We had an excellent time in Luxor with Egypt Gift Tours. With only one day, we were amazed at how much we saw. Details sent by WhatsApp beforehand, we had a 7:30 start (picked up from our hotel) and 4:30 finish. Valley of the Kings (including visits inside three tombs), then Hatshepsut's Temple and an Alabaster Museum (no pressure to buy but the stuff really was lovely). Colossi of Memnon, then lunch, followed by magnificent Karnak, the Nile boat trip and Luxor Temple. Lunch was very good, outside at a high quality restaurant. Lovely soup and a main course. The included felucca trip was a real bonus, very glad to have that peaceful hour to relax with a lovely cup of tea brewed on board. Our guide for the day was absolutely brilliant, Hatem Ibrahim was so helpful, really friendly and knowledgeable speaking superb English. The driver was great, very safe on some very busy roads. Entrance fees (February 2026) were a total of about 2400 Egyptian pounds per person. We were amazed how much we saw without feeling rushed at any point. If you are short of time this is a wonderful tour, very highly recommended.
