Overall the trip has been a really great experience, as someone who has never really travelled by myself before it was nice to be met by such welcoming people. The night life in Thailand is amazing and Bangkok was an incredible start. There's so much to see and it was a good group experience. The temples were beautiful and definitely something I'll never forget. Khao Sok was something breathtaking, I really enjoyed being in such a remote place. The rings and Changs were like something out of a dream and I'll never forget what was the most chaotic kayak trip ever. My favourite event was either the Full Moon Party or the Pub Crawl in Koh Tao. They are both nights I can't and won't forget. Why would I want to ?

It's been an incredible trip. Pompom was outstanding. I highly rate him. He had loads of knowledge while also been a good laugh. I'd happily have him as a tour guide again.

Before I arrived I did not know what to expect and it was a very last minute decision so had little time to prepare. The organisation to get me to the hotel was great and I was happily greeted by Pomp…Before I arrived I did not know what to expect and it was a very last minute decision so had little time to prepare. The organisation to get me to the hotel was great and I was happily greeted by Pompom. The first night was greatly organised and helped us bond together as a group which was really nice over the course of the two weeks! Overall it has been much better than expected, the activities have all been really fun, active and engaging, the variety of places we visited has been great. Pompom has been the best guide, giving us all the information, sending us to the best places, giving us freedom when we needed it and just genuinely making everyone happy. I was pleasantly surprised about the tour overall and would consider another tour in the future. I have been able to explore Thailand with ease and I'm happy with my overall experience.

He was great at helping us get around and making sure we knew where to go for all of our own individual interests. I loved the jungle trek and going to the Elephant Sanctuary. It was so interesting to see how the hill people lived and to stay with them. The elephants are incredible creatures and I loved spending time with them.

All of the activities have been something I would have never done if I wasn't on a tour and had them planned out for me. From swimming in the waterfalls and exploring all the areas, to experiencing the nightlife with such an amazing group. Pompom has been the best tour guide we could've asked for, my favourite memory is when I cut my foot open in a local club and Pompom gave his shoes and wore my flip flops all night. Had the best time ever and would 100% recommend more people to do the tours with TruTravels. :)

I was the only solo-traveller in this group between all the couples, so I found that a little bit difficult in the beginning. I am also very happy about our tour guide, his enthusiasm and organization during the trip made this tour very nice. I am also very excited about the rest of the trip!

But overall this did not spoil the whole impression! The highlights are elephant sanctuary, Kanchanaburi river experience, jungle trekking, pai canyon. I liked every single day of it, except Chiang Mai water park.

They were very knowledgeable and patient. They remembered small details we mentioned in passing, making the tour feel personalized for each individual person. A few of us wanted to get traditional thai tattoos and they organized it for us as well as our journey after the tour ended, mine back to Bangkok.
I couldn't have asked for a better experience my first time in Thailand. Ali and Pom Pom are the best and deserve all the love and sangsom in the world! :)

I would have liked to have done a historical walking tour around Chiang Mai. Would like to have learnt more about Thailand in the WWII and the railway built for the Japanese, but that might just be My interests.
I found PomPom and Ali very patient & helpful, they were fun both on nights out and during the day. I really enjoyed getting to know them & learning about Thailand.
If either PomPom or Ali visits the UK I would love to have the honour of showing them around Britain. Thank you x

Bottle beach was also the super amazing, as it was very secluded and private. Everything we did was filled with excitement and was soo much fun. There was the perfect amount of free time , which gave me time to do my own things. I dont regret one moment of the whole trip. i totally had the time of my life. Made a family in Thailand which i'll never forget, Thanks to Steven and PomPom. All the islands were amazing and the tour guides were unbelievably fun, helpful and great compatriates. Literally best trip of my life. Thailand is amazing! Espcially Railey beach, it is without a doubt the True land of smiles. Best place ever!!! Shout out to Steven and Pom Pom, Best guides everrr!

I think if we had spent longer at other places and not so much time at Echo it would have been fine accommodation for a couple of nights. Otherwise all transport, accommodation and activities were great. All information we needed was readily available from our tour guides. If you want a very relaxing holiday and sightseeing this trip might not be for you. If you are after a wonderful, fast paced, fun filled, boozy holiday then I would strongly recommend!

Hands down it was the best holiday we have ever been on and the people you are with really do make it. We met some amazing people and made memories that we will never forget .. the floating bungalows are amazing and so is bottle beach - we also stayed in a really lovely resort called lime and soda that had a gorgeous beach. The trip is very well organised and flows really well you don’t have to do much waiting round for taxis etc they are always ready and waiting for you. One criticism I would have is that the itinerary is to spend 5 nights in echo beach hostel which doesn’t have much round it and in this time there is quite a few chilled days so unless the weather is good and you can go to the beach there really isn’t much else to do at echo beach and 5 nights there isn’t ideal - due to this we decided to leave 3 days early (day after full moon party) to travel on to Phuket. Also the itineray varies from that you are sent on booking so it sometimes different to what you are expecting. Steven was very knowledgeable and we had a good time with him and PomPom and the rest of the group. We would 100% book with TruTravels again!

I would have loved a longer stay at Bottle Beach for more group bonding. The itinerary was very good value for money and I wouldn't change anything about it!

