This was my second tour with TruTravels and I couldn't be more happy with it! I was able to explore and do so much more than I expected (I didnt read into detail on the agenda to keep things a surprise) and it's SUCH great value for money. Without TruTravels, I would not of had the same experience going to Indonesia. I don't think I would've booked all the stuff to be able to do things on my own, and it was great meeting new friends and sharing it with them.

This was very different than the last TruTravels experience I had last year and I couldn't be more pleased that I got to experience Indonesia this way. There was a good amount of activities and free time, plus the time being disconnected was great. It really allowed you to be one with nature. I wasn't expecting to see so many animals on this trip (dolphins, manta rays, monkeys, komodos etc), and that made me so happy. My favourite activity was going to the waterfalls (rope swing was so much fun!) and seeing Komodo dragons. Definitely an experience I won't forget and can't wait to share with others back home!

I saw the most beautiful things ever and experienced things ever and experienced things I would have never dreamed of. My personal highlight was the day of Pink Beach. I was kinda scared before we got to the boat for 2.5 days. But this was probably the best thing ever. The crew was super nice and the food was the best I had on the trip. I really enjoyed being in the tightest of space with the other girls. I felt so safe around them and it just made me feel super comfortable that they helped me when I was sick. Especially my group leader, Lish, checked on me and that made me feel much better. Thanks for that Lish!!! If you don't mind to sleep on the floor or not be in a hotel for a couple of days I would highly recommend this trip to you. To speak from personal experience, feels so good to push yourself out of your comfort zone and do things you usually wouldn't do!

Completely different to the first part but would highly recommend to anyone! The highlight of this second part of the trip for me was definitely the Liveaboard boat. Such an incredible experience. The crew were lovely, especially Riski! And the food was amazing. The first night was an experience but was so worth it to wake up and snorkel with manta ray So! This is definitely a highlight, followed by snorkelling at Pink Beach which is a definite must! And to complete the day, the amazing viewpoint. Something I will remember for a long time. Sumbawa and Moyo Island were also a highlight. Amazing and simple place to stay on the beach front and the day trip to Moyo on the back of locals motorbikes was something you don't do every day! The actual tour was incredible and there is not much that I would personally change as it pushed me to do things I would never have done but will definitely last a lifetime. Lastly, Lish was an amazing tour leader, and was so helpful with everything that anyone needed. She definitely made the whole experience better, so thanks. She tried to make everything fun, especially on the boat when everyone was feeling a lot worse for wear. Thanks for everything =)

The tour has been amazing! Everything ran so smoothly and was organized so well, especially for such a large group. Lish has been great, always there when you needed her and the perfect balance of bei…The tour has been amazing! Everything ran so smoothly and was organized so well, especially for such a large group. Lish has been great, always there when you needed her and the perfect balance of being a great friend as well as being in control of everything! The highlights of the trip for me have been the snorkelling in Gili with the turtles, it was so incredible, probably my favourite place in general, such a chilled out island and a great night out =) Also the cooking class, something I would have never done but was such a good experience to be welcomed into their home and cook their food. Hard to pick these out as the whole tour has been great, even the evening activities and dinners which Lish organized were perfect for all of us. Both Lish and Johnny made a huge effort to make sure everyone was constantly OK and enjoying ourselves and we're so sympathetic and understanding to the illnesses we seem to came across =) Can't thank them both enough for everything, the tour wouldn't have been the same!

Lish and Jonny were super friendly and great at interacting as one team and made us all feel super welcome and compatible. I've had so much fun and have been able to push myself out of my comfort zone thanks to the encouragement and support of the leaders. I really enjoyed the surfing and nights out in Canggu and Gili, which have been spectacular. We have really gelled and bonded as a team and it's been lovely to get close with new people and witness us all helping each other out; whether it's downing a drink or helping with an injury. Nothing was too much for Lish and Jonny. They provided recommendations, information and fun. I've really been inspired to travel more based on such a positive experience. I will always remember my first time solo travelling as the best time thanks to this tour.

