We had an amazing time! Ronald was a great guide, super friendly and full of information! We had a full agenda for the week, which was great to be busy and see all that we could. Would suggest bringing small denominations for tips ( $20,$10,$5,$1) I only had $20 bills so everyone was tipped very well as I had no way of getting change. The longer hikes ( Dianne Fossey and the Summit /Lake ) should be split up with something easier like the Golden Monkeys in between . We had both long hikes back to back and it was VERY Challenging with no rest day in between. Overall - it was a trip of a lifetime that I will recommend to anyone who is interested.

Gorilla trekking was much easier than expected, for which I was very grateful for being 70 yrs old (we really lucked out they were at the border of the park). Our guide was very knowledgeable, patient and kind. Akagera National Park was beautiful and allowed us to see many animals; really enjoyed the boat ride in the lake at dusk! Accomodations and food were great! Highly recommend! The only downfall I would say is this company, G Adventures, was not the most respectful in relaying answers from my questions. They also never followed up or seemed to care how this is went, as opposed to Worldwide Adventures who I used for my Tanzanian trip later.
