Great trip, good in a group if you are unsure of any areas....would recommend G Adventures to friends without a doubt! Guide knew the areas very well, gave good tips and hints whenever we went anywhere.

Everything that was G's control was good to great. The less than perfect scores had to do with forces outside of Gadventures per view. Very important that you try and touch bases with who you are traveling with before hand (the watering hole is a great tool) it only serves to help you, you are going to be together for close to month. Ok, with that being said let's move on to the good stuff. Definitely got to see A LOT of Vietnam in this tour. Everything from bustling Saigon to peaceful and calm Hoi An. Food is amazing, sights are astonishing and people are friendly. While the stay in Cambodia is shorter you do feel like you have a stronger sense of Cambodian history and culture by the end of the trip (speaking for myself). Feels like you get more in depth with Cambodia while you cover more physical ground in Vietnam. That is in no way discounting this trip. It was more than worth the price I paid. A word on luggage, this was DEFINITELY a backpacking trip. No rolling duffle, no small cute suite cases. Do yourself a favor and get a backpack suitable for a moderately long hiking trip. You also want to bring a smaller day pack for day trips. Irons are not readily available so don't bring anything that requires ironing. You will be moving around a lot so think about that while you are packing. Great trip, will probably do pieces of it again.