I have travelled around many countries but this was my first time doing a planned trip and would definitely consider doing so a again in the foreseeable future. Our tour leaders, Lish and Jonny, were friendly and fun to be around and made even the most difficult days (such as the Mount Batur climb!) pleasant. This made time more enjoyable by building strong rapports with both leaders. Thanks to TruTravels, I have made new friends for life! You rock Lish and Jonny!

Where we did the lesson was very good. The surf teachers were really nice and explained it very detailed how to surf. I think of the end of the day I surfed not bad and I think I will never forget it and probably will do it in New Zealand again. The snorkelling tour it was also exciting. The first stop where we stopped at the statues were amazing. Also the second stop with the turtles was also cool. I just saw two turtles, but one swam so nearby me I could have touched her. The third stop was also funny. I think I won't forget this trip.

As a first trip to Asia I have had a great time, there has been a fantastic mix of culture and sun. Lish as a leader was fantastic at all times and feels like a a friend by the end of the tour. Lish as a leader was fantastic at all times and feels like a a friend by the end of the tour. Gili T has been at the high point of the tour for me, the activities and accommodations has really shown how special of a place Gili is. I would also like to say Jonny shadowing on his first tour with Tru was also fantastic, a great personality who will be a great addition to TruTravels. I would like to say a massive thank you to Lish and Jonny for really making this a once in a lifetime experience. I also proposed to my girlfriend on this tour and Lish she was so helpful with all the planning and making sure I didn't have a heart attack.

I thought our tour leader was brilliant and was extremely accommodating. Lish spent the time to get to know everybody in the group and did her upmost to make all feel part of the group, despite some immediate friendships being formed early on. I have had an amazing trip and although challenging at times, a great experience! I feel this trip gives people a great chance to get to know Bali in a short space of time and I appreciate the tour having a mixture of culture, party, active and relaxation built into it. I can't wait to come back one day and explore it more! Lish was an fantastic tour leader - very bubbly and enthusiastic. It is really nice to see someone enjoy her job so much. My favourite activity was surfing. I absolutely loved it! Wish there had been time to do it again! It was also a really good activity to get the group together - there were lots of laughs. My favourite evenings were chilled ones I. Front of the many beautiful sunsets we saw. I loved the sunset side of Gili T, it was much more 'tropical desert island' rather than a party island which was was so relaxing. The snorkelling was also good, but would be nice to go see some coral reefs too.the locals we met were all super friendly and chatty, one even asked to 'buy my smile' which made my day! Everyone here is so happy, it is really lovely. I thought the volcano trek was fantastic, would 100% recommend it! Overall, a fab time, met loads of wonderful funny people - will miss them lots!

I have had an amazing 10 days!!! The range of activities and locations was great! I particularly enjoyed learning to surf and snorkel for the first time, the paddle boarding is my new favourite thing!…I have had an amazing 10 days!!! Canggu, Ubud, and Gili T were a good choice of location - each was different and offered a good range of activities. The rice terraces and volcano trek are must sees, I had the best time on the terrace swing! My biggest regret is not trying the Luwak coffee as it smells incredible! I will be sure to do this on my next trip. Y phone is so full of photos for. The past 10 days and I think the smile on my face throughout says it all really. As a first time traveller this trip has supported and encouraged me to get out there and see more of the world. I have met some incredible people both the locals and fellow tour gang, I have laughed every day since I arrived! Lish was an incredible tour leader! So much fun, her stories always entertained us! I knew I could ask her any question and if I had any issues, she was just on the end of the phone. She had good knowledge of the islands and was enthusiastic about every activity. Jonny also came along on the tour - he was so chilled and fun - I think he will be a fab tour leader in the future. I would highly recommend this tour and I will be back to Bali in the future for sure!

The program was well structured so that we did a lot of activities but still had some free time to explore the places by ourselves or with new friends we made. Despite having a smaller group, Lish insured we all had a great time and by the end of the nine days we became a little family. The tour was good at pushing me outside of my comfort zone and making me try new things, which I really appreciated. Some of the accommodation seemed a little basic for the price of the tour but none-the-less, it was an overall great experience and I couldn't recommend Lish enough.

