The tour was comprehensive and well planned. The tour director and tour guides were all very good. My primary complaint, and warning to anyone considering a Globus tour, is not to go with any kind of an odd number. 1 person, 3 people, 5 person party, etc. Everything is set up for 2s. We were a family of three, and were told (I called and emailed ahead of time) that since we were paying full price for three people, our room would be a "triple." They implied that this was something different than a double. It was not. Our room was the exact same as a double, just with a cot thrown in. The problem with that is the rooms in German hotels are TINY, and so once you add a cot, I kid you not, there was NO room for luggage to be opened. I generally had to take the little night table and chair included in the room and put it in the hallway outside the room just to open a single luggage at a time (and we had three). At night, with the cot, it was a safety hazard as there was barely a walkway to the bathroom. Having us pay a third full price fare for NO change in the hotel is pretty much a scam. I get that there was likely a fee for the third continental breakfast in the morning, but still. Now that I've warned anyone considering an odd-numbered party, I will say that other than that the trip was a reasonable success. I wish the included dinners weren't in the hotel (it reminded me of going to a conference, with bland hotel buffets, when I would have preferred eating the local cuisine), but other than that, really, the tour was enjoyable and as expected.

This was a fantastic tour. Werner kept everyone in line and on time. He also helped make special arrangements to help us extend our vacation an extra day. Seen a lot, done a lot, ate a lot of good food and some new things I've never tried. Our guide was very knowledgeable and accommodating. This was a dream vacation seeing 4 concentration camps and dozens of WWII historical sites. I felt comfortable with the driver, I'd hate to be responsible to maneuver that big bus through the narrow streets and heavy traffic but our driver was a champ! I felt 100% comfortable. If you go on this tour, remember a tour is NOT a vacation! We were busy almost always 7A to 7P. Food was good, most of the hotels were excellent. Downside, ice is hard to come by as well as Dr. Pepper! LOL

Tour was very pleasant and we enjoyed it fully. You may improve upon the guide services as Eric was a good fellow but he needs to acquire more knowledge about the places we visited. He needs to be more informative. The bus services did not hv wifi and guide should be provided with whispers, as the guide was at a loss to communicate properly with the travellers which might hv resulted in less information. Pl. look into this aspect.
