New England Tours for Solo Travelers
Ready for a Cadillac Mountain sunrise? Acadia's coastal trails have ocean views, Portland's Old Port serves seafood in brick buildings, and Bar Harbor does lobster every possible way. Newport's Breakers mansion shows how the Vanderbilts lived, Martha's Vineyard has those gingerbread cottages in Oak Bluffs, and Vermont's Green Mountains blaze with fall colors. Don’t forget Mount Washington's Cog Railway that chugs up steep grades as the world's first mountain-climbing train.

What people love about touring New England solo
- Fall Colours of New England
It was a great tour with a pretty good guide. The Holiday Inn Express in Pittsfield was definitely one I would never go back to. When we arrived, the hallways smelled like a sewer, and evidently they were having issues on the second floor. There was a long brown hair (I have short blonde and what my husband does have is gray) on the corner rim of our tub when we got there and it was still there when we left. Anthony, our bus driver, was excellent--courteous, kind, and helpful. Scott was good, but he kept looking things up on Google and relaying the information to us. To me, he should have been a little more prepared if he is going to be a guide. But, he kept everything going on time, and spent hours looking for our luggage which had been put in an empty room (again at the Pittsfield Holiday Inn Express).
- Autumn Colours
This was a fabulous tour - great scenery and outings, lovely meals, appropriate accommodation and a first class tour director (Dave S). Highly recommended.
- Cape Cod & the Islands
Great trip!! The Red Jacket Resort was perfect… Hilary, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and helpful. Would definitely recommend this trip.
