The well-organized trip started with great communications with our tour agent Long Pham. Long was super responsive with his emails before the trip, advising us on the e-visa process and money exchange tips. Upon arrival, Long kept messaging us (thru WhatsApp) so we always had someone at the airport and hotels to keep us informed of transfers, and to follow up if someone was running late. Long gave some solid food recommendations as well. Long even met me personally in Hanoi to say hello and to give me some gifts. The hotels (we upgraded one level) were top notch (Silk Path (Hanoi) Kin (HCMC) as the breakfasts had made to order stations (eggs and Pho) and had plenty of other stuff. We’ll gladly trust Long for our next trip through Realistic Asia!

Swastik was great to work with on designing a private tour on either side of a wedding we were attending in Delhi. When I made a mistake and booked a flight to Dharamshala, arriving in Amritsar, Karni was very accommodating and found us an excellent driver who could take us to Dharamshala and back. Our drivers were fabulous - taking great care of us all along the way! We even had dinner at our Driver‘s house in Jaipur. It was lovely to meet his family. The tour guides were very good as well - very entertaining and informative. We learned to tell the tour guides at the beginning of each day that we didn’t want to be taken to a showroom to buy anything. This was after a hard sale at a Kashmir rug store. We chose the four star hotel package and would recommend the upgrade to five star if you can swing it. For our 11 nights stay it would have cost us $450 per person more, but it would’ve been worth it to have cleaner hotels and in better locations. We would definitely tour with Swastik Tours again!!
Vignir was the best tour guide! He was our guide for both the 2 day and 3 day tours. He adjusted the tour for us according to the weather so that we all had the best experience. We saw so many sites in the 5 days. The glacier hike was our favorite! Iceland is such a beautiful country. We lucked out with the weather! We saw northern lights 3 of the nights. We made great friends with people on our tour. It was really an amazing trip! I would highly recommend Arctic Adventures. There was no worry about driving on snowy roads.
