We had an above-average driver in Paul, who was also good with information (we were mostly able to understand him) and knew how not to overwhelm us w…Very pleasantly surprised by the modern minibuses. We had an above-average driver in Paul, who was also good with information (we were mostly able to understand him) and knew how not to overwhelm us with it but to liven up the whole thing with music that adapted to the landscape or text. He was flexible, helpful and friendly and an enrichment for the trip.
Organization very good. Hotels satisfactory and the route extremely beautiful.
2nd trip
Organization, hotel and route good. Willi, the driver was nice, but spoke far too quickly and too much (at least during the trip) so that we had little of it.

Rabbi’s tours is amazing. I highly recommended them over large bus overland tours. Much more personal and customized.

Our guide, Bruce, was very knowledgeable, considerate, and a wonderful travel partner on our adventure. He handled the narrow mountain roads through northern Scotland with ease. All the little and big towns we explored were fun and full of history.
All the overnight stays were comfortable and just what we needed after a day of exploring.
We would definitely use Rabbies again.

Excellent Tour overall. Michael our guide was excellent and very entertaining and caring. Good party too - all looked after me with my age and mobility problems. Saw and learned much. Accommodation great except the room in Stornaway was very small and located upstairs without steps. Hospitality excellent. Sad that the Callandish Stones could nt be visited although we did see them from afar. But other sites were great and with only one morning only in rain we saw them at their best.

Plus he was very entertaining. The tour itself was good but there was a lot of windshield time between some of the locations. Accommodations were excellent also but if we had to do it again we’d choose the hotel option instead of the B&B’s. The B&B’s were charming and very well kept however we had 3-4 flights of stairs in both to get to our room while the hotels had elevators.

We also enjoyed all the hotels we stayed. Service was great.

We came to Scotland to go to the Open. We decided to make the most of the trip overseas and we rolled the dice and selected the Rabbie's trip to the Highlands and Orkney. We really had no expectations…We came to Scotland to go to the Open. We decided to make the most of the trip overseas and we rolled the dice and selected the Rabbie's trip to the Highlands and Orkney. We really had no expectations but cautiously high hopes. Well Rabbie's really delivered. The whole tour was beyond even our greatest imagination. Billy was a terrific guide. Full of history and insight and more than willing to adapt and adjust to requests along the way. Our tour had to adapt on the fly due to ferry problems and instead of being inconvenient, it led to some of the most amazing parts of the trip. We got to stop at Dunnet Head and see some fantastic views and spotted a few Puffins among the nesting sea birds. Then again we diverted to the Brough of Birsay with the low tide. We climbed up to the lighthouse and stunning views in every direction. We were treated to sea birds fishing and nesting in the cliffs. Puffins twice in one trip. I could go on and on. Billy was a great guide and the whole Rabbie's team clearly love what they do. This was a bucket list trip for me and thanks in large part to this tour, will be something we truly never forget. Cheers!!
