Would have love to spend a bit more time in Phuket to explore a bit more but the itinerary was so good.

She has a genuine connection with the locals, families and the animals that we regularly encountered on our trip and it would be difficult to imagine discovering this place with any other tour leader.

The activities that Into Travel have planned are all planned and organised professionally from tour guides to surf instructors, all of which are happy and friendly and full of information.
The accommodation in Kuta is average but that is the only negative I can say about it, but that is only because all of the other accommodation you will stay at are brilliant.
The meals that are provided are good and the restaurants we went to for lunches and evening meals were excellent so can’t complain regarding the food that was provided. No Bali Belly!!!
Emma our Group Leader was brilliant, always willing to help, assist where she could, provide knowledge of the local culture and it was great to see she joins in with most of the activities while still trying to take the perfect photo of you. Her heart is in the right place when it comes to conservation and animal wellbeing, which is lacking in some areas of Bali. Don’t have a bad word to say about her, by the end of the tour she became a friend rather than a “Group Leader”.
I had the most wonderful time in Bali, and the tour leader Emma was a huge part of this. She was endlessly encouraging, enthusiastic and understanding. 12 days of pure adventure. The itinerary had been carefully chosen to allow us to enjoy a mixture of activities whilst still being able to relax. As we had a larger group it was difficult at times to integrate everyone. At times some people felt left out. This put unnecessary pressure on the group. However Emma and Michaela did an amazing job of making everyone feel welcome. I can honestly say Emma is the nicest person I have met to date and Michaela felt like an old friend. Whilst making us feel welcome they also worked hard at their jobs, making our trip as seemless as possible. If I could do Balintro again I would. Thank you for everything.

The trip is so well put together, seeing things that would take months to plan if I had of organised it myself. I was able to do so many activities, visit local home-stays, experience the best places for both culture and night life. Hidden gems were frequently thrown into the mix that a regular person just would not know about if they'd organise it themselves.
All the accommodation was brilliant, the Villa in Lovina was one of the most incredible places I've ever stayed.
Couldn't recommend this tour, or the company enough.

The accommodation was better than I expected and one of my highlights was the home stay, visiting a Balinese family and the Volcano trek. Definitely recommend this tour!

There are activities for everyone and you are not pushed into doing something you don’t want to do. My favourite day was the dolphin, snorkelling, homestay and villa day. The homestay was great and I think it’s amazing how Intro Travel have supported the family to provide a better life for them. I also enjoyed the monkey forest, getting a monkey selfie for the instagram was achieved. The accommodation was average, I think in some places like Gili T and Ubud it should be upgraded. Bali is a great place to travel alone, I felt safe here because everyone is so friendly. I had a really good time, made amazing memories and friends for life. Thank you Emma for showing me Bali, I think you are a lovely person inside and out.

The Trip:
I really enjoyed the Sky Garden night out, after a few games of beer pong and a game of Irish snap the fun atmosphere of sky garden was needed after our 18hr flight the day before. Caangu was fantastic but I wished we could have stayed there for a few more nights to really experience that beautiful place. The villa in lovina was soooo chill and a nice break in the middle of our tour, we really felt rejuvenated after the 2 night stop there. After that we had a lovely time on Gill T where we partied and had the best time ever. Another one of my favourite things was the volcano walk which was such a good way to wake up and start your day and the views from the top at sunrise really took my breath away. I would 100% tell anybody to do the 12 day intro just so you can do the volcano walk and UBUD - the 12 day is really worth the extra money and time! Overall, the BaliIntro was great but what really made is was our amazing group and Emma our lovely Intro Leader!! #TEEJABS ❤️

The trip included even more stops/sights than described in the itinerary. Our tour guide was nice and enthusiastic. Equipment provided - such as torchlights or bikes - were insufficiant/broken.

What made our tour was our Guide Emma! She was fabulous and went out of her way to make sure everyone was having fun. I highly recommend this tour, you will make some fab friends and memories!

Our tour was led by Emma and her generosity, energy and friendliness really helped the group bond. Her constant enthusiasm, knowledge and spirit made our Bali Intro experience an adventure to remember.
From day one, right through to the sad goodbyes and farewells at the end, Emma was there for myself and the rest of the group. A smiling, happy face and confidant who tirelessly goes above and beyond to ensure you have an amazing time.
Without group leaders like Emma you simply wouldn't get to experience the good times and laughter that I have. Feeding monkeys, swimming with sea turtles, watching mesmerising sunrises and sunsets and more; wouldn't have been possible without Bali Intro and Emma.
Words can't describe the experience I've had. You'll have your breath taken away, be left speechless and never want to leave.

After having traveled a few times on my own in SE Asia, this was the 1st time I went on an organised group tour and Balintro was a great experience ! From beginning to the end you didn't need to worry about anything, our guides (Emma and Tom) had everything sorted out for us. Every day was packed with amazing activities while leaving some time to explore things on our own. One of the highlights definitely was swimming up close with a turtle on Gili Islands. The only drawback was the visit to the local family that didn't feel authentic at all. Accommodation was very basic (Kuta and Ubud) to very good (Canggu and Lovina). Special mention to our leader, Emma, who was such a lovely person. She was always there when needed, always made sure everyone was enjoying the trip and always spent time with us even after the "official" activities of the day were over. All in all an amazing experience I would do again in a heartbeat !

Villa accommodation, others were basic which was what you needed as you wouldn't be spending a lot of time in them. Overall an amazing trip!

