We took the tour with 4-star accommodation. I found the program quite comprehensive and well-planned. We also liked the hotel selection. All local guides were enthusiastic and helpful, even as their English was hard to understand at times. I recommend visiting Laos to all travel enthusiasts! I have to complain that our tour supervisor did not warn us about freaky security regulations of the local railway. As a result, some our valuable items got confiscated. Also, my general question is: if everything (hotels, transportation, admission tickets, food) is so cheap in Laos, why is the tour so expensive?

Fantastic tour guides and experience. I only felt that the hotels were a bit basic for the amount I paid ( and double as a solo traveller). Hotels were also underbooked so felt a bit aggri4leced about the cost. Tour guides though, ten out of ten!
