England Coach / Bus Tour Reviews
- Heart of England
The Heart of England I see a previous review and I whole heartedly agree. The best part of our trip. Felt rested and did not get tired like I did when we were sightseeing in London. Helen Pointer was absolutely amazing. She was very enthusiastic, knowledgeable and very hands on. She made our trip. Backroads is lucky to have her. What a amazing driver she is too. This was our first time doing this kind of trip as we usually go on our own and weren't sure if we would like a group trip. We were thrilled. The members of our trip were great, mostly Austrailians, we are Canadian and one more single Canadian. What a group. Will think back very fondly on this trip. Enjoyed everywhere we went, the food was good and liked our accommodations. Would recommend this trip and would do a Back-Roads tour again.

LONDON EXCURSION: definitely a 5 star tour! Everything worked seamlessly. Our guide, Tony Perry, was friendly and accommodating. Our hotel was on the corner of Hyde Park, the tube station, and great shopping. We were busy every day, and had plenty of time for our own individual excursions of shopping, restaurants, museums, religious worship, and fine theater. All of the sights were interesting and varied, and we had no need to drive. Unqualified recommendation!
- London & Country
Wonderful trip! Fun places to visit with nice, friendly people.
What our customers ask about Bus Tours in England
What's the typical daily schedule like on a coach tour in England?
England coach tours run from 8:00-9:00 AM to 5:00-6:00 PM with designated stops at major attractions throughout the day. Visitors can expect to see 2-3 key sites daily such as Windsor Castle, Bath's Roman ruins or York Minster with rest breaks scheduled every few hours. The Lake District portion for instance includes a morning boat trip on Lake Windermere a stop at Wordsworth's grave in Grasmere and an afternoon steam train journey. After the day's touring guests have free time to explore or join optional activities. Accommodations are often at distinctive properties like the Castle Hotel Windsor. One TourRadar traveler noted: "Our guide Greg and driver Sid were excellent. We would have liked more time at some destinations as we were quite rushed sometimes."
