We hiked Kilimanjaro to the summit along the beautiful and long rongai route. We chose a 7 day tour, 5 days up and 2 days to get back down. The walk was absolutely beautiful with numerous highlights from the rain forrest at 2000 m altitude and all the way up to the ice, rock and snow at 4000 m plus. The summit climb during nighttime to 5 895 m is of course strenuous but manageable for most in ok shape, and the total experience was absolutely once in a lifetime.

One of the most amazing experiences I've ever had! Migration Venture Africa has an excellent team, great camping structure and wonderful food. The guide spoke very good English and I didn't, but he really made an effort to understand me not to mention solid knowledge of hiking at high altitudes. I went alone with the team and I felt super safe and welcomed by everyone, not to mention the care with both my health condition and little care (pampering) that makes all the difference.