Our tour guide Emma was all you could ask for from a leader, friendly, enthusiastic and always made sure everyones standards were met. We also had the added bonus of another tour guide Tom travelling with us which added to the experience. Good work peeps

The areas of bali visited were really nice and sometimes quite different. The only area i wish we had more guided time there was in changu as it seemed really chill and the meal we had there was really great so would of loved to of been able to explore more! The restaurants of choice in every area were Great, good choice of western and indonesion food on the menu at each place and the guides also had many recommendations for each restaurant. All the activities were well organised and no faffing when it came to getting to and from places. I was very impressed with basically all the days on the tour particularly the dolphin trip and the bike ride around gili although come the end of the 12 days you are quite tired so im glad i had a few days in bali afterwards to relax. All in all was a fantastic experience and would recommend to everyone.

Our group was lucky enough to have two wonderful leaders Emma and Tom. Emma was the head leader, she had so much knowledge of Bali and gave all the information we needed to make the trip run smoothly. Even though In charge she was more like a friend and a family member.

I felt homesick one night and she helped me a lot by chatting about other things to get my mind off it. She is very organized I never felt insecure about what was going on because I knew she had it under control. Everything went without a hitch in my 9 day tour. She even helped me organize my transport after the tour and was there for me when I needed her after. Also she is a dope dancer and super flexible so don't pay the pickup game with her, you'll lose

Emma has been fantastic throughout the whole trip, she's very caring & compassionate, chilled & worked so hard to ensure we all had a great time. Getting the boat to/from Gili T is mental & Emma prepared us for this & it was like a successful military operation! Loved it. It's crazy how much you can bond with people over 12 days & I would consider Emma not only our guide but also our friend! Thanks so much #yourvibeattractsyourtribe

Looking back, so much happened it all blurs into one. I loved experiencing all that Bali had to offer- I literally fell in love with Bali. Nothing I can say can compare to what the trip was- it was life- changing!!! I did things I never thought I could experience, with people I can call friends for life :)! Our tour guide Emma was totally amazing throughout the trip and I felt I was travelling with an extended family. She put all her efforts into making the trip special for all of us and you can see the passion she has for her job and Bali. There is so many highlights that I will never, ever forget this trip.
I 100% recommend anyone to do this trip!! Be brave and do it on your own or take a friend. You won't regret it!!!
It's worth every penny for all the activities, accommodation and transport. I got a lot more out of the trip than I expected I would. My group was like a big family and I enjoyed sharing my experience with them and Emma! :)

I went on the Bali intro tour that started on 29th June 2017. The trip exceeded my expectations and more. I couldn't have wished to share it with a better group of people. Emma our team leader was the absolute best and I met the most amazing bunch of people and made memories I will cherish forever!
This was so different to my typical type of holiday, we literally fitted so much in that I felt I was away for 2 months and not 2 weeks. I would recommend a tour for so many reasons, everything is organised so you can rest assured your seeing and doing the best of what there is to see and do as opposed to arriving somewhere and not having a clue where to start, all your transport is included and also there is that safety element of travelling in a group, then there is the fact that it really is a case of the more the merrier, meeting new people and making friends and memories is just an awesome experience.
Highlights for me were the dolphin trip, such a magical experience I am blessed to have had, the family home visit was amazing - the kindness these people extended was truly humbling, the nights spent in the villa with that epic view, amazing infinity pool and not to forget the hospitality of Su and his great food while we were there. Ubud was an amazing quirky little town and a coffee/art lover/ shopper's paradise (but please follow the advice and bring waterproofs and warm clothes for the volcano trek)
If your in any way shape or form in two minds about this type of a trip be it on your own or with a friend, definitely do it!

Bali is an amazing country, I have seen so much on this tour! The most amazing moment was the one on the boat with the dolphins. Such a magical moment!
I loved being with a Balinese family, the children were so cute!
This trip really changed my life. I'd love to go back to Bali and I'd love to meet my group again! We experienced this together so they will always be in my heart, just like everything in Bali.

Choosing Balintro was the best idea we have had!Everything is organised for you including transfers from the airport to your hotel. The experiences we had such as meeting a Balinese family and understanding their way of life to trekking up an active volcano to watch the sunrise was something we could never have imagined experiencing, and Balintro made it possible! Our group leader Emma was the most thoughtful, caring, kind-hearted person who did everything she possibly could to make our holiday memorable and enjoyable. The group we were with were amazing, I have made friends for life on this trip and they have made the trip what it was. I would highly recommend Balintro to anyone who is wanting to visit Bali, haven't been backpacking before or simply want to try something different compared to your average holiday. We are now looking forward to our next backpacking adventure and cant wait to get things booked, all because of our experience with Balintro!!

My best friend and myself just finished the 9 day Balintro tour last night. Can safely say it has been one of the best experiences of my life so far. Our tour leader, Emma, went above and beyond to ensure that the trip was as best as it could be. Particularly liked her quirky facts about the places we visited. We are already missing all of our group and cannot wait to look at all the photos. Although the accommodation wasn't 5 star luxury, it was filled with character and each one had a pool which was a real bonus. My personal favourite was the Lovina Villa which is one of the most beautiful properties I have ever seen! With balintro you are definitely getting your value for money. Although it would be nicer if a few more meals were included, however the guideline of $400 spending money is perfect. It is definitely a trip where you can make friends for life whether you are travelling alone or with a friend or partner. Recommend recommend recommend.
