that we had the fullest experience. All in all I enjoyed everything about this trip and am so glad I chose to do it, even by myself. I was sharing rooms with different people each time which was lovely and I was able to get to know people better; also the group leaders look out and listen to what will make your trip better for you. For the price we paid I feel like we got a great deal on seeing some of The most amazing things! I got one of the best experiences I have ever chosen to do purely because our guides were so knowledgable and really paid attention to details and could answer almost all of the questions I had to answer! We've seen some amazing things and been to some amazing places, Koh sok was an absolute highlight - another half a day there would have been good! It's been the perfect balance of travel, chill and party. For an intro tour, it's been perfect. If I hadn't been to Vietnam and wasn't going to Bali, I'd book on straight away. Loved every minute!

Dan Doy (Loy) our group leader was excellent, offering advice and hints along the way, he is a genuine great guy, resulting in the tour running smoothly. Felt really safe and the whole programme was very efficient in terms of travel and accommodation (this was our first trip alone in Asia). Everyone on the trip was really friendly and up for everything, couldn't recommend enough, can't wait to get back out here. Would advise trying to get the trip to coincide with a full moon or half moon party as it just adds to the experience. Just to note, not all meals are included.

The minute he welcomed us he was super talkative the whole cab ride from Bangkok's airport, answering all our questions and made us comfortable. The first night the whole group was together we were brought to the sky bar where we had the opportunity to meet everyone. Quickly our group became super close, especially with the Dan and Chris. They both made sure no one felt left out. Our first day in Bangkok, Dan held a meeting informing the group of what we will be doing during our time in Bangkok and helped direct us during our free time of places to go and things to do and of course invites us along even during his free time. The day at the Buddhist temples were spectacular and we truly felt immersed into the culture. We were able to practice traditional Buddhist prayers and traditions in a local temple then moved on to tour the largest temple in Bangkok where we had our own private tour. We then went on that night to party on Koh sok road, where we had the most delicious buckets of our drink of choice. We then went on together as a group to "The club" which at first we were not feeling because of he music but once our group started dancing and the music was pumping we were extremely grateful for the air conditioning that wa s blasting in the club. Both Dan and Chris made sure our whole group got home safely in order to enjoy the traditional Thai cooking class the day which helped cure many of the hangovers we were feeling. We enjoyed some singing and some of the most delicious food, which we were able to cook ourselves and were able to keep the recipes to bring back to our homes. The roughest part of our journey was the overnight train. As someone who has never traveled like that before we were definitely wary however Dan did check on us constantly to make sure we were comfortable. The next day we arrived in KoH Sok which was absolutely breathtaking. There our group spent time swimming in the beautiful water and floating in tubes. Even the rain did not stop us from having a good time, our group played flip cup when it would rain and even with the rain we were constantly swimming. Finally on our last stop along the tour we stayed at the Sarana Beachside bungalows, in Koh Phangan. By the time we were here, our group became like family with Dan acting as our patriarch, we became super tight knit, between all the inside jokes and laughs. Here we enjoyed snorkeling, the picturesque beach, the waterfall, and the famous full moon beach party, even though it was not a full moon. I have had the most amazing experience traveling with these people and Dan. We felt totally safe, with Dan. He showed true maturity and leadership beyond his young age however remained fun sweet and lighthearted the whole time. I would totally recommend this experience for anyone who seeks adventure in their lives, truly and enriching experience that I will never forget!

Our co-leader Chris in Bangkok was also a wonderful addition who helped make sure everyone was accounted for and got home safely. I strongly recommend Thaintro for anyone who is interested in exploring Thailand but without the hassle of having to plan all the details yourself. Everyday we gained a new amazing memory that is definitely a once in a lifetime moment, we visited temples, snorkelled, had a night out in Bangkok (hangover part 4 for me the morning after) stayed in floating bungalows in a rainforest where we had no signal which was surprisingly incredible to have a day away from social media and be in a dream world. Our group leader 'Dan' was absolutely amazing, he was not only a book of knowledge and answered every question you had but he soon became a friend in our new little family, his sense of humour and generally being high spirited and bubbly made the experience 100% better. I highly recommend to anyone who has ever wanted to travel, this was my first holiday without a parent and I was so nervous but I was soon made to feel welcome and safe.