The activities during the trip was so much fun. I thoroughly enjoyed the surfing and the monkey forest. All things I wouldn't be able to do if I did not attend the tour. There are plenty of activities but also the right amount of downtime for it to feel like a holiday. All activities were organized perfectly, and every day was planned so there was no hanging around and waiting. A key thing was that there was breakfast every day which really helps. Lish was an amazing tour guide. She was extremely friendly and attentive. No issue was too big and she was always on hand for help and advice. I really enjoyed getting to know Lish with her fun nature and kind personality. I will definitely recommend TruTravels and hope whoever books the tour has the pleasure of meeting Lish and the extremely positive experience I have had with the company.

My experience with the Bali tour is something that was out of this world, what was advertised online is what I really saw when I arrived in Bali. Food, transportation, the group leader (Lish) was so amazing and the Bali experience on its own was too amazing. The surfing was amazing and such a good time, considering the early wake up – blame the tide! Also it was great to get the chance to do the volcano trek which really pushed me out of my comfort zone but was a great feeling of achievement when I reached to the top. Lish really added to the trip with her fun, friendly and helpful persona. Really felt like I could talk to her or ask her anything. Would 100% recommend the trip and will be looking at other trips that TruTravels offers!

There has been a great mix of activities a lot of which you'd never think of doing whilst you were here on your own. Some of the accommodation could do with minor improvements but nothing that would spoil the holiday/tour. Lish has been an amazing tour guide and has made everyone feel welcome and has gone the extra mile to make sure everyone is okay. She has also made sure everyone has been cared for with their needs/wants. I wish her all the best and hope to see her again for another tour :)

Lish, our tour leader, was very organized and confident, making a trip feel much safer than travelling alone, good tips and useful information was given to help us along on the trip. We got to see some of the most beautiful parts of Bali and really experience this at its best! I will be using TruTravels in the future for sure.

The whole itinerary was clearly constructed and everything flowed effectively. I especially enjoyed activities such as surfing, monkey forest, snorkelling and the additional volcano sunrise trek! The only thing I felt was that having the rice terraces following the volcano trek was heavy and tiring – however I understood it was optional and still a great experience nevertheless. The accommodation was all suitable – loved Canggu's accommodation especially! The breakfast included each morning was ideal and helpful to start every morning without wasting time sorting our own before starting activities. Last, but not least, Lish, our tour leader, has been absolutely incredible throughout the whole of this tour. She has ensured that everyone has made the most of every experience we have had. She has especially ensured that everyone felt welcomed and included in the group, especially during evenings where she made sure to cater to everyone! Lish is truly an amazing and kind person that we all felt that we could approach her with anything and she would always be happy to help. Thank you SO much for everything! Diolch! x

The different locations we visited gave us a great tour of what Bali he has to offer. I feel like there was a great balance of physical activities and cultural learning along with some much needed free time in between. Lish was a great tour guide and really tried to include everyone in different activities. Her knowledge is great and it's great that she is accessible on Facebook whenever needed. I would definitely recommend this tour to other people and will be looking at other TruTravels tours! :)

I also loved being able to swim next to turtles! I couldn't believe we managed to see So many! Our leader, Lish, made our holiday the best. She met the needs of all of us and made changes if we wanted to do another activity etc. I could talk to her about anything and she was very friendly to all of us! Very fun action-packed holiday! :)

Lish was amazing and managed to find time for us to help with the plastic recycling which we had inquired about. I think it would be a great option for future tours! Lish was a very attentive guide and made sure everyone in the group was happy, which was fab as there was a variety of people and groups. Thanks Lish! Key parts of the tour for me were the local guide on day one, volcano hike, plastic recycling, surfing, and seeing turtles!

I would have liked another day in Ubud, as there is not much time to explore or book additional things. Lish's support is incredible, and she helps you get the best out of the experience including photos and excursions. The itinerary was good and I feel like I have made the most out of my time here thanks to Lish. Overall incredible, stress-free and Lish was out of this world especially as she added in the plastic bottle recycling volunteering activity. Flexible and amazing.

