Nalin Fernando greeted us with flowers with a warm welcome. Our tour was very interesting and informative and more with Nalin’s additional knowledge of Sri Lanka. Eco Odyssey Of Sri LankaFrom start to finish this was an amazing experience. Tia introduced herself prior to the trip which I loved especially as a female solo traveler this was really reassuring. Tia was an amazing guide and you could tell she was passionate about the trip. I’d like to thank Tia for all the surprises throughout my birthday it was so unexpected but I’m so grateful for the effort put in. I also thought it was a really nice touch to do secret Santa and think this was a brilliant idea and a really lovely way to end the trip. Ian was so friendly when collecting me from the airport and made me feel very safe as this was my firth time visiting Sri Lanka. Ian was always there as a helping hand when hiking and making sure we were ok which was really appreciated. I also loved it when he did his song for each person and we had to guess who it was for. Ian also made me feel so special on my birthday from star to finish. His smile and passion to show his country is really refreshing to see. Chandra again had a smile on his face throughout the trip and was so helpful with our bags and keeping us safe. Chandra also helped decorate the bus for my birthday which again was so lovely of him to do. Nothing was a problem no matter how big or small the ask.
Best of Sri Lanka - Feel Free TravelThis was my first time to the Asian part of the globe and the experience was made so wonderful by capital tours and our guide Udara! I had so many questions pretrip, and they were patient and answered each promptly and politely. Upon arrival, we were well taken care of. Most of our hotels were outstanding. The service was great and the Sri Lanka people are the most welcoming people I have ever met! Although going to one tourist place after another is not the best way to know a country, it is the only way for two middle aged women to feel safe and taken care of. We enjoyed learning about culture and religion. We loved the cooking lesson and the hiking. There was so much beauty all around us! We have told all our friends of our excellent experience. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer.
