The hotels and Nile cruise ship we stayed in were great - clean, comfortable, friendly and helpful staff, good food - nobody was going hungry- and catered for dietary requirements. They even made me a personalised birthday cake - yum!!
There were some early starts on this tour, but necessary and definitely worth it. The itinerary was jam packed full but still time to take in the wonders and awe of the sights around us. We had opportunities to learn about Egyptian perfumes, papyrus making and alabaster which were really interesting - especially learning to haggle!
Overall, we all had an amazing trip. Thank you, Tiger!

Our tour was 14 days and had 2 extra days which we also had another timeless tour with.
Picking us up at the airport was smooth and very easy. Definately get evisas before you arrive, it's a little time before to save a lot of time later.
Communication from start to finish was sensational and Hany was exceptional with prompt replies and made our experience a.wonderful exciting fun and easy time in Egypt. Definately recommend this company.

From the very start, Hany was responsive, answering all my pre-departure questions promptly. Once on the tour, Nabil aka Tiger brought ancient Egypt’s history to life with his extensive knowledge. He went above and beyond, ensuring our well-being when I needed a painkiller and my son fell ill. The staff at the airports also made our travels smooth and stress-free.
In Egypt, cruising on the Nile was pure bliss. Visiting Abu Simbel and standing before its towering monuments was awe-inspiring—it truly felt like stepping into history. Snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters of the Red Sea was a fabulous experience.
In Jordan, our guide Malek took us to the ancient city of Jerash where the ruins were nothing short of magnificent. Floating in the Dead Sea was a surreal experience. Watching the sunset in the stunning desert landscape of Wadi Rum was magical. The mosaic map of the Holy Land in Madaba was another impressive highlight.

I have travelled a lot over the years and encountered various guides - but I can honestly say, none of them compare to Nabil. His incredible knowledge of Egyptian history and all of the sights that we visited, was delivered with such passion, and humour. His love of the subject truly shone through....
Nabil couldn't do enough for us, and he guided us through an awe inspiring country with a gentle manner, making everythig about the trip clear and easy to understand, so that everything ran smoothly on what was quite a hectic scedule.
I cannot fault the tour or its wondeful guide in any way.

What made the trip was our amazing tour guide Nabil Shohdy (otherwise known as the Tiger). Nabil was an incredible your guide, he had so much knowledge of ancient Egypt, and was genuinely excited to share it with us all. His communication was very clear, and we all knew what to expect from our itinerary, day by day. He was also a very friendly and accommodating guide.

This was a magical experience that I will never forget. My tour guide, egyptologist, Nabil (AKA "TIGER"), was incredible. He has a vast knowledge of Egyptian history with a beautiful positive energy. He was always extremely communicative and informative. He made it easy to connect with my fellow group members. The group itself was comprised of like-minded people from all over the world, who are all AWESOME. I felt so comfortable with my group. We all looked out for each other and by the end of the trip, it felt like we knew each other for ages. The trip itinerary was perfect. We saw as much as we could in 10 days, which included a great great mix of activities complimenting themselves perfectly--visiting ancient Egyptian historical sites i.e. Pyramids/Giza, temples in Luxor and Aswan (don't miss Abu Simbel, it's a must see). Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor! Hot air ballooning in Luxor is a MUST DO! Snorkeling in the red sea at Hurgada, incredible! And finishing the trip with old Cairo and the market...with rice pudding with ice cream and Turkish coffee! Perfection.

During the tour itself, our guide was great and well read.
Moreover, the accommodations and transportation provided exceeded my expectations. Every hotel we stayed at was comfortable especially the hotel in Hurghada, and conveniently located, and the vehicles used for transportation were clean, and well-maintained.
Overall, I cannot recommend Timeless tours highly enough. Their dedication to customer satisfaction, combined with their expertise in crafting unforgettable travel experiences, sets them apart as a tour operator of the highest caliber. I have rated this tour “Good”, this is no reflection of “Tiger” he was Excellent. The rating of good is due to the river cruise where the ship was not ready for tour due to “refurbishing” which was not completed when we boarded. We will say that the staff on board were very attentive to our needs - the meals were so flavourful.

The newly renovated cruise ship provided a luxurious backdrop for our adventure, despite a few minor hiccups like a stubborn shower drain and occasional door alarms. However, our guides and the cruise staff did everything they could to quickly address these issues and made sure we had the best experience.
Every aspect of the tour, from exploring ancient temples to cruising along the Nile, was flawlessly orchestrated. We highly recommend Timeless Tours' Egypt experience and look forward to embarking on another unforgettable adventure with them in the future!