I was even blessed by a monk in a buddhist temple! The beach side bungalows and floating bungalows are especially beautiful, and our tour guide Dan was amazing. We had so much fun with him, couldn't have asked for a better guide!

I thought the tour was really great! As a solo traveller, it is a great way to get you started in Thailand and to meet other people who you can then go and travel on with afterwards. As a solo traveller, it is a great way to get you started in Thailand and to meet other people who you can then go and travel on with afterwards. The accomodation that you stay in is amazing, particularly the floating bungalows in Koh Saok and Sarana bungalows in Koh Phangan. The activities are also really fun - the cooking class in Bangkok is great and so is the elephant trekking in Koh Phangan. I would definitely really recommend this tour but do note that not all meals are included so bring extra spending money and also try and have spare time afterwards to travel afterwards so you can do the north of Thailand e.g. Chiang Mai etc.

At first I was really nervous about coming on this trip as I was travelling alone, but as soon as I arrived at the first accommodation in Bangkok which was wild orchid villas I felt at ease. I was gre…At first I was really nervous about coming on this trip as I was travelling alone, but as soon as I arrived at the first accommodation in Bangkok which was wild orchid villas I felt at ease. I was greeted by Dan the tour Leader and he showed me to my room. I met a few of the other people who were on the trip on Koh San Road and we had some cocktails together. The next day we went on a river cruise and visited some temples and got a real feel of how Monks live and Thai life. The day after we had an over night train down south to go to Koh Sak National Park, this was an experience but so much fun as it was like one big sleepover. When we arrived at Koh Sak the scenery was absolutely beautiful, there was no wifi, no electricity but it was so much fun and it was just so tranquil and relaxing. We spent the day getting drunk and playing games and telling stories. The next few days we would head to Koh Phangan which is the nicest small town, where we stayed in serana bungalows which were absolutely lush and right on the beach. The elephant experience was the most amazing time of my life where we got to feed elephants and wash them. All in all this was the most amazing expierence of my life and I would highly recommend it and do it again.

The group was great and everyone got along really well! When meeting people in hostels you often end up parting ways after a while because everyone has different plans - on Thaintro everyone is doing the tour together meaning people get really close and you make good friends! I did expect there to be more meals included but food in Thailand is very cheap so it wasn't really an issue! So yeah, pretty cool all in all

It is also really well organised with there being a clear plan for every day that everyone knew and was easy to follow. It is also really relaxing with people being able to lie in in the mornings and have time throughout the day to just chill and do what you want. Our guide had also been incredible, not only was he very organised, but he was also really good fun to talk to, and was really helpful sorting out our further travels and giving us advice on what we should do and where we should go.

My favourite location was Koh soak closely followed by our day out snorkelling/at the beach in Koh Phangan. Our tour guide Dan has been absolutely great - I've done a lot of group tours including multi-day tours and he has been my favourite guide so far. I highly recommend this tour for anyone interested in visiting Thailand.

I truly expected better accomodation for the money we paid,most of them did have no air condition or it did not work. The location of the bungalows on Koh Phangan was nice,but the bungalows themselves were dreadful.
They did not change the sheets once,so you had to lay down in the sweaty sheets again and again.
I think on other tours they offer more and longer activities. Most of them did only last 1-2 hours per day. I think the tour was much to expensive for what we got,as accomodation and transport is quite cheap in Thailand.
They also overbooked the tour,37 people is way to much,not even the tourguides were able ( or wanted) to talk to everybody sufficiently.
I would totally not recommend the tour to people who just want to relax from work or learn about the culture.
As it's all about bucket drinking it did not feel like Thailand,it rather felt like Magaluf or Newcastle.

