Both were very organized and made things run smoothly. Both of these young men are so passionate about their jobs and it showed throughout the 16 days. Tommy and Arthur will tell you this is their dream job, and it certainly shows. They went above and beyond to be not just a guide, but a great travel partner. Tommy did everything for us from being our personal photographer, snorkel guide, drinking buddy, thai historian, and more. Arthur was the trips entertainment…we were always joking how boring solo traveling would be without him. He was always singing, dancing, and cracking jokes. Together these 2 make the perfect team, ensuring there is always something for everyone. Tommy will try and tell you his english is “okay”, but we quickly found out he’s only being humble. His was always concerned he’d say something wrong, showing us how kind and genuine he is. To travel with bilingual guides made the trip even more enjoyable because they were able to translate. For example, the boys found us a reputable tattoo parlour, and were able to negotiate a deal with the artists…something I would have never considered on my own. This trip is amazing on its own, but Tommy and Arthur made it THE BEST! I truly don’t think anyone could do it better.

They were very helpful in organizing anything I wanted to do outside of the tour. Including joing the your to Koh Tao. It was very easy to enjoy Thailand without having to worry about looking for accommodation/transport. Being told daily what we were doing and what we'd need for the activity, made it even easier to relax during the holiday. Thanks Tommy and Arthur for a wonderful tour of Thailand.

He always put us before himself and made the trip very enjoyable! Minty: minty was great to have on the tour! She had many stories about Thailand and was full of positive energy. Minty was also very friendly and joined in with lots of activities. Southern Thailand: Arthur: I really enjoyed being on the tour with Arthur. He was a very funny, friendly and happy tour guide. He always checked everyone was ok and helped with onwards travel. He also helped me find my bad when I left it somewhere which I appreciate!! Sonny: sonny was lovely on the tour. He was kind and always checked up on us. Sonny was thoughtful and very friendly. Overall the tour guides went above and beyond! And made the trip an incredible experience. I felt they were very knowledgable and I don’t have any complaints!

The reaps were great fun and also let their hair down with us and made us feel at home in such a different environment! I would like to thank Arthur, Mint, and Puna for being so brilliant and treating us all so well!

I have really enjoyed being apart of this tour group. The tour gave me the chance to experience a good variety of things over the week. The tour gave me the chance to experience a good variety of things over the week. It was great to see Bangkok (temples, nightlife, markets and the boat ride). It was then lovely to relax in Khao Sok, Bottle Beach and during the river cruise in Koh Pha-ngan on the last day. If I had travelled alone I would not of had the same experience. It was great to have all the activities organised so I could just turn up and enjoy. I was very lucky also to have 4 other solo female travellers in my group as I had worried they would be all couples or groups of friends. Arthur has been a great tour guide over the week. He helped with any questions or problems I had and he was always around if we needed him. He was also always there to take photos and send them to us. Arthur is a lot of fun and was always up for a laugh, including everyone, and making sure we were having a good time. The transport was great also, a taxi or minibus was always waiting for us when we finished an activity or wanted to go somewhere. The accommodation was generally well located (with walking distance to busy areas). I felt it could have been a bit cleaner (ants in my bedroom). However, when I told Arthur about this he immediately organised fo rme to change rooms which made me much happier. Overall I really enjoyed the whole experience and would recommend this trip to a friend. I look forward to travelling on another tour with TruTravels in the future.

Our tour guide arthur was lovely. He was always happy and looking to make sure we all had a good time and enjoyed ourself. We didn't have the easiest group at times as there was a lot of strong characters but he did everything he could to keep everyone happy.
The whole experience was amazing and I would deffinaly recommend doing this trip to anyone looking to travel alone

I think nab option to go to the international airports could be added at an additional to put a lot of travelers minds at ease
The tour itself was great! Lots to so and lots of down time. For the price I was happy, some of the accommodation was not very clean. Ie: khao sok, my bed had dust around it
However ince I notifirs Arthur about it, he had the issue rectified.
Arthur was great! Very informative and very passionate about his home country! We laughed a lot and had some great photos taken by him... he was also our personal photographer! Great banter and a beautiful person! I look forward to my next tour!

My favorites parts were khao sok and bottle beach both having an amazing scenery and offer everything for relaxing. The tour guide was also awesome and helping. Really recommend the tour!

The tour itself was the most amazing and fun experience I have ever been on. There was so much included in the itinerary, with a good mix of activities and free time. I would not have seen or done half of the activities/ sights if I had not been on the tour. Arthur was such a great tour guide. He was very informative, fun and entertaining throughout the whole trip. He was very chilled out and gave us time at each location to do what we wanted. Arthur was always around if we had any questions, and also took some great photos of us! He was a laugh to be around and felt just like being with a friend. The tour was such a great and positive experience. We were a small group of 4 people, but we all bonded and got on really well. Going on this tour took the off the pressure of arrange accommodation, transport etc myself with put me at ease as this was my first trip travelling alone. There was a good mix of activities to suit all tastes. My favourite experience was the elephant sanctuary and the bamboo rafting in Chiang Mai. My favourite area we visited was Pai which was such a cool and chilled out town. I would love to do another tour with Tru Travels to the Philippines. I would defiantly recommend a Tru Travels your to my friends, as I feel it is such a great way to explore the country whilst feeling safe. The experience would not have been the same without our tour guide Arthur.

