The trail from Spieljoch leads to Gart Alm and Loassattel, passing through alpine pastures to reach the glacial Sidanjoch Pass and Rastkogel Hut with Karwendel Mountain views. You'll cross Ice Age-shaped terrain at Melchboden with small mountain lakes, then descend via the Zillertal High Alpine Road past Schlegeis Reservoir dam into the Pfitschtal Valley.
