The trip was amazing and recommended, but for future travelers, we recommend the following changes to the itinerary. 1. On the day you travel from Manila to Bohol, instead of going in three different cars, a flight to Cebu and a Ferry, you should just take a flight from Manila to Bohol airport, which is just 15 min from Bohol South Beach resort. 2. On the day you travel from Dumaguete to Cebu, you should stop at the falls, and spend a night in Moalboal (instead of Cebu), the next morning you should do the island hopping and after that drive to Cebu for 2 nights. That arrangement will save about 7 hours of travel on the day you go to Bohol and another 7 hours driving on the day you travel from Cebu to the falls.

Great and beautiful hotels. Was designed to be a relaxing, mostly beach resort vacation and tour and filled the bill. There were 5 hotels, 3 plane trips, 1 boat ferry and many pickups planned along the way. This was my first trip to the Philippines and the assortment of activities led to many interactions with Philippine people - this was desired and enjoyable. The Philippine people seemed happy, hard working, and expert at hospitality. I was the only traveler on this 9 day tour but had sufficient time to establish my own rhythm on this trip

What our customers ask about Private Tours & Trips in Philippines
What unique experiences can I expect on a Private tour in the Philippines?
Private tours in the Philippines let you explore places at your own pace with dedicated guides. You can take exclusive island hopping trips through El Nido's lagoons or join bamboo bike tours in Manila's historic Intramuros district. Some tours include visits to natural wonders like the Chocolate Hills in Bohol. Accommodations range from the modern Four Points by Sheraton in Palawan to boutique hotels like The Funny Lion in El Nido. A TourRadar traveler shared: "Having a private guide made the Underground River tour so much more intimate and informative."
What are the most popular destinations covered in Philippines Private tours?
The main stops on private Philippine tours include El Nido Bohol Panglao Island and Cebu City. El Nido's itineraries feature the clear lagoons and beaches of Seven Commandos and Simizu Island. In Bohol visitors can see the Chocolate Hills and rare tarsiers in their sanctuaries. Cebu offers cultural sites like the Basilica del Santo Niño and Taoist Temple while Panglao Island is known for diving at Alona Beach. As one TourRadar traveler noted, "The islands and beaches were absolutely gorgeous, especially El Nido with its stunning lagoons and limestone cliffs."
What's the ideal duration for a Private tour in Philippines?
Most private tours in the Philippines run between 5 and 15 days with 8-9 days being the sweet spot for seeing multiple islands. An 8-day Manila Bohol & Panglao trip gives enough time at each stop while a 5-day Palawan tour focuses on El Nido and Puerto Princesa. According to a TourRadar traveler "Eight days was perfect to experience both culture and beach time though I could have easily stayed longer in places like El Nido." Accommodations include stays at Solea Coast Resort Panglao and Hue Hotels Boracay.
When is the best time to book a Private tour in the Philippines?
The dry season from December to May offers the best conditions with February to April being ideal for activities like island-hopping in El Nido swimming at Kawasan Falls and exploring Bohol's Chocolate Hills. Properties like 1898 Hotel Colonia En Las Filipinas welcome guests year-round but see peak bookings in February and March. A TourRadar traveler reports: "We went in March and had perfect weather for all our activities especially the island-hopping tours in El Nido."
What's included in the meal plans for Philippines Private tours?
Most tours include daily breakfasts at partner hotels like Lex Hotel Cebu and Savoy Hotel Manila. Select lunches come with activities such as island-hopping tours and the Loboc River Cruise. The Palawan Getaway for example provides 4-5 breakfasts and 2-3 lunches featuring local Filipino dishes and fresh seafood. Dietary needs including vegetarian vegan and halal can be met. One TourRadar traveler noted, "The included meals were excellent especially the fresh seafood lunches during island-hopping tours."
What level of accommodations can I expect on Philippines Private tours?
The tours use mainly 4-5 star properties such as Bluewater Panglao in Bohol and The Funny Lion in El Nido. Most hotels offer direct beach access premium facilities and personal service. A TourRadar traveler praised: "The accommodations were exceptional especially the beachfront resort in Boracay with its stunning ocean views."