Hany answered all of my questions before the trip. We felt safe at each place we visited, with extra security put in place. Some mornings were early but we understood the need to get a jump start on a very full day of visiting the ancient sites. We really enjoyed the Nile Bride cruise ship. The food was really good. The optional excursions to Abu Simbel, hot air ballon ride and Alexandria were worth it! Take the flight to Cairo to Aswan, that was worth it too. Additionally I want to thank George T for the excellent end of our tour to Cairo and Alexandria. Highly recommend timeless tours and our awesome guide Nabil for making this a trip of a lifetime!!

What an amazing trip!! The wonderful team of timeless tours was there every step of the way to support us, keep us safe and bring us to our daily destinations. The hotels exceeded my expectations and the food was delicious. As for seeing the Egyptian history, I wish I had more time to enjoy each temple and historic location, as some days I felt rushed to take it all in. I also personally would have appreciated seeing more old Egyptian sites, to learn more of the history and to really integrate myself with how things were back then.
Thank you thank you thank you! I have no regrets and wish to come revisit when the new museum is open.

This tour was well organized and operated in a pace that is manageable for all age groups. The tour mixed astonishing experience along Nile River of ancient Egyptian history with needed physical recharging days at the top Red Sea resort, giving tourists a short break to continue the rest of the tour. Tour route was well designed. The tour guide with our group, Nubel (Tiger) is highly knowledgeable and experienced Egyptologist. His knowledge and narrative are superior and unmatched. We essentially treated thus tour as workshop of introductory Egyptology. We love the tour and the tour guide as well.

Be prepared to use a bidet on the cruise ship which I've never used before so that was an experience itself. Take as much pictures and videos you can, because it's a lot to take in and you don't want to forget those memories! The bus driver was very nice and sells 2 water bottles for $1 USD which come in handy. It was my birthday and Nabil had the restaurant do a birthday celebration for me. I am forever grateful for him getting that set up because it was so much fun. Overall the tour company is a good one to do your travels with in Egypt and friendly staff! Thank you!

The itinerary, although hectic, was well organised and run by the very friendly and professional bunch of guys from Timeless Tours. I was travelling alone and always felt secure and looked after. Two people stood out for me: The smiling and patient Abanob, who picked me up at the airport and even bought me a bottle of water with his own money because I didn't have Egyptian Pounds! ... and our tour leader Nabil, who kept our group together, juggled all our different needs and answered every question with tireless enthusiasm and patience. We felt in good hands and I wish the trip had been longer!

He gave us lots of tips about saving money, made stops when people needed ATMs or the pharmacy. He shielded us from a lot of the vendors, who can be incessant. Some of the younger ladies on our tour were harassed/stalked by a couple of Turkish guys at one hotel, and he helped to get them kicked out. Made us all feel very safe throughout the tour. After checking all recent reviews, we decided to book the Wonders of the Pharaoh tour. We have to admit that there are too many titles but the tours do look alike. We have to admit that there are too many titles but the tours do look alike. It didn’t completely meet our expectations. Once you book online the communication was only like an automated response. Accommodations - Average hotels and resort choices. We prepared ourselves that the 4/5 * would not match up with the ones in the UK. The Oasis in Giza needs major updates, repairs, and renovations. We arrived at 4 am and the room was not booked till 12 am, so with the help of our agent we manage to get an early booking at a cost. I would have expected the tour to have informed us about the early checking fees. The staffs were good but the rooms are very old. On the boat Symphony, the atmosphere was good, It was not wow but we were pleased with how the staff was looking after us. The food on the boat was well-varied. I have to admit that in our group there were more than 20 people and we were the only ones doing the Wonders of Pharaoh. Our Tour guide, Nabil, was very helpful and patient. Poor him he had to be reminded who is doing what in the itineraries - we got to tour the major destinations in Egypt. The bus was mostly comfortable. We needed to wake up at 3, or 4 am sometimes to get to our visit. I was not very happy that the plane ticket to fly to Aswan was changed to a later time because someone in the group did not want to wake up late, so this changed all the planning and got us and the guide tired. Things had to be rearranged, squeezed and rushed during some visits. I wish it was explained better during our interactions so when people booked they knew what they were opting for. Additional trips that were not mentioned are Timeless tours will take you to a Papyrus factory, alabaster factory and perfumery. Fair enough the company gets a commission from these sales, I would rather spend more time at the historic sights and being informed through the itinerary when the booking was done. Tour Guides - We had Nabil most of our 8 days tours, he was a knowledgeable Egyptologist and other people were very helpful. We had the pharaoh village in our package and I would have rather covered that the first day on our arrival rather than the last day.
Foodwise - There was always a buffet at each meal, pretty much the same menu every day with some variation. The food was nothing exceptional, neither was the service. There were some meals that we had to buy and we were taken to substandard restaurants for the price we paid. You pay for beverages in addition. Whenever we were leaving early we were given very standard pack food which I think could be improved as many went to waste. The tipping - The tipping on our itinerary sheet was different from what was asked there. We did not fuss but feel that the paperwork is not always reviewed. The prices for any additional are very high. A family in our group did several activities on their own and it cost them a fraction of the price quoted by Timeless. We were thinking of going again on another tour but we will have to do more research and think twice if this will be with Timeless. Tour Radar is a reputable name for travel and tours. They need to review who they are working with. We would say for the business to be successful, good communication, trust, and care play big roles between tourists and tour companies. Unfortunately, this has to be enhanced.

