The hotel was great, friendly service, yummy food and lots of it. The walks were great, the app worked well. Unfortunately, being a bit early in the season meant some of the walks were not available, we didn’t find out until trying to get to the start. The hotel thought they were open also. A couple of other walks would then give other options. Overall I really enjoyed it all.
Self-Guided Walks in the Italian DolomitesVery memorable trip. Great hikes- choice of two difficult grades. Lovely group, we had heaps of fun and shared great views. Our mountain guide Thomas kept our group motivated and provided us detailed information what to expect from the day.
Hiking the DolomitesI enjoyed my trip even though I was not able to attend all of the hikes due to the type of terrain and the experience needed. I am used to hiking but not at the level needed to complete the hikes on this tour, without causing injury to myself. I think it would be helpful to advise potential customers that they should have experience with rocky terrain and sometimes steep declines. The hotel/hotel staff/food were all excellent. The guide was knowledgeable and friendly. I loved the area that was used for lodging. Nice town with easy access to the train. I am slightly disappointed, as I did speak with representatives from Tourradar prior to booking, and nothing was mentioned about the level of difficulty. I am a repeat customer with Tourradar, so I was a bit surprised that I was not prepared for this trip, due to lack of communication from Tourradar.
