This was a fantastic cruise around the beautiful Croatian islands. The crew were very supportive and easy to communicate with. The swim stops were well sorted by the captain and enough time was given for each one. I would have liked a little more time in some town stops to hire a kayak or paddle board before their closing times when we would arrive for the night. The food was exceptional with a great cook. My only complaint was the lack of access to any free drinkable water on board. We all became quite dehydrated due to the expensive small water bottles for sale and no provision of water at meal times. We weren’t allowed to bring any large bottles of water on board at the town stops. ID Riva needs to sort this as many guests were complaining about this. Otherwise everything was great Thankyou to MS Azimut crew.
Dalmatian Highlights Split and Dubrovnik Region Cruise (Standard Boat Category)It was a perfect experience. The tour guide Nina was organised, friendly and knowledgeable and we achieved what I was expecting us to do. I loved staying on the islands and was happy I made the decision not to do a cruise option.
Explore CroatiaAfter some initial nerves about where to meet the boat because the address wasn't quite right, we found the right location and were very pleasantly surprised to have been given an upgrade. So our trip was absolutely fantastic and we are now inspired to look for other similar trips in other destinations, and at this deluxe quality level.

Brač offers the distinctive Golden Horn Beach (Zlatni Rat) which changes shape with the tides and winds. Hvar Town features important historical sites including the Arsenal and Franciscan Monastery while Korčula draws visitors to its medieval architecture and the claimed birthplace of Marco Polo. The salt lakes of Mljet National Park provide a natural counterpoint to the historical sites. As one TourRadar traveler noted "The UNESCO sites in Split and Dubrovnik were incredible but the hidden coves and beaches we discovered while island hopping were the real highlights."
When is the best time to visit Croatia for island hopping?
Croatia's island hopping season reaches its peak from June through September when warm temperatures create ideal swimming conditions. July and August see the highest visitor numbers with temperatures up to 40°C. Those looking to avoid crowds while still enjoying good weather should consider May or September. The Pearls of the Adriatic tour runs most frequently in September which provides excellent conditions for exploring Hvar Korčula and Brač.

Croatia Island Hopping tours provide diverse lodging options. Guests often split their stays between land-based hotels such as the 4-star Hotel Vila Nora in Hvar or Hotel Marco Polo in Korčula and nights aboard sailing vessels with air-conditioned cabins. Some itineraries include stays in local apartments offering a closer look at Croatian daily life. A TourRadar traveler shares: "The accommodation was neat clean and safe.
