Having done Bali and beyond to start with this part of the tour offered showed a much more rugged side to Indonesia. The boat trip was a highlight, a really unique experience being out at sea and sitt…Having done Bali and beyond to start with this part of the tour offered showed a much more rugged side to Indonesia. The boat trip was a highlight, a really unique experience being out at sea and sitting under the stars at night away from it all - would love to do this again. Some fab snorkelling opportunities too! Moyo island was also great at fun visiting the waterfalls and ‘sunset Moyo’ for a delicious lunch. I do think it would be worth mentioning we would get there via motorbikes in advance as it’s something I haven’t done before. The hotel at Sumbawa was nice but the food was pretty bad. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend this tour, Darrin was a great, easy going and inclusive host who made us all feel at home together!

Highlights were visiting Moyo island, staying on the liveaboard boat for two nights and seeing dolphins and manta rays, and visiting the dragons. The food on the boat was great and everyone was really lovely, and it was amazing to be in the middle of nowhere on the sea, it was so peaceful. The only let down for this week was the meals: there wasn’t much choice for the breakfasts in Lombok and what was there wasn’t good - we ended up venturing outside the hotel to find better options, and the meals we had in Sumbawa weren’t good at all! The accommodation in Sumbawa was also pretty basic which wasn’t a problem but I would have expected at least mosquito nets in the bedrooms for the amount of bugs and wildlife we found in our rooms.

It’s was a great mix of busy yet chilled. Darrin is great, super helpful with a great sense of humour and knowledgable. Visited some beautiful places and ate some fantastic food. Only thing that I wasn’t a fan of, were friends from outside truetravels joining us for activities. However I would definitely travel with Trutravels again. Would recomend this trip ALOT.

What a babe. This store has been one of the most unique places I’ve ever experienced in my life. I enjoyed every minute of the toilet. There in OC made his parents worthwhile, we made everyone feel welcome informed and he is just a total babe. I feel like I have made friends for life on this tour. We all had great vibes and memories which I will treasure for life. My favorite part about this tomorrow island hopper tour was the viewpoint hikes and swimming with manta rays. Also well and we always felt safe. She travels helped us prepare for the trip we’re always ready to answer any questions or concerns. When we arrive we were warmly welcomed by our, down. The activities were organize really well and everything ran smooth!Darrin was amazing with all of us and made us feel so at home. From making sure we always had the plans and keeping us on schedule to ensure he always had fun enjoying it in on everything with our group. Darren was the best tour guide we could have asked for. The itinerary for the trip was the perfect mix venture, exploring, relaxing and party. All the activities were definitely without the best. The added volcano track activity was one of the best experiences of my life. I would highly recommend it. I did this trip with a friend but you can also do it solo as the tour leader makes you feel welcome and involved at every moment of the tour. I would highly recommend Tru travels to anyone and also will be definitely doing a tree troubles touring again and hopefully have Darrin as my tour of the year.

Darrin has been incredible since he met up with us in Gilly T and hasn’t missed out on giving us as much info about each place we’ve visited whatsoever. He’s brought fun games and last two each of us along the way, especially while being out on the boat. Bringing some friendly competition to the group along the way. Our accommodations have been clean, and well organized at every location, along with all our transport. I’ve seen amazing views from this tour that I will always remember forever. I will be doing a Tru Travelers tour again

Just finished the body experience tour and had the most amazing time. All the hotels we stayed at her unique and had her own special attributes. The staff from these places were very helpful and made our experience all the better. Darrin was very friendly and helpful and made me feel safe and supported at all times.

The itinerary of the trip was absolutely great, the activities as well were so much fun during this ten-day Bali experience. Darrin, made sure to inform us of times activities and what to bring in each situation. He always gave us plenty of time to prepare for the next activity that was coming up the next day. We had a big group of 21 people but Darrin managed to make sure that everyone was having a good time safe and kept everything going for the entire tour.