Second of all I want to mention my tour guide Arthur we he was a big part of making my experience as good as it was. It was refreshing to see a tour guide as passionate and hardworking as he was. Right from the start of the tour with the floating markets all the way to the last he would teach us the history of every location we visited which ultimately made the trip much more worthwhile. It was easy to tell he was doing a lot of work outside of seeing the group. Charismatic and funny he excelled in his role as our tour guide, not to mention his English being very good making it a much more pleasant experience! Also his approachable manner made it easy to ask any question which helped me settle down fast, great guy.

In addition, to this emails were frequently sent closer towards the time of departure which was comforting and informing! The itinerary is full of amazing activities so we were experiencing new culture everyday which is what you want when travelling/backpacking. The tour leader, Arthur, was energetic and fun when teaching us all about Thailand and the activities we completed! There was never a dull moment throughout the two weeks!
I would definitely recommend TruTravels to my friends and family as the whole experience has been enjoyable from the start with many memorable moments which I will never forget! Thank you to Arthur fornmaking the trip that extra special!

I had an amazing time with the Thailand Full Moon Island Hopper. The tour guides Arthur, Papsii, Mickey and Pop took very good care of us. They made sure we get the best places around. They made sure we get the best places around. I loved the flexibility of the tour. The group was also really great. A lot of different characters, but we got along very well. The best parts of the tour to me were getting drunk at the floating bungalows at Khao Sok and the boat trip around the Phi Phi islands. Hanging around with monkeys, snorkeling at the most beautiful bay and partying on the boat. This is an experience I will always remember and I'll totally miss Arthur's shoulder massages.

I absolutely loved every minute of our tour and I would say so much of that is down to how enthusiastic, friendly, fun and kind our tour guide was. By far the best tour group ever! I had high expectations for the trip, however they were exceeded as both the tour guides were fabulous and there for you 100%. Arthur and Mickey were so much fun, like…By far the best tour group ever! I had high expectations for the trip, however they were exceeded as both the tour guides were fabulous and there for you 100%. Arthur and Mickey were so much fun, like good friends but looked after us when we needed it. For example when I left my bag on the Koh Phangan boat trip, Mickey went above and beyond to get it back, even on the morning of us departing from some of the group. Mickey always made sure we received all the information about each accommodation so we felt alert and comfortable. When joining the next group, Arthur made us feel like family straight away. And WOW ! What an amazing group of people, definitely made some friends for life. I loved how organised the transport was, one less thing to worry about, all the activities were included in the price which made the trip VERY good value for money. My favourite snorkeling trip was in Phi Phi, seeing tons of parrot fish and even some clown fish (definitely Nemo). Khao Sok - another highlight, so secluded just like paradise. I can't recommend TruTravels more and will surely book with them again, thank you for completing my Thailand experience ! Not to mention Arthur's massages... 10/10. Love you long time!

The tour was brilliant and we saw so many different places and met lots of different people. Arthur and Papsi were fun, caring and made the tour fantastic. My favourite place was Bottle Beach which was a secluded beach resort... paradise. Moreover, the tour included so many activities, like kayaking and boat-trips, which made it all the more fun. While there are many parties/bars/an awesome pub-crawl, there is also time to chill on this tour - which was so nice. I never ever felt pressurized by anyone to have to do something - but there was always stuff to do and to see. We will all miss Arthur, our tour guide. He was born for this job, and I cannot recommend this trip enough! Thank you Arthur hunny!

The best 2 weeks with TruTravels, wasn't sure what to expect but have been taken aback by how much fun we have had. There hasn't been a day where we haven't done a genuinely interesting or fun activity and the experience was really made by how amazing both guides were. By the end of the trip Mickey and Arthur feel like good friends not just guides, and they go above and beyond to make sure you feel included and happy and have the best time. Mickey had us feeling comfortable and laughing from the first day and Arthur's positivity was infectious. Pop the intern was also lovely and always more than willing to help. We were slightly nervous to merge with the 2nd group but Arthur made us feel like part of the family straight away. I really enjoyed how sociable the tour was, especially the second week. The partying was so much fun however I can see how for someone not so interested in going out they may feel a bit left out. This wasn't an issue for me personally and I loved going out as a "TruTravels family" however I'm not sure how clear it is made on the itinerary. All of the accommodation was faultless and I particularly enjoyed the boat trips around the islands. I would 100% recommend the company and tour to any of my friends and want to thank all 3 guides for the best 2 weeks + best memories <3

