Nalin Fernando greeted us with flowers with a warm welcome. Our tour was very interesting and informative and more with Nalin’s additional knowledge of Sri Lanka. He made sure we didn’t miss anything important and kept us on schedule with a smile. We loved his sense of humor and his flexibility with our requests. We will be sharing his name with friends from Canada as well as our Travel agent at home so others may experience the country with Nalin Fernando. We loved the trip and he made it memorable! Thank you from Canada!!

If you’re sitting on the fence about doing a group tour or going to Sri Lanka, kick that fence to the ground. Indy Escapes does an AMAZING job of blending the perfect itinerary of activity, adventure, leisure and most importantly, community. Lucas runs his groups so smoothly, prioritizing the safety and care of all his travelers. Sri Lanka’s beauty is showcased over several different towns with a nice pace of organized events and free time. An excellent addition to the Indy team, James, also joined our tour and helped with coordinating and bringing the vibes. I’d highly recommend Indy Escapes to anyone seeking adventure and community throughout cultures!

From start to finish this was an amazing experience. Tia introduced herself prior to the trip which I loved especially as a female solo traveler this was really reassuring. Tia was an amazing guide and you could tell she was passionate about the trip. I’d like to thank Tia for all the surprises throughout my birthday it was so unexpected but I’m so grateful for the effort put in. I also thought it was a really nice touch to do secret Santa and think this was a brilliant idea and a really lovely way to end the trip. Ian was so friendly when collecting me from the airport and made me feel very safe as this was my firth time visiting Sri Lanka. Ian was always there as a helping hand when hiking and making sure we were ok which was really appreciated. I also loved it when he did his song for each person and we had to guess who it was for. Ian also made me feel so special on my birthday from star to finish. His smile and passion to show his country is really refreshing to see. Chandra again had a smile on his face throughout the trip and was so helpful with our bags and keeping us safe. Chandra also helped decorate the bus for my birthday which again was so lovely of him to do. Nothing was a problem no matter how big or small the ask.