As my first time out of Europe, it was a great way to ease into such a different place, with everything planned for you, making the whole experience run more smoothly. Now I know what to expect and feel more comfortable continuing my travels. We have been incredibly lucky with our group with everyone getting on better than I imagined - I feel like I have known everyone for ages! This was also down to our tour guide, Lish, she was the perfect mix of bubbly, considerate and encouraging of everyone's needs. She brought a lot of energy and life to the experience. We have packed so much in and with all the transport and activities it was definitely worth the money. Gili has been so beautiful that I wish we had more time to simply explore the island and chill but I understand that it is so difficult to fit everything in as it was jampacked. I really recommend TruTravels to people who are slightly nervous about traveling (whether alone or with a friend), don't normally have everything planned (as it's done for you) and are keen to meet new people from around the world

Everything you want from a guide. All of the activities are so well organized and having locals lead them is so good as I felt we learned more about their culture and way of life. The variety of activities has been brilliant. Lish has taken time to get to know us all individually - her enthusiasm for life is infectious - thanks so much for making this experience for me. I have met some really great people on the tour which was what I was nervous about, but because we spend so much time together it's so easy to make friends. I am so glad I chose to come on this tour as I've experienced so much and it's been fab. Lish, you are an awesome human. Thank you! x

If I had come to Bali on my own I'm sure I would have done only half of the things we manage to do. It was a good experience overall. Whilst I sometimes felt like slowing down, there is not one thing I would have not done on this trip given the option. Great package, great people all around and some really great memories. Lish was the best tour guide I could have asked for - from being super informative and organized, to helping us cycle home from the kebab shop at 2AM after an all day pool party. I met the most amazing people on the trip, from others in the group to local tour guides, it feels like I've known some of the girls for years! My favourite experience was the boat trip and snorkelling in the Gili islands - for someone who is scared of fish, I felt so at ease and not pressured at all to join in and ended up loving it! I would really recommend this tour to people who are slightly nervous about travelling and/or are travelling solo. The added bonus of having a lovely caring tpur guide was that Lish always helped me get over my irrational fears - this intern encouraged me to do some of the most surreal things/activities of my life! I was extremely tired at times from the early wake ups and action-packed days a.k.a. the volcano trek followed by the rice terraces and dinner, however, I'm very glad looking back that we were able to do so many amazing things in such little time! My favourite two days were both in Gili T - day one in Gili going to Mad Monkey Hostel for the pool party was so much fun, the love was shared around all the group -especially with Lish! Unforgettably fun and hilarious day telling each other how much we all loved one another. Snorkelling was also amazing, best day of my life - saw sea turtles and jumped off the boat, I had no idea it was going to be that amazing - it was nothing like I thought! I couldn't thank Lish more or being like a big sister to me through these 10 days and be so unjudgemental, kind, caring, but also fun, vibrant, hilarious and crazy. I hope we stay friends forever! :) x

Our tour guide, Lish, was very good at considering all ages and abilities. She is very knowledgable of the island and is very friendly and welcoming. The itinerary was fun and a mixture of culture and action. The Bali Experience is very much an energetic experience however a couple of nights off are given to do your own activities, which I thought balanced things out a little. I found the experience enjoyable I was not prepared for how action-packed the tour would be so initially it caught me by surprise, but still found it very fun! The trip was very much great value for money. The tour was so much fun, Lish is absolutely great and it's true, time flies when you're having fun!

I hadn't been outside Europe and often struggled with panic attacks but choosing the tour was the best decision, as before we even left we were provided with so much information that I felt so at ease and this literally continued throughout the whole trip. I cannot fault our guide at all. Lish was constantly bubbly, she always made sure everyone knew what was happening and that no one was ever left out. So much so that on snorkelling trip despite me having a panic attack, she calmed me down and was so supportive that I actually managed to get in the water and ended up experiencing my highlight of the trip - seeing a turtle. I was also surprised how great the group was, we all clicked so quickly and Lish struggled to get us to stop talking - very cliche but you would think we were friends for years!