He has a true passion for ancient Egypt and the way he explains things is like listening to a captivating story. Nabil is professional but his warmth makes him still feel like a friend. He gave us tips on how to deal with locals when shopping as well as other need to know things. He really made sure our every need was fulfilled. The cruise on the Nile was spectacular, the food was great and the staff was top notch! I highly recommend doing the Abu Simbel and hot air balloon upgrades as well, those were highlights of the trip. The lodging in Hurghada and Cairo were both great! If you want to see a ton of Egypt with no stress this is the way!

Our guide Nabil's knowledge was invaluable and his patience with the group was amazing considering there was over 15 of us and some individuals would run late or wander off. He really made the trip for us so we want to start the review by saying a massive thank you to him and everything he did!!
The accommodations were better than we were expecting, of course there was a couple of things here and there but that was to be expected. Considering it was somewhere to sleep, it was fine and rooms felt clean. The Nile Cruise was the best part of the trip, the staff were great and facilities were all good. It's a lot to cram in so expect some early starts and to be travelling a fair bit, but if you're prepared for that, then it's really worth it.
We got to see so much and learnt a lot, and the logistics of getting everyone from a to b was done seamlessly and we never felt unsafe at any point and everything was explained to us far in advance to prepare.
We did the sleeper train, Abu Simbel and the hot air balloon as additional excursions and they were completely worth it! The sleeper train is dated, but for the experience, we loved it - not something we'd feel you'd be able to do anywhere else!
The only downside of the whole experience was the food situation, a lot of buffets everywhere we went, so you start to get bored of the same food, but that being said, with such a large group, it's unavoidable and we just stocked up on snacks where we could to tide us over, and planed in advance if we wanted to have a meal somewhere else (like the hotel in Hurghada - make sure you book at least a day in advance so you can have a change!).
It was great that tipping and entry fees were taken care of, it meant we were able to just get on with the trip and not worry about those aspects of things. There are a couple of stops thrown in - we went to a perfumery, papyrus shop and an Alabaster shop. We thought we'd find this a bit of a sales plug (Which they are), but actually, if you listen to the staff, you end up learning about Egyptian customs and we did end up purchasing a couple of bits which we felt were fairly priced and things we wouldn't of got our hands on elsewhere.
The itinerary is jam packed, but if you go with an open mind and understanding of what the tour is, you will have an incredible time - the fact you are seeing things that are over 4000 years old is quite hard to comprehend, and it is by far one of the best trips we've ever done and would highly recommend to others. We would book with this tour again as we felt completely taken care of and were able to show up and just embrace the experience and take it all in - Egypt is an incredible country and totally worth a visit!

Our tour of Jordan was disappointing as the group required a new tour guide as the original guide requested a new bus as he could smell smoke and wanted to take his 15-year son on tour with us. Lack of communication from company running this tour. We had to chase them for information. e.g., Time of pick up from hotel to airport. Tour guide Mutaz gave us a number to call as he stated he was starting a new tour the next day, now our problem. The new guide started his sessions before all the group were present meaning not all clients heard all the information.

Hurghada was lovely and I appreciated the slower pace inserted between busier schedules. Loved, loved the Nile Cruise!! Boat was charming and room so nice! I received great communication from tour operator prior to departure and from guides throughout the trip. Wonderful experience!!

In addition, on two of the days that were 'lunch not included' we were taken to restaurants where we were offered lunch for $10 USD. Our option was 1) take the deal 2) don't eat. There were no options for other restaurants, transport to other places, or instructions on alternatives. We were 'trapped' at tourist restaurants, which charged DOUBLE the normal Cairo price for a meal. This is unethical.

