What people love about 1-month+ India tours
- India South & North
The south was excellent, our guide Chandra Bose is very knowledgeable about his country, its history, and its traditions. He was extremely caring for each member, we felt safe at all times, he attended to all of us in all ways at every point on the tour. We felt we had a thorough knowledge of the South of India. The local guides were, also, very well informed and shared their knowledge with us The North was a different story with its highs and lows. We felt our guide was mediocre at best. The northern guide seemed bored, reluctantly answered questions, showed no enthusiasm, bordered on being rude, he comes across as aloof and arrogant.. Ignored the needs and necessary caring of the group members, insulting them by calling us CHILDREN! The guides in Bundi and Jaipur were very poor. They were not knowledgeable (the observatory guide said we should buy the book if we wanted to know anything!!) and we actually had to listen to guides from other tour companies to get an explanation. They rushed us through (actualy running in certain areas)! The city walking tours were useless, being rushed through and not able to enjoy the sights.
- North and South India Tour
Wonderful choices of destination , and often interesting and magical mid level accommodations. I absolutely loved the houseboat tour, desert night, and parts of Rajasthan. Well done and affordable. Packed with interest and magic.
- Historical India and Nepal
Great way to get around - however, accommodation always meet the standards and activities scheduled by tour operator.