When I met Lish I was happy to know she was a complete package which you would expect from a tour leader. We were always well informed as a group in person and confirmation was always sent via social media. She did all the activities with us which was very nice. We always got a little history lesson prior to the items on the itinerary which was also really nice. She interacted with everyone on the tour which I believe brought the group closer together. The itinerary itself was really lovely, a bit of everything to do with fun activities and laid-back. It was a bit more physical than I expected, being asthmatic, but the group was helpful in this regard. It was a good mixture of people on the tour. Overall, I thought the tour was amazing, which had a great deal to do with Lish. I would definitely recommend this tour going forward.

The tour leaders, Lish and Elias, were really encouraging to get us involved in everything but never put any pressure on if you didn’t want to do something. They were really inclusive, making a big effort to speak to everyone and make sure we all felt part of the group. The highlight of the tour was definitely Gili T – absolutely stunning island. The calm and peacefulness of Ubud is great after a busy few days in Canggu. The tour is excellent for solo travellers – you will meet lots of people in your group and never feel on your own. Bali has been a brilliant experience – so glad I came with TruTravels!

My personal highlight of the tour was probably swimming with turtles I say, probably because there are any number of activities I could’ve chosen. Even the most simple of things, like sitting on the beach at sunset with your new best friends you’ve made on the tour. The only downside for the tour that could possibly be argued is perhaps (at times) the lack of wifi, which is actually a non-issue as it forces you to make conversation and engage with people! Overall, I’d recommend the 10 Day Bali Experience to anyone who is looking to inject some fun and excitement and unforgettable memories into their lives. Regarding the tour guides I was placed with on the trip, I have not a bad word to say about either of them. Lish has an incredibly adaptable personality – she could be the life of the party one minute but could also turn a switch to fill a responsible motherly role or a teacher with one of the many informative cultural speeches. Elias – unforgettable catch phrases, brings people up when they’re down without fail and his native speaking provided cultural integration that wouldn’t be possible without him.

Surfing was super fun as I had never been before, The instructors were patient and kind and Lish, our tour guide, took some great photos. Lish was very organized which allowed me to fully relax. I knew if anything went wrong, she would take care of it. She was also super friendly and a joy to hang out with. I thought she did a great job balancing low-key chill nights and fun going out nights. This is my second TruTravels tour and I would love to do another. It would also be awesome if Lish was my guide again. Love TruTravels trips, I suggest it to all of my friends!

Doing the tour after travelling on our own for 3 weeks made me realise that the TruTravel tours are a really good idea and really make travelling easy. Everything was planned and on time and it was really good value for money. So I would deffo do one again. The hotels were all really good and thought it was good they were all twin rooms and not hostels. And all the activities were great. About my tour guides…what can I say apart from knowing I’ve made two new friends? They have been friendly, patient, responsible, caring, and loads of fun! I loved learning and exploring the rich culture of Bali, but my favourite place was Gili T. Gili is a beautiful island and a perfect way to end our trip. My favourite activity was the snorkeling. I was extremely nervous but Darrin and Lish helped me out and before I knew it, I was out in the water enjoying the beautiful blue ocean.
I truly appreciate the fact that I was grouped up with both Darrin and Lish. They were both attentive to each of our needs, took us to some really cool joints and were so pleasurable and easy to be around. From the moment we met, I immediately felt at ease about being in a foreign country, and honestly, that’s all I could have asked for.
Whenever I use TruTravels, I would definitely love to be in Lish and Darrin’s group again. What a trip!

I really loved the Monkey Forest and got the chance to say hi to a few of my cousins. Surfing was an absolute rad experience and I'm amazed I didn't look like a right turnip doing it. I dunno, maybe I did but it didn't feel like it. King of the beach baby!
Gotta make a special mention to snorkeling as well. Seeing those turtles man, I literally forgot where I was. It was only the pounding of my excited heart that reminded me where I was. Those turtles man!
Gili was a blast to be in too. Reminded me a touch of 4000 Islands in Laos, and if I'm making that comparison, your're doing something right.

The tour was well planned and very hassle free, the itinerary was great and had something that would suit everyone. My favorite activities were the surfing, cooking class, and snorkeling trip. I got to see turtles which is another thing ticked off my bucket list.
Transport was always well organised which made things so easy and again, hassle free. Even when plans changed, we were kept in the loop and alternatives were arranged.
Gili T was by far my favourite part of the trip. If I could change one thing, it would be to spend more time here instead of Ubud.
Overall, TruTravels has my heart and is the best budget tour group to help me to see parts of the world I would never have thought I'd ever see. I've made life-long friends and memories that are special to me. I recommend it anyone. Thank you!

