About me:Hi, I am Christin, a Bilingual Travel Director. I am a passionate traveller and I’ve been pretty fortunate to travel all around Australia and beyond and call Sydney home. Sydney is my favourite city in the world without question and the beaches and Sydney Harbour take my breath away. As a Travel Director the greatest reward for me is to be able to experience everyday things as if for the first time with passengers. I find that everyone’s adventure is original. I like people who are enthused about things they do, like feeding kangaroos or climbing the Sydney Harbour Bridge. I like being with people who have things they’re excited about and I reckon everyone finds it here in Australia. I’ve met the most interesting people while working as a Travel Director. The travel industry seems to attract the kind of people I want to be with and it’s one of the great things about travel. Travel is more than the seeing of sights; it is a fulfillment of a dream for many and you find out how many good, kind people there are. When I had money in the past, I would always travel rather than spend it on an apartment or a car. And I still feel exactly the same way. I still do not own a car.

Very, very early starts and looooong hours on the bus left me exhausted. I expected a holiday but instead I got boot camp.

3 days is the correct description- not 5. ! Misrepresentation!! At no point was I advised that this tour was tacked on to a longer tour !

Certainly saw the highlights on what is really a quick look/see altho the time at Yulara was good. Initial background organising by AAT was poor (staff shortages?) but the staff on tour were excellent…Certainly saw the highlights on what is really a quick look/see altho the time at Yulara was good. Initial background organising by AAT was poor (staff shortages?) but the staff on tour were excellent. A few negatives, we felt there was excessive chatter especially re indigenous culture (probably ok for non Aussies tho). We were required to be at least double vaxed which is good but there was no requirement for a negative RAT test before starting; in hindsight this may have saved the loss of days on tour plus the expense of isolating in Darwin. Something for AAT to address.

We were extremely well looked after by both the guide, Christin, and the driver, Michael. The accommodaytion and the meals were first class even though many arrangements had to be made on the run beca…We were extremely well looked after by both the guide, Christin, and the driver, Michael. The accommodaytion and the meals were first class even though many arrangements had to be made on the run because of covid related staff shortages. Highlights were probably the evening Katherine Gorge cruise and swimming at waterfalls.
