You'll sleep in actual yurts beside Issyk-Kul Lake, wander through Bukhara's ancient bazaars, stand in Samarkand's Registan Square wondering how they built it, learn how they make those felt carpets, watch an eagle hunter work with his bird, and explore Khiva's maze-like streets. this was the most interesting, fascinating and enjoyable trip I have been on...and I have been on quite a few others. It was an area I had never been in before and of which I knew very little. I came away in love with the countries. The pace of the trip was nearly perfect, the accommodations excellent, and the adventures were kind of other worldly. But all that almost pales in comparison when considering the guides...the Guides were as good, as knowledgeable, as friendly and as helpful as any that i could ever imagine. I WANT TO GO BACK!

Our Guide Justin was a wonderful mix of historical information to everyday life as well as being enthusiastic about the activities that were on offer throughout the tour. The itinerary was a good mix of things to do as well as quiet time on the bus travelling between destinations. Some days were a little long getting to the hotels which didn't suit us this could have been reduced by shorter lunch breaks or time at highlight stops.
