If so, TourRadar's Customer Support Team needs you!
What is TourRadar?
TourRadar is the No.1 place to compare and book group tours online. TourRadar is an online Marketplace that handles bookings for selected tour operators all over the world.
We are looking for a native English speaker to join our Vienna Customer Support Team. We need someone who's enthusiastic, sales orientated and customer-service focused to join our multinational team (12 nationalities!). The successful applicant will like working in a fast-paced environment, enjoy challenging work, relish working independently and most importantly loves to travel!
Challenges and opportunities of the job:
You must be able to work independently and enjoy working in a team atmosphere. Self-motivation is an asset. You will use all of your experience as a travel professional to help shape TourRadar as an online marketplace, in particular within our Customer Support team.
We encourage all our team to bring an open mind, new ideas and be able to communicate your thoughts with the entire team. The work will be challenging because the industry we work in is continuously evolving and we are pioneering many new things. You must be detail orientated and open to change - we can assure you, you won’t be bored!
The workplace is friendly, where we share a common open workspace and there are few formalities i.e no suits, no ties, but rather jeans and t-shirts - smiles are mandatory though :)
What can you expect?
Most of our bookings occur online, so you will be responsible for chatting with customers via instant messenger, email or by telephone, for customers who have either found a specific tour on TourRadar.com or are undecided between a number of options.
You will be tasked with making sure the customer’s questions are answered promptly and accurately, then encouraging them to book with us.
When you can’t find the answers you will need to think fast and be resourceful to find the right response. Naturally you will also have to deal with challenging customers, as well as handle booking cancellations, changes, payment issues, etc. Knowledge of tour operator booking systems is preferred.
We are offering a full time position, with the pay negotiated based on your experience. Other benefits include team building activities, free laughs and finally being able to join a team of international enthusiastic people who love their job (take care it is contagious!).
