Freddy and the crew were exceptional! I felt well-taken care of and had a great experience. I also learned a lot from Freddy. I will recommend them in the future!
Salkantay Trek & Inca Trail to Machu PicchuAn incredible once-in-a-lifetime experience! Trexperience were phenomenal from start to finish - our guides, Danny and Daniel, head porter, Benedict and head chef, Leandro, and all the porters were fantastic. Highly recommend!
4-Day Classic Inca Trail to Machu Picchu - Small Group & Vistadome TrainOn the first day of the trek, we unexpectedly had to leave the trail to seek urgent medical care. Alpaca Expeditions immediately stepped in to help. They consulted with local community members who shared deep ancestral medical knowledge, and they coordinated transportation and medical attention in the nearest village. When the medical staff advised us that the safest course of action was to return to Cusco, Alpaca Expeditions once again arranged transportation and helped coordinate our care. They even made sure we received our duffel bags with our overnight belongings while we waited at urgent care. The next day, they checked in on our father’s condition. Thanks to the care, compassion, and attention of Alpaca Expeditions, we were able to rejoin the group and spend the final day of the expedition together. That would not have been possible without their exceptional support. We cannot fully express how grateful we are to the staff at Alpaca Expeditions and cannot recommend Alpaca Expeditions highly enough. If you are booking the Inca Trail, this is the company to choose. Special thanks to our amazing guides, Jhois and Mel. ¡Tupananchiskama, Alpaca Expeditions!