Even things like travelling on an overnight train which probably would have been pretty stressful for a foreigner in a new country were made really simple and gave you the opportunity to embrace it. Definitely a good experience for solo fun loving travellers, the party didn't really seem to stop! I came as part of a group for a fairly relaxed holiday so it was a bit much but all in all I'm glad I took part. The elephant experience and the floating bungalows in particular were fantastic. I've now got more ideas of what to do with the rest of my holiday.

The activities were fun the travel was easy and the accomodation was ok. The rooms needed air con based on the time of year we visited. I would have preferred if everyone wore some sort of name badge at least for the first day or so... In a group of 35 it is really hard to remember everyone's names and gets slightly embarrassing asking as the trip goes on
The tour guides have been very friendly and organised throughout the tour, always available to ask questions. The tour has been great with loads of fun activities.

In kürzester Zeit haben wir viel von Thailand sehen können ohne viel Stress. Die Tourguides waren sehr freundlich und haben uns mit unseren weiteren Reiseplanungen sehr unterstützt. Auch die Unterkünfte waren in Ordnung, jedoch hätte ich mir eine Klimaanlage gewünscht, da wir immer sehr hohe Temperaturen hatten und die Räume in der ganzen Zeit nicht ein einziges Mal mit der Klimaanlage ausgestattet waren. Auch würde ich mir wünschen, dass die Gruppe nicht so groß ist. Mit mehr als fünfunddreißig Leuten verschwendet man viel Zeit durch warten, da die Gruppe immer durch zwei geteilt wurde. Das Beste an der Tour war der Besuch bei den Elefanten und das schnorcheln auf der Insel koh Phangan. Alles im allem ist die Tour weiter zu empfehlen, wenn man seine Reise gerne schon organisiert hätte, da man sich so keine Sorge um die Organisation machen muss. Da Asien jedoch sehr günstig ist und wir nun nicht in den besten Hotels geschlafen haben kann es günstiger sein auf eigene Faust oder mit einer anderen Gesellschaft zu reisen.

The elephant experience was amazing: we got to meet two older elephants and took a little walk with them, fed them and had a water fight. this trip was the best thing ever and I couldn't have imagined it to be any better.

accomodation throughout has been amazing, as I was expecting us to stay in hostels, the wild orchard had beautiful rooms, maybe lacking a bit in the bathroom department, I really enjoyed the night train, and Sarana bungalows have been beautiful and very accomodating.
Khao Sok bungalows have been my favourite part of the trip as the scenery was beautiful we had a fun time and its an experience I will never forget.

I en…I did the Thai intro with dan and josh as my tour leaders. I've had a fab 9 days of pure fun and banter. Our leaders are very knowledgable about Thailand and very informative about onward travel. I enjoyed having a holiday and not having to stress about arrangements as it's all taking care of. The accomodation has been amazing in all locations. The day by the lake wAs memorable and seeing the elephants has been an amazing experience. The group I was with were all friendly and I felt very included. Definitely going to be booking up the other intros intro travel have to offer.

Always made me feel so welcomed and made me feel included in everything even when I felt low they alway made me feel better and still made sure I was included in all the activities. This is due to the places the tour takes you and how funfilled they made it. Dan and josh were both very approachable and friendly and there communication skills and knowledge are second to none. Can't recommend this tour enough.

Had an amazing trip in Thailand with introtravel! Exceeded my expectations and I would definetly recommend it. The tour guide Dan was so helpful and made the trip more enjoyable.
I had a fantastic trip on Thaintro with Dan, he met me at the airport and was easy to find with his prior instructions in an email. Dan proved to be really knowledgeable as he showed us round this gorgeous country and was as much of a friend as he was a guide. I would happily recommend this trip to any solo travel as I felt completely safe and looked after the whole time while still having independence to do my own thing. Dan and Adam helped me in arranging my onward travel and organised a open water dive course for me too which was very helpful.
