The trips & activities were amazing and very well organized get very chilled and relaxing. I felt i got a great inside to Thailand and experience things I would never have been on my own.
Our tour guides "Papsi" and "Scotty" were great, helpful, friendly, kind and funny! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone, I thought it was great value for money and I have met some awesome people on the way.

I got a lot of information from them and they made sure that everybody got home safe after been drinking. I didn't feel that the guys were our tour guides. They joined in with all the games and felt like they were part of our group with all of the chats and laughs.
I love the way when we got free times that the lads joined into and my favorite thing was the pub crawl and meeting these amazing people. The lads make sure everybody was ok and everybody was safe.
When talking about this trip I will defo de telling my friends about "Papsi" and "Scotty". I can't wait to travel again with you guys. I really like the way "Papsi" book a taxi to get us back to the airport.
"Papsi" and "Scotty" are amazing and very nice, so easy to chilled with. !

Any questions or concerns I had they were able to answer. I enjoyed the total Thailand tour but the island hopping was my favorite part. Bottle Beach, Koh Tao, and Phi Phi islands were my favorite places to visit. I would highly recommend it to friends and family!

He always had a good time with us but made sure everyone was always included and felt safe.
When we couldn't go to Phong Nha national park because of the flood, Papsi made sure to act fast and gave us an amazing alternative and quicky
He genuinely always asked us how we were doing and if we were feeling tired/down he made sure to make us feel better. Overall this was an amazing experience and a good variety of activities were included, but I would suggest to include a bit more cultural and historical information about Vietnam, especially in Hanoi.

Our leaders both went beyond their duties to help us with further travel when we left and throughout the tour with information on sights and recommendations. Hostel Ninhvana I felt was aimed and targeted to drink the whole time and under pressure by their staff to do so, other than the jungle trek and the kayak there were no other activities or entertainment for non-drinkers. But overall the tour leaders made it a great experience from start to finish!

From the first night when he saved me from bed bugs in the hostel I was staying, to the final day when I didn’t want to leave him & we have a hand shake!! His English is amazing! I genuinely cannot express how different my time would have been without him. I had a great time in Vietnam and I’m really glad I did the tour as I felt safe and at ease throughout. Not as good but close to the 27 day Thailand. The North part of my tour has been my favourite in particular Hoi An which was absolutely beautiful - Papsi tailor recommendation was fab. The Hai Van pass was brilliant despite being ridiculously hungover! Phong always looked out me whenever I felt sick!! Castaways was an experience I will never forget… So surreal - I made a life long friend! I was sad that we had to miss Phong Nha, however Papsi did an exceptional job at organising alternative activities. All in all I’ve had a brilliant time! Papsi you’re the best THAIII BOIII out there!!! Phong you’re a legend. Thank you!

Your guides can make or break an experience like this, and thankfully "Papsi" and "Phong" are both incredible people. I had an amazing time with both of them, sharing lots of laughed, good and history. I'm really grateful to the pair of them for working so hard to show us all the best spots in Vietnam I'd never have known about I'm sad to be leaving but made some great friends and I'll remember driving Hai Van Pass in the pissing rain, and star gazing surrounded by glow in the dark plankton in the middle of the night for the rest of my life!. The only thing I wish is getting to spend some extra time in Saigon as I thought it was cool as [expletive removed in moderation]

The itinerary for this tour is a perfect mix of culture and beauty, Papsi has so much knowledge and advice on how to experience this country to the absolute max.
Hoi An is a stunning city, Papsi helped us find some food, some rally cute coffee shop, local food and clothes. The adventure activities are incredible, ziplining sandboarding and tubing are all amazing experiences.
All in all, a perfect tour, a perfect guide, a perfect experience, Vietnam is the place to be. <3

I was ever lucky though to have two of them. They both made everyone fool to home even though we where wikes away. The tour was fun so well from start to finish even when we had to change the itinerary due to weather. My personal favorite part of the trip was the sand dune quad biking and kayaking in Ha Long Bay. All in all this trip has been jaw-dropping, exiting and outright amazing. I could not fault the service given by the Trufamily from booking to doing the trip what an amazing experience.

Trutravels contacted me a month before the trip to let me know I was the only person on the tour and asked if I could change my travel date. They were fantastic in helping me change my travel date.
The tour was great starting in the south and making our way north, all travel and accommodation was sorted stress-free. It was great the Trutravels booked rooms for longer to store bags and have showers before move to the next place. Our tour guides "Papsi" and "Phong" were great, Papsi was full of energy and came out with us in the evening which was great. Phong was super knowledgeable about the history of Vietnam and knew the best places to get food. The activities on the tour were awesome, my favorite activity was the cooking class. But the Quad Biking on the sand dunes, kayaking in Ha Loing Bay and all the other activities were great too.
I will definitely be booking another tour with Trutravels again!!!!

Our group thou we shared our experience with has been a great group! to be win and made our tour so great. The only things that would have been better would be the Ninhvana part, as we were pressured by people there to drink and it would have been a lot better for us to move on and see something different as we are on a smaller trip and 3 days were spent there. Everything else was well and I would recommend this trip!

