Responsibilities:

Assist in brainstorming, planning and creation of Website enhancements/ relaunches, A/B tests, XML feed updates, API changes and much more. Depending on your skill level and engagement you will be assigned to projects and will hold responsibilities thereof. 

Requirements:

Candidate must have good verbal and written English communication skills, with a sound understanding of and interest in web, advertising, marketing, social media and mobile. The perfect candidate has a profound understanding of HTML5, CSS3, PHP5, SQL/MySQL,JavaScript and jQuery. Experience with CodeIgniter, AJAX, Smarty and XML is greatly welcomed and knowledge of Facebook API, Google Plus API and Google Maps API is appreciated. 

Compensation:

Your salary is based on your experience and skill (starting from €1,800 per month).

Technical SEO Specialist

With a full in-house team including marketing, design, developers, customer support, SEM and SEO, there is huge potential for growth. We are currently looking for a Technical SEO Specialist who will actively contribute to a team that is making a big impact on the multi-day tour industry.

As a technical SEO specialist you will be responsible for ensuring the technical elements of the website are optimised, while working with other departments to ensure that any changes or projects will have a positive impact on organic traffic. The role incorporates hands on SEO work with a focus on analytical thinking. As SEO is a core element of the business, you will be exposed to working with other departments, particularly the product and development teams.

Our ideal candidate loves data and can think at scale, while still getting stuck into the details. You have experience in a similar role either in an agency or in-house position where you were exposed to working with development teams directly. You are are a true internet native, someone that is constantly searching and trawling the internet, experimenting with new ideas and techniques, learning new software is effortless, and the thought of hacking together information from various sources excites you. SEO has rapidly evolved over the last few years, and you have stayed on top of these changes through your hunger to learn about this industry.

  • Backlink mining and analysis of content / competitors
  • Website performance monitoring, analysis and optimisation
  • Monitoring and discovering changes to the website
  • Website Crawl Analysis incl meta data, internal linking etc
  • Ideas for finding new areas of organic traffic
  •    New landing pages and identifying relevant content
  •    Specifying new page ideas for development team
  •    Specifying new content / articles for writers
  • Completing tasks and ideas with an analytical mindset for organic traffic growth at scale
  • Assist other department projects to advise SEO best practice (marketing, product, design, development teams)

The role will consist of content creativity combined with a focus on analytical thinking. As SEO is a core element of the business, you will be exposed to working with other departments, particularly the product and marketing teams.


Our ideal candidate has an analytical mindset with a creative flair. You have experience in a similar role doing content marketing with a strong focus on SEO and making data based decisions. You are a true internet native with a passion for digital marketing, someone that understands what impact well written meta information will have on a page, you are able to effectively write page titles and descriptions as well as research and construct large pieces of content, and you constantly look back at previous content to see how it is performing, and make improvements where necessary. SEO and content marketing has rapidly evolved over the last few years, and you have stayed on top of these changes through your hunger to learn about the digital marketing industry.