Lish was the best guide – very informative, fun, always made the effort to check we were always okay! We met very friendly guides along the way and had the best experience! Really like the Facebook page as point of contact for all photos. Enjoyed the fact that we had free time every day to do our own thing, could be longer though due to delays etc. Also like that Lish took us out for nights when this is not included as part of the package, The hotels chosen could be a bit better in terms of cleanliness etc.
All in all, I loved this trip and would recommend it to anyone!

Lish was always very considerate and accommodating and extremely friendly which made my experience that much better!
The local people/drivers, instructors were all very lovely and friendly and I always felt safe when doing risky activities (surfing, snorkeling, etc.)
The only thing I wish I had more of was the “down time” or “free time” as some activities took longer than needed – this was more because other fellow travelers wanted to shop @ markets etc. I think this should be managed so it’s considerate for everyone else.

I was a solo traveler and was scared out of my mind to go to a foreign country alone. I was looking through the web and travel advisor linked me with TruTravels who happened to be doing a tour within the dates I was given to have off. I paid and got the travel insurance. I was confused by the rest but TruTravels helped me non-stop the whole way. Finally, I got to Bali and met the whole group and we all clicked even though our age ranges were very different. I've done so many amazing things since being with the group. We snorkeled, saw rice terraces, surfed, and cooked Balinese food! We did so much more as well and I'm glad that I was able to on this trip because I've never done most of the activities! Lish was with us 100% and made sure were comfortable and safe. I loved Bali and everything that we've done. I love the friends I've made on this trip and the best thing is that we're not saying goodbye to each other, it's "see you later". The Koh Phangan part of the tour was great as there was sufficient downtime prior to the Full Moon Party. I also enjoyed the Echo Beach accommodation!

And let's not forget Bottle Beach and the fire show experience and trying it out myself!

I am grateful to have had all three guides (Lish, Bee, Papsii) showing me this beautiful country and I've loved that TruTravels provides a native guide throughout the trip. Everything has run smoothly and like clockwork. Bee, Lish, and Papsii have been amazing, knowledgeable, and great leaders. Although the tour is tiring, I feel like there was enough free time and balance of activities. Despite being poorly too, Papsii and Lish have still gotten involved and organized everything on our behalf, e.g. onward travel and elephant sanctuary. Both Papsii and Bee had great English speaking skills also. My favorite activity of the trip was diving in Koh Tao and the elephant sanctuary in Phuket. My favorite memory of the trip was Khao Sok National Park and the longtail boat to the bungalows, the swim in the lake before arriving at the bungalows, the kayaking, and sunset.

On time and runs like clockwork. Very good value for money and the tour took out the stress we might otherwise have had. The itinerary was a good mix and there was something to do every day. There was also a good balance of free time to do your own thing as a couple or a group outside of the itinerary. Lish, Bee, Papsii were our tour leaders. They made the trip very memorable and looked after us all the way. Lish was the life and soul of the party, but still made sure everyone was catered for in the group at all times. Bee and Papsii were super friendly and knowledgeable as our Thai tour leaders. Great English and answered all our questions. My favorite memory was arriving at Khao Sok National Park. It was peaceful and tranquil. Another favorite memory were the Bottle Beach huts and waking up on the beach as well as the viewpoint hike. My favorite activity was the snorkel trip in Koh Tao where we saw a sea turtle and a shark! I have nothing but positive feedback. Keep doing what you are doing . Keep guides like Lish, Bee, and Papsii - the tour wouldn't be the same without them.

Lish made everyone feel included and welcome the whole time no matter how shy they were at first. She made it her mission to make sure everyone was having an amazing time at every pointf of the tour. I was bricking it when I first turned up as I was the last person by a fair bit but all of that dissapeared when I met lish and the rest of the group.
We visited some incredible places you would never even think of if you went on your own and honestly the 28 days I spent on this tour were among the best in my life.
I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to make new friends and experience the best Thailand has to offer and will 100% be returning next year with my cousin!