I have had the most amazing two weeks, we have done so many fun things, the Slip'n'Fly, staying in floating bungalows, the full moon party, etc... This was my first time travelling without parents and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Everyday was an absolute blast and it was great to see this beautiful country in a short amount of time. Seriously I owe Trutravels and the guides for giving me the best two weeks of my entire life! We had such a great time and met so many amazing people and learned/saw so much. I'm so sad to be leaving the tour but I will be band and will keep in touch.
So for now... "WHAT DA HELL"! This tour was absolutely amazing and all the activities were so much fun. I LOVE YOU LONG TIME THAI TIME

The itinerary was changed slightly but this was to help us around a national holiday which was very well planned and we all appreciated the change ! We were kept well informed all throughout the trip and I would recommend Tru Travels for anyone looking to do a group tour. ** I feel 3 nights in Koh Phangan would of been enough --> and another night either in Bottle Beach or Koh Tao would of been nicer. The group was great, a lot different characters but we got along really well. The best parts of the tour were getting drunk at the floating bungalows at Khao Sok and the boat trip around Phi Phi islands. Hanging around with monkeys, snorkelling at the most beautiful bay and partying on the boat.
This is an experience I will always remember and I will totally miss Arthur's shoulder massages haha

I mean maybe but our tour guides made my trip. I can't say enough good things about this tour. TruTravels is amazing. My cousin recommended this tour for my friend and I and I do not regret it. I hope that TruTravels continues on what they are doing b/c it is the best experience. All the accommodations that we stayed at were really cool. I'm also so happy about the different islands we stayed at! I thought that that was the best way to experience Thailand b/c it is just so big. Everywhere we went was literally paradise! All of the activities that we did were surreal. It literally was a trip of a lifetime and I really don't want to leave. I thought that the swinging bungalows and pub crawl were so amazing. The boat trips around the various islands were also stunning. I thought the itinerary was well laid out and we had a good amount of time in each place.
Our guides Arthur and Whisky were excellent. They were a constant support throughout and you could always rely on them whenever you had any questions or problems. They were very organised with arranging transport and giving any information we needed, which made the trip completely stress free. Overall they were a huge factor in making the trip so special for everyone involved.
Arthur is a great tour guide and would recommend him to anyone. The North Thailand tour is a great way to get to know Thailand.

The last minute move from Chiang Mai to Bangkok due to the pollution was handled so efficiently and professionally by both Arthur and the TruTravels team, and the new activity at Siam theme/water park was an incredible substitute to the previous itinerary. What a fantastic adventure I have had! Arthur, Mickey, and Mix were fantastic tour guides and every day was filled with fun, culture, and new experiences. This tour had a really good mix of history/culture (such as visiting temples and ruins) alongside adrenaline rushes and adventures (such as ziplining and swimming in waterfalls). I was in a group with seven other people and it has been great fun making friends along the way!
As a solo traveller I was keen to have new experiences and independence whilst being within the safety of a tour setting. This tour provided this and I feel it has given me everything I was looking for. I felt really safe, but at the same time felt that I could use my own autonomy if I wanted to do extra activities along the way.
What made the trip the most special was the tour guides. Their enthusiasm and good humour was fantastic fun, and they were really knowledgeable about everything we did during the trip. It wouldn't have been the same without their energy and pure happiness! They also provided lots of information before hand and along the way, and so we always felt confident about what to expect each day (and what to take with us!).
An additional note on weather: I had been worried about September being the rainy season in Thailand. If you are thinking of booking this tour at this time of year then don't worry - it is still boiling hot, and when it rains it is very short lived and is not often at all!
I want to say a massive thank you for a great experience. My favourite day was with the elephants! To anyone out there considering this tour I would tell you to book it now! I was scared to do so at first but I am so, so, so glad I did.

I loved all the activities we did and that they fit so much in one day while still giving us free time and not spreading any stress at all. I especially liked visiting the temples and learning about Buddhism. Also, I liked all our trips into the nature, especially the elephant sanctuary and the two-day jungle trek to the lovely village. What’s really important. I always felt in good hands and safe and if I have any questions or concerns, the tour guides took me serious and always helped me well.

I really enjoyed the boat/snorkelling trip in Koh Tao and the cooking class was great but the rest of all the other destinations were also just as great/fun. it was a pity that the weather did dampen some of our activities but the guides did a really good job of helping to cover up the activities. Having said that, my overall experience was positive:)

Arthur as a tour guide, we couldn’t have asked for anymore! His English was amazing and really joined in with all the jokes making us feel like one big family! We had a small incident during our tour and it was handled extremely well and smoothly by the company and Arthur himself, if Tru Travels hadn’t of been there things could have been very different.
Throughout the tour there was never a dull moment, everyday was filled with a fun activity or experience. Even on chill days we had the option to do something if we wanted!
I couldn’t recommend this tour anymore, would definitely do another tru travels tour!