For the price that me and my friend paid for the tour I was amazed at how much we achieve and saw throughout the 10 days. Darren as a tour guide has been awesome, has chilled and relaxed vibe has made us feel safe and comfortable in a new country, which allowed us to relax have all the fun. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who is considering Bali as a country to visit, I would recommend to book onto the tour to explore different islands.

This is the first tour I have done and I had no idea what to expect. This trip has been absolutely amazing and there were so many activities and a whole 10 day experience. I particularly enjoyed visiting the waterfalls at Moyo Island when in sumbawa and the activities when on the liveaboard- pink beach, padar view point and the Komodo dragons on Rinca.
Dom and Darrin were amazing tour leaders!! They are always full of energy, great craic and yet remained professional at all times! They really made this part of the tour memorable. Overall the 18 day Bali and Beyond tour was EPIC!! The activities, accommodation, itinerary and overall experience was well planned out and organized. I would recommend this tour to everyone especially the Komodo island hopper tour as I feel it would be difficult to travel without being part of a tour.

Our accommodation was a great standard along with our transport, everything was stress free and easy.

Dom and Darrin were great with my many injuries and money issues. Were very reassuring when I thought I had no money! Makes the tour so much better when the guides get involved in all activities.

I preferred the 10 day Bali experience more because there were places to visit which were very different. In this part of the tour you mostly spend time going somewhere rather then doing stuff.

Throughout the tour the leaders were extremely helpful making sure we were having a lot of fun along the way. Moyo Island was one of my favorite parts of the tour - Dom and Darrin were very informative and the waterfalls were amazing!
The overnight boat was a once in a lifetime experience - from snorkeling to seeing the Komodo dragons, it was a unforgettable time. I would 100% recommend this tour to others and I am excited to go on another tour in the future!

With that being said, I came to Indonesia with an open mind and learnt about food, culture, and partying. You also learn about people and of course learnt a lot about myself. The food has been great, the activities have been awesome – some were challenging for me but the tour leaders, Lish and Darrin, have been there with me at every turn. I would love to come back to Bali to do what I missed out on due to personal reasons. Overall experience is 11/10.

The accommodation in the 3 locations was just okay…in particular, the food was not as good as I would’ve liked (breakfast) and in Gili we needed more bedding than just a sheet. Also, the trek on foot from where the transport dropped us off in Ubud is really uncomfortable dragging luggage to Putri Ayu Cottages.
SNORKELLING WAS TOO DOPE! I repeat: SNORKELLING WAS TOO DOPE! The rice terraces were awesome as well. Lish and Darrin are great hosts! I recommend a reward for their patience throughout as it can’t be easy managed large groups of grownups. I love Bali. Thank you for the experience!

The tour itself was amazing an well planned. We went to so many locations and did some really great activities. Highlights are the quad biking on the sand dunes in Maui Ne, riding in open top jeeps along Hai Van Pass and the cooking class in Hue.

Darrin was a great tour guide. The first few days of the tour I was sick and he made sure I was fine an had everything I needed. As well as this he went above an beyond when it came to making sure we all got back to the hotels safely if we didn’t feel like partying. He also knew some of the hidden gems in many places.
I definitely recommend this tour and recommend Darrin as a tour guide.

My favorite place we visited was Hoi An but I enjoyed each of the other places as well An felt all the activities we amazing. I loved it all. The guides made sure everyday we were comfortable and cared for at all times and gave great advice. I wasn’t able to eat onions so they made sure that every meal I was always taking care of in that regrade. My favorite part about this trip was the the elephant sanctuary. I also liked the Erawan waterfalls. The atmosphere was great within the group, very fun an nice people. The guides were also so very helpful an dedicated to there jobs.

However as the tour went on, Patrick and Darin made sure we all came together as a group! They were amazing at sorting out any extra activities (I went scuba diving for 2 days!) and when some activitues got cancelled because of weather/other reasons they quickly sorted out alternatives. Despite some bad weather for the last few days of the trip it was an unbelievable holiday and the things I experienced will last me a lifetime :)