All three of the guides (Everett, Art and Alicia) were great. Alicia had to leave the tour very early for reasons beyond her control, but she came across as being very friendly and knowledgable. Art is a very laid back, effortlessly cool guy who kept a good eye on the group. He was very organised throughout, making sure we got to places on time and didn't miss anything. Ev is a great guy, very down to earth and full of energy. Funny dude too, he had the group in stitches a lot of the time. Considering it was his first tour he did a great job (Special thanks to him for making sure I got back to the hotel OK after I got way too drunk on the first night!). Everyone else in the group was great. The activities were organised well, it felt like there was enough time to chill out as well as do stuff. Worth the money in my opinion. I probably would have struggled to do as much by myself without doing a tour.
If I had to make any criticism - some of the places we were taken for food could have been better, considering there seemed to be a hell of a lot of choice in most places we went to. A lot of them were good though. There were also places I wish I could have stayed longer... bottle beach for example! One day was not enough! But with so much packed into the 18 days I know that isn't possible. The transport wasn't always comfortable, but if you're doing a tour like this you should expect to have to rough it every now and then. It's all part of the experience in my opinion. I loved the longtail boat rides though! This might also not be the right tour for you if you don't drink... there is a lot of partying! I loved it however.
I made some great memories with a great group of people. It has definitely given me the urge to do some more traveling ASAP!

The tour wouldn’t have been the same without the amazing tour guides: Lish, Art and Everett. Lish unfortunately left the tour early but was so full of fun and took care of me and a good few others when we got the mysterious sickness bug! Art is the most organised but chill human I’ve ever met and made sure we were everywhere on time as well as taking us to great restaurants. Everett is one of the happiest people I’ve ever met and always made sure everyone was enjoying themselves, really can’t believe this was his first tour.. a total natural! (Don’t tell him I said that). Made memories I’ll treasure forever and feel so lucky I was able to experience everything with what I believe was the BEST group of people I could have wished for❤️ Friends for life. Can’t wait for another TruTravels tour and would recommend the company to anyone!

The guides for our trip were Everett, Lish and Art, I’ve got so much gratitude and love for all of them. We arrived in Bangkok 4 days early so had some hangtime with one of our guides, Everett, prior to the start of the tour. Everett introduced us to a few other guides and everybody was so warm and welcoming, Steve, Delaney, Colin, Justin and Max to name a few. Alas, Lish was unwell so couldn’t complete the whole tour with us but while she was there she was a truly great guide, I was soul crushingly sick on the first day when we went to the temples and she looked after me like a mother wolf protecting her young, I genuinely think I’d still be there, dying in the temple toilets if it wasn’t for her. Everett is easily one of the most likeable people I’ve ever met, his constant positivity and joie de vivre rubbed off onto everybody on the tour, it must be the stereotypical friendly Canadian in him, his natural warmth really bought everybody together, there certainly wouldn’t have been as many laughs (or games of beer pong) without him. My only complaint is that he’s too handsome and too good at pool. Art, where do I st-art, he is such a chilled guy, his knowledge of every spot on the tour was second to none, no matter where we were he knew exactly where to eat and drink and always had suggestions if we had something in mind, making us feel imensely more comfortable about doing whatever it was we were doing. The tour itself was incredible, without a doubt we visited the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen, and to do it all in such great company was nothing short of living the dream. I truly believe I’ve made friends for life, the memories of this trip are like a little film I’ll look at in my head for a very long time. (until my next Tru Travels tour).

The tour totally exceeded my expectations in every way possible. It has the perfect mix of adventure, unreal scenery, viewpoints and amazing parties! Our guides were Lish, Art and Everett. Lish unfortunately could only stay with us for a short while but she was so lovely and helpful, and when I was ill walked with me to the pharmacy and advised me on what to do. Art our Thai guide was so organised and made sure we were always on time for our transport. He also has very good knowledge of safe places to eat or extra activities to do in each area. Very chill guy and a great laugh. Everett, where do I begin, what a great guy! To quote him ‘usually first up and last to bed’. Knows how to have fun but also there to helping when it’s needed. Became everyone’s best mate and always tried his best to include every single person on the trip. Always so happy even at 5am after getting off the overnight ferry. Considering this was his first tour he did an AMAZING job! Overall the guides organised everything so well. They always let us know the night before what was happening the next day and were so good at offering extra activities to those who wanted to do them. Also they where there to help when I got ill and injured myself (oops).
If you are considering this tour 100% just book it you will not regret it! I can’t wait to do another TruTravels trip next year.

