The island of Sri Lanka is a cheap, colourful and unsophisticated destination.
The misty central highlands features ancient Buddhist temples, stunning scenery, and tea plantations galore with women in colourful saris picking tea. There are strong Dutch and British colonial influences, and interesting small seaside villages along the vast coastline. Wildlife enthusiasts should tour through Yala National Park where there’s a large population of leopards.
"This trip is great value for money and we stayed in some very nice accomodation. I think the trip has a few bugs to still work out but if you are happy going with the flow when things aren't perfect then I highly reccomend this trip."

"Hi, we're booked on this trip. It would be good to hear from others also booked on this trip this August? or to hear from people who have already travelled to Sri Lanka with explore!
We've just had our typhoid jabs and all have sore left arms!

"Hello. I believe there are four others on this trip, please get in contact if you are one of them.
I'm going to jump off the tour the day before it finishes and stay in Marissa to go blue whale watching for a few days. I would love you to join me.
I'll look forward to hearing from you.
Sarah"
