We travelled from Calgary to Banff on this 8 day trip and had an excellent guide. Everything was well organized from the lodging to the food to the activities. There were great travelers in our small group and we made new friends that will last a life time. Just do it! We recommend Tours of Distinction to everyone and have been telling all our friends since getting home.

Truly stunning mountain scenery through the Rockies to Vancouver with guest appearances from bears, elk, eagles and gophers! A well paced and organised trip led by an excellent guide Sibylle. Travelling in style on the Rocky Mountaineer was a memorable experience, even though we were in Silver Leaf. A class operation. A minor gripe that there was so little time at the end of the tour in Vancouver and Vancouver Island, luckily we added a couple of extra nights in Vancouver to explore the city.

Took the Cosmos Canadian Train Odyssey tour in Sept 2016. What an incredible experience. A very quick tour of Toronto (too quick, too rushed) and Niagara Falls, then whisked away to the train station that evening. Cabins are cozy (read: small), comfortable beds, service staff were excellent. Food...remarkable!!! Wow it was fine dining plus! Exquisite. Lots of scenery, different each day. Sleeping was a challenge but didn't matter, was such a great time, and met so many of our fellow passengers, everyone connected. Our tour director, Scott, was just fabulous, helpful, social, kind, could not do enough for us, and made sure we were all having a terrific time. So knowledgeable, when you think of how BIG Canada is,and he knows so much information from end to end, it's simply incredible. Arriving in the mountains at the end of our train journey was nothing less than breathtaking. Apparently Scott worked his magic and we had the most amazing weather, he said we were extremely fortunately. The mountains were snow capped due to recent snowfall, clear blue skies, water like glass on our boat ride, and the coach ride through the icefields parkway was indescribably beautiful. What a day. Banff was so quaint I wish we could have stayed a couple of days longer. Very long travel through the mountains to the coast, but worth every minute when we arrived in Victoria BC. Remarkable city, very victorian, beautiful harbour, so much to see and do on foot, I also wished for another day or two here. Next we were whisked off to Vancouver for our final days. Over half the people took the cruise afterward, which was fantastic because we now knew so many people on board. I only wish that the final dinner was included so everyone could celebrate the end of the wonderful trip together as we sailed around Vancouver harbour at night. The last night, we even grabbed Scott and took him for a thank you drink at the hotel lounge to say thanks for a most amazing travel experience. Such great memories!