The floating bungalows in Khao Sok national park was lovely, it was such a relaxing day. I really enjoyed the group, there was alot of laughs and the parties we had together were brilliant memories.

I have grown as a person learnt so many new things along the way. Lish, Benmore, and PomPom were the three best leaders I could have asked for who always knew whatever you needed to know and were very attentive, thanks to them I would 100% recommend the tour and like to thank them for making my experience as good as it was! My favorite activity was the elephant sanctuary because spending the time with the elephants on a personal level is something I’ve always wanted to do and I’m so grateful for the opportunity. But another important memory was Bottle Beach where I felt like the whole group came together to create more of a family. Everything was amazing but would have loved to have spent more time in Phuket seeing the amazing city!

My favorite activity on the trip was the boat trip as I felt I really helped bring the group together. Other activities such as the challenge course and Full Moon were also great!

They were so informative a…When I first booked the tour I was so nervous to go. I’d never been overseas and I had no idea what to expect. All of my worries went away as soon as I met Benmore and Lish. They were so informative and helpful and Benmore is literally a ray of sunshine. You would be lucky to have Lish, Benmore, or Pom as a guide. The tour itself is absolutely incredible and has pushed me out of my comfort zone in the best way possible, made me fall in love with Thailand, has given me so many lifelong friends and improved my beer pong skills! The itinerary is so packed full of amazing things to do it’s hard to pick just one favorite. Bottle Beach is definitely up there, incredible place and was where our group really became a family. Koh Tao pub crawl was endless fun, Khao Sok was beautiful even in the pouring rain. The booze cruise was amazing and Muay Thai lessons were also fantastic. Even just hearing about the culture and listening to facts from Benmore and Pom were a major highlight for me. They are so knowledgeable and always happy to answer any cultural questions. The elephant sanctuary was also unforgettable! Koh Phangan was one of my favorite islands but I would have loved to have been able to spend a little more time in Koh Tao and Phuket! Advice for those going on the tour would be don’t worry about anything because the tour and the people are amazing and you’re in VERY capable hands with TruTravels. Also, don’t get too drunk on the last night in Phi Phi because the ferry ride to Phuket is hell if you are!

Last week just finished the most amazing tour with tru travels. I was originally suppose to be on the 8day Thai intro tour but as my tour wasn’t starting for a two days my tour leader introduced me t…Last week just finished the most amazing tour with tru travels. I was originally suppose to be on the 8day Thai intro tour but as my tour wasn’t starting for a two days my tour leader introduced me to Justin and Pom Pom and we all went out with there 18day island hopper tour for the night in Bangkok. I met 17 amazing people and we all just got on so well. I then asked Justin if he could move me onto his tour it was just too much fun and I didn’t want to leave them. Him and Pom Pom were just so helpful they transferred me on to it. The next 8 days were just amazing I’m so happy I got to meet them and all the other people travelling. We saw some amazing places which I will never forget.
Justin and Pom Pom couldn’t do enough and were 10/10 great the whole time. Would 100% do the same tour again with them as it was so much fun.

They were always there if u ever needed anything,they were always up for anything anyone in the group wanted to do and they made everyone feel really comfortable and welcome.if we ever needed something at any of the accommodations they would do anything to help us as much as possible! We had some good laughs,even at times where we were so sweaty and tired from all the trekking,they still kept smiles on their faces! The group were lovely and we all became good friends,bee and Pom weren't like our guides they became our friends.It was a amazing trip and I'm so so glad I did it! Will miss them!

We started off as our own group with 4 leaders:
Itchy - Was always very informative and organised and knew exactly what he was doing, ensured the trip went smoothly and made it more enjoyable with his humour and character!
Napompon- Was always very informative and gave us a lot of information about life for Thai people and about the history of the country, got along with everyone and was always very helpful and polite
Ali (Sarayuth) - Always provides ample information about Thailand and the temples etc. His positivity and care about the trip ensured that we had an amazing time and whenever we had any problems he jumped to help them straight away!
Tamara - Her energy and charisma always put a smile on everyone’s face and got everyone ready for the day we had ahead of us, kept everyone entertained and was always attentive extremely helpful and enjoyable to have around.
We then joined on to a second group, and we lost Itchy and Napompon but gained two more guides in Papsi and Amanda
Papsi- Was very entertaining and always made sure every single person was enjoying there time and getting the most out of their experience
Amanda - Was always extremely attentive and organised and kept everybody in the know and did a great job of keeping the trip ticking over aswell as suggesting extra activities that we may want to do to further enrich our tour experience
Overall I would recommend trutravels to anyone looking to go on a tour about south east Asia, and I am sure this was an experience I will never forget and it is all thanks to the tour leaders at trutravels.

What an amazing 18 day adventure. We saw so much and met a lot of people. It’s definitely geared more for partiers and I’m not much of a partier. But I still had an amazing time. There’s no way I could have done everything and saw everything I did without being on this tour. All of the guides are very caring and nice. Fun too! I got really sick at the end of the tour. Amanda and Ali took care of me. I’m so grateful to be on the tour with all of them. Tamara helped me plan my trip up north for a good deal. They made sure my ongoing travel was taken care of and I understood what to do. All in all. Great times and a great tour!