Our main guide Nabil was a great tour guide with a big heart, he was very knowledgeable, supportive and helpful, he listened to all our requests and did his best to ensure they are met.
A few practical tips you might find useful before traveling to Egypt:
1. Do pay extra and take the flight from Cairo to Aswan, the bus journey is 14 hours and wears you out already at the beginning of your tour! We took the flight which took app. 1 hour and went really smoothly.
2. We also went for Abu Simble in Aswan and the submarine in Hurghada, highly recommend both activities, both worth every penny (our balloon ride was unfortunately cancelled due to weather conditions).
3. They provide plenty of food during the whole journey, the quality is much better in Nile Cruise and Cairo's hotel than other places. Unfortunately not much you can do about it, unless bringing some snacks with you for those places. It would be amazing if the hotels in Hurghada increase the quality of their serving.
4. Save 10% extra costs for all the soft drinks which are not included in your tour in places like Nile Cruise and Cairo hotel.
5. The daily tours usually start quite early, we know this is common with every tour in Egypt from colleagues and friends traveling before us. Be prepared to wake up at 3 or 4 am most of the days. We are not early birds but managed to go through them all smoothly.
6. You will notice that tourism is one of the main, if not THE MAIN pillar of their economy, hence pandemic and global recession had a real toll on their economy. Due to this and some cultural behavior, most locals try to charge tourists as much as they can for any small shopping or service. Even if you don't do any shopping, you will notice that you will still pay much higher than a local for all soft drinks, lunches in restaurants, and tips, this can be anywhere between 5-10 times higher than local prices. I don't think there is any way out of this as this is considered a norm, going with a tour saves you quite some money as most of the meals, drinks and tips are already included. Listen to your tour guide's advice and you should be protected from extreme rip offs.
Regardless of all these, we had an amazing holiday in Egypt and are still in awe of what we saw in ancient ruins. Thank you Nabil, George and Botrous for making this happen.

Second, the GUIDE! Nabil was seriously the best guide I’ve had on any tour. He’s knowledgeable, patient, energetic (despite working long tedious hours), and honestly just the exact kind of person you want taking you around a place like Egypt. He was the reason myself and my female travel buddy felt safe and secure in an otherwise “unsafe” travel destination. If you do take this tour, you should really hope for Nabil. He is a certified Egyptologist who is a published author so he really knows everything. He’s a great teacher and you can tell he’s passionate about his work. Seriously, cannot commend him enough for the work he does.
Finally, I really enjoyed the free meals on the trip. I felt like I really ate well at all the destination points where meals were included. They were buffets and I was seriously surprised at the quality!
Now, for the criticism. Although we saw a lot of places, there was not nearly enough time. Egypt is one of the places that’s been on my forever bucket list and after coming along way (from Toronto), I feel like there wasn’t enough time to absorb and appreciate each place. We had maybe 30-60 minutes at some of the major highlights and I was deeply disappointed by that.
Another thing I thought could be better was the transportation. There were many days where we had to wake up in the middle of the night to take the bus to our next stop. I wish there was more options to take a faster way of travelling. I know a lot of people on the tour that had the same sentiment.
There should be options to upgrade at each place. I felt like the rooms at each hotel/cruise were so mediocre and I would have been happy to pay for an upgrade. This would be an example of “you get what you pay for”. Don’t expect fabulous sleeping accommodation because it is 3 stars at best. Except for the resort at Hurgada, this one was exceptional.
I also didn’t like the perfume and jewelry stops. It felt like a cash grab and a phoney way for locals to take advantage of tourists. It was nice to see some local shops, but the employees there were trying so hard to make sales, it was a little annoying to be followed around.
Finally, the amount of people in one tour group should be at a max of 20 or something. We had 37 in our group! I was lucky to have met a lot of great people on this tour but it was very chaotic at times due to the amount of people we were waiting on (people being late to the meeting point etc).
Overall, I really really enjoyed my experience and I mostly owe it to Nabil. He kept everyone safe and organized. For the structure of the trip, he did such a good job. If it wasn’t for Nabil, I’d probably give this tour a lesser-star review. If you’re looking for a budget friendly tour of Egypt’s highlights, this is for you. However, if you’re the type of person who doesn’t like to be rushed or prefer a more comfortable/higher end experience, I suggest you look elsewhere. There are some amazing things about this trip, but it really is not for everyone.
A few notes for the next traveller: the itinerary is out of date so expect to pay more for the options activities. You will get scammed at one point or another (everyone does), but do your best to bargain anyway. Tip and tip well! Even $1 USD/CAD goes along way.

However, I would recommend to pay extra to fly to Aswan. I took the night bus and it was horrible. The roads were really bad and overall it was a very bad experience. Not Timeless fault however, its how the roads are in Egypt. If I was to do the trip over again, I would definitely fly. The food ranged to ok (first and last resort) to very good (the Nile cruise). I certainly recommend Timeless to visit Egypt.

TourRadar was an excellent company to deal with. There were no surprises and the trip was everything they said it would be and more!!!! In short, look at other Egyptian Tours, very unorganised. Nabil was excellent though.

He even upgraded our hotel in Cairo to the Swiss Inn Golf Resort - which all 14 of us loved! Our tour guide, Nabil Shouhdy, was very knowledgeable about Egypt past and present. He always made us feel welcomed and safe everywhere we went. I recommend Timeless Tours and Nabil very highly!
Timeless Morocco was a great tour! We had a wonderful guide/driver. The cities visited and the experiences of the culture was just amazing. I just wish we had more time in Chefchaouen & Casablanca.
