This was an excellent tour. Everything from the itinerary, food, accommodations, and equipment provided was perfect. Even the weather cooperated! I would do business with Do the North again.

Most amazing experience. From the tour guides to places seen and travelled to I cant fault. All the hotels were very nice except the Hotel in Denmark where the tv didnt work at all - told the staff but nothing was done to fix it. Other than that absolutely loved everything - thank you!

- Spring 2026
Spring tours in Sweden blend city exploration with outdoor activities, as the weather warms into comfortable temperatures. Our Stockholm packages have become a favorite this season, especially since we include those handy 24-hour bus passes letting visitors explore the Vasa Museum, Royal Palace and also Gamla Stan at their own pace. The guided walking tours through Stockholm's historic quarters work especially well with spring's mild weather, and our travelers often tell us how much they enjoy finding hidden gems like the city's narrowest alley while learning local history from our expert guides. Copenhagen serves as a gateway for many spring visitors, who start by exploring Nyhavn's waterfront before taking the scenic ferry crossing to Sweden. The season's moderate climate creates perfect conditions for touring Kronborg Castle and wandering through Jönköping's peaceful lakeside paths. TourRadar customers consistently note how spring visits help them dodge the summer crowds while still enjoying ideal temperatures for both city exploration and countryside walks.

- Summer 2026
Summer opens up Sweden's archipelagos for kayaking and island exploration, with many of our travelers opting for 5-8 day self-guided trips. The Saint Anna region is particularly popular - you'll paddle through mazes of forested islands, spot white-tailed eagles and discover hidden swimming spots. These tours provide top-quality camping gear and let you choose your own route among thousands of islands. Many paddlers love visiting the historic village of Harstena for fresh-baked cinnamon rolls and local seafood. Another summer favorite combines Copenhagen's bike culture with Swedish coastal towns - you'll cycle through Stockholm's Royal National City Park, take ferries to car-free islands and join local guides who show you their favorite fika cafes in places like Alingsas.

We include practical 24-hour transport passes and centrally located hotels in our 5-day city packages, making it easy to navigate Stockholm's highlights and hidden corners. Multi-city options connect Copenhagen with Stockholm, taking you through charming historic towns like Örebro, Vadstena and also Linköping along the way. Our customers particularly value those authentic Nordic moments - from wandering Nyhavn's vibrant waterfront to crossing the strait by ferry and exploring medieval fortresses like Kronborg Castle. Local guides weave cultural stories throughout your journey, and we balance structured activities with plenty of time to explore independently between these fascinating Nordic capitals.
