Mekong River Experience – Siem Reap to Ho Chi Minh City
Our overall experience was exceptional, however we were disappointed of the late notice of a tour itinerary change. The start of the tour was changed from Siem Reap which nessactated a 6 hour bus trip…Our overall experience was exceptional, however we were disappointed of the late notice of a tour itinerary change. The start of the tour was changed from Siem Reap which nessactated a 6 hour bus trip to the boat. I completely understand things change and itineraries need to be changed and this was mentioned in the out line Itinerary we received after booking. I am disappointed in tour radar however as 1) other members of the tour who booked direct were apparently notified at the time of booking. 2) it appears that the tour has not started from the advertised start point for a number of months Proir to us booking. As such I feel like we were sold something that in reality was not available at the time of booking and was a know issue with g adventures, but not communicated to us until a few weeks Proir to out departure.
As always with Gadventures it is all about local experiences and I was not disappointed. Seeing the countries with the eyes of local people, eating in small familial restaurants, homestay in a small village in Laos but also enjoying time with fellow travellers.
Great itinerary, great CEO (local guide) with great knowledge and caring that each traveller has the best time during the tour! A lot of laugh, a lot of memories that I will keep for a lifetime!!
Once again I was more than happy with my tour and I will travel again with Gadventures without any doubt.

Bun has been the best CEO to our group. He has a lot of knowledge, made the best recommodations for food or sightseeing and he has always a smile on his face. He made this trip special to us! Bun was the Heart of this Tour.

I could not have asked for a better group and a better guide. It was a good mix of organised activities and having free time. The tour was not too rushed and the two days spent sailing the Mekong River through Laos was a definite highlight. Bun was a wonderful guide-very friendly, knowledgeable and always willing to help. He had such enthusiasm for all the places we visited and really made the holiday extra memorable.

What a great tour! Probably one of the best I did so far with Gadventures. The places we saw and stayed were amazing. The old city of HoiAn with all these beautiful colourful lanterns, the amazing food and the cooking class from Planeterra foundation were for such a highlight of my tour. The motorbike tour in Hue was such a great fun and the best way to see the countryside!
Our guide Bun was just the best! He made us feel like we were a family. Always smiling and doing all he could to make her tour the best! He gave us a lot of information and facts about Vietnam and Cambodia included a lot of political stories which was great! He took us for dinner in a local restaurant in Phnom Pen where we were the only tourists surrounded by locals. The food was just amazing and I am so glad that he shared with us his Cambodia!

The tour guide was full of energy, the staff couldn't do enough, learning our names overnight and our preferences.