This tour allowed me to see all that Thailand has to of…I recently finished the 18 day island hopper tour and had the best 18 days of my life! The tour was everything i could have wished for and more. This tour allowed me to see all that Thailand has to offer with its amazing scenery, great food and all the hidden gems as we made our way from Bangkok all the way to Phuket, the last stop. We covered plenty of activities and seen some of the most beautiful landscapes and viewpoints, thanks to Everett. The trip would not have been complete without the people i experienced it with in our group, and the tourguides, Everett, Art and Alicia, who were absolutely fantastic from start to finish and made the experience one to remember. The guides went above and beyond to make the experience an unforgettable one and i can not praise them enough! Art, the Thai guide was an expert in making sure we were where we needed to be at all times, and made sure we were on time for every train, boat or bus journey. He knew all the best restaurants and his experience was clear to see. Alicia, although she was only with us for a short time, was a great guide and made sure everyone was having a good time and was feeling alright. Alicia gave some great tips on Thai culture and made sure we were safe at all times, while also taking us out on some great nights at Khoa San road in Bankgok, and at Bottle Beach. It was sad to see Alicia go and i am grateful to have met her as she is a great person as well as a great tour guide. The last of the tour guides was Everett - and what a guy he was! Everett was one of the most energetic, happy, fun, and outgoing people i have ever met. I travelled alone and right from the start, Everett made me feel like i had met a new bestfriend. From taking us on treks to the viewpoints, to the countless nights out and fun games, i could not have asked for a better tour guide. He made sure to include the whole group and gave everyone the chance to take part in the day trips and activities. If you have Everett as your guide, your a lucky person! Overall, i had an amazing time out in Thailand and will be using Tru Travels again next year for my next trip to see the rest of South East Asia.

I had an amazing time in North Thailand. Lish and minnie are great guides and we became all good friends. I learnd a lot about thailand, the culture and people, but we had also a lot of fun.

We all got on so well and have become such good friends. The tour guides Minnie and Lish were fab and could not have done any more for us. They were fun, friendly and fitted in perfectly with our trutravels family. I honestly can't thank them enough for all they did for us and making every moment great. I have the best memories from this trip and would definitely travel with trutravels again x

My trip was absolutely amazing :). First time traveling on my own an I was lucky enough to have Minnie & Lish as my tour guides! These past 14 days with them were wonderful an I will never forget them…My trip was absolutely amazing :). First time traveling on my own an I was lucky enough to have Minnie & Lish as my tour guides! These past 14 days with them were wonderful an I will never forget them or friends I met along the way! Our group became one big family. Everyday since day one we always had a wonderful time. Seeing temples, learning about Thai history, chasing waterfalls, treecking through a jungle or just relaxing with the travel family & renting scooters. There wasn’t a single moment we weren’t having fun! Once agin a HUGE SHOUT OUT TO Lish & Minnie for making my travel experience the best it could possibly have been :).

They made sure everything ran so smoothly and we were all happy all of the time. I could not recommend this tour enough, every day was full of stuff to do and for what we paid it was more than worth it!! If you’re lucky enough to get Minnie and Lish as your guides then it’s just a huge bonus.

She was the best, everything about her is amazing. Her sparkling personality, her knowledge of Bali, she was very organized and could always answer any questions the group had. Lish is someone you guys need to hold onto for a long time. She was definitely made a big part of why the Bali experience was so perfect not sure it would have been as great with another guide. The itinerary was also very good some good down chill time, but most importantly Activitys and sightseeing. This was the best tour I’d taken in my 4 months in Asia. I can’t wait till my next tour with you guys.