It´s so difficult to summarize all the impressions after these adventurous days in south Vietnam. There were so many fundamentally different experiences that I have made in the last few days. It was m…It´s so difficult to summarize all the impressions after these adventurous days in south Vietnam. There were so many fundamentally different experiences that I have made in the last few days. It was my first trip to Vietnam, my first trip with TruTravels and even my first backpacking tour with a group of people I didn´t know before.
The story has begun in Hoi Chi Ming City. We stayed there the first day, until all the others arrived. Then we started as mentioned in the tour itinerary our adventures and our travel.
The group was really friendly and open minded and wishes from the group could be fulfilled every time. We were a really young group (age 18-29) - it was fun all the time!
Especially the group leader helped us every time and showed us the best places we had to see. He made a brilliant job although we were such a large group and Vietnam was abroad for him too. Competing against him in poolbillard and basketball was a hard task but big fun between the activities. Thank you Papsi for everything!! And thanks to everyone who was involved in this travel in the office!
It was a pleasure to travel around with trutravel and to get in touch with this country and his culture. The organization was perfect from the beginning to the end and even beyond!
I will come back (and that´s not a threat ;) )!

Papsi always informed us of the previous days plan well in advance. I would have prepared to pay more money for better accommodation.

The castaways experience was so much fun, but I would say I would have preferred only one dayI might there and have had another day in Hanoi or somewhere else.
I would also say this experience is definitely for a young age group and even though I'm 29, most people on the tour were 20's. This didn't ruin my experience but it would have been nice to know beforehand.
All in all, great experience and i will be recommending!!!

Ba Na Hills is not on the original itinerary but I really enjoyed it there as there is something for everyone. The duck farm wasn't on the itinerary either but it was an absolute favorite of mine. Castaways was a good way to end the tour with everyone. Restaurant choices could be better. As a vegetarian, I feel my dietary requirements were met very well and I was always happy with the food offered to me.
Papsi, He is a great leader , always made sure we were all okay and stayed together especially at Castaways.

Papsi was very informative however some of the local tour guides were a bit difficult to understand as they had to talk quickly to get the info.
I really enjoyed Castaways however I think it would've been nice to have an extra towel and bedding.
I had a great overall experience however I think it would've been helpful for Papsi to have another tour guide since we were a large group.
Thanks again Papsi, it was great! I will miss you and your positive energy. <3 <3

I met so much new people, but my favorite thing in the tour was the quad-biking on the sand dunes in Mui Ne. It was a bit scary but so amazingly crazy. All in all, it was really an experience of a lifetime. Loved the tour and most importantly our amazing tour guide "Papsi"!!

Papsii is an amazing tour guide. His English wasn't the best, but he worked very hard to run a tour by himself in a country where he didn't speak the language. He is very friendly and tries his hardest to keep the atmosphere fun and light-hearted. The tour definitely becomes a lot better with Papsi as the guide, even when he was doing a one-person job by himself.
The food experience was very much mediocre. I understand that it is very difficult to find a restaurant big enough for 20 people, and those restaurants would be expensive. However, I expect such expensive food to be amazing and much better than the small street shops. I would hope that better research will give a better food experience.
I enjoyed almost all of the experiences on the tour. The sand dunes, the trip to Ba Na Hills, the cooking class were all amazing. Castaways Island was the worst of the experiences. Ha Long Bay is so beautiful, but the rowdy, loud and booze-killed atmosphere did slightly ruin it. I would much prefer a small private beach with just the tour group playing cards and taking our time with drinking.

The tour was really fun and Papsi made sure everyone needs were catered for even when there were various different personality in the group. The activities were fun, the Hai Van Pass was amazing and the cooking class was good too. The accommodation was always in the best location which made exploring and going out early! the activities we did we really fun throughout and doing the full 17 days was a good pace crazy and chilled places like Mui Ne.
Finally, Papsi was the loveliest, most accommodating and kind tour guide who worked so hard with having such a big group and its fun being him. He is organized, professional and fun. Papsi is a credit to Trutravels, you are so lucky to have such a legend working for you.

I loved the different activities, it was a perfect mixture of culture, party, food, fun and relax. I got to know very nice Tru-travellers and we embraced one another and everybody got along. Our tour guide "Papsi" was one of the highlights of the journey. He was so friendly, funny, well prepared, helpful and let me feel very safe. Next, to the full program, we had also time to explore Vietnam by ourself, just relax at the pool or in the cute coffee shop. What I like at the most was Hoi An, the whole city was full of lanterns. In the evening it just created a romantic atmosphere. I really enjoyed the tour and would love to travel with Trutravels and especially "Papsi" again.
I am very thankful for the experiences and can recommend it to EVERYBODY!!!

Hoi An was my favorite place because it was beautiful and there was an accessible nice beach, the bike ride with buffaloes and visiting Ba Na Hills was very good. Papsi, our tour guide. I enjoyed the parts that were related to Vietnam's history such as the war Remnants museum and more of this kind of thing could be included, such a trip to see the Ho Chi Minh body. There were lots of Physical activities like Quadbiking and boat rides.
Just want to say a massive thank you to Papsi for making our tour so brilliant.

Vietnam is the most beautiful country I've visited. That along with the itinerary made it pretty much impossible to wot have a good time. So imagine my delight when I got one of the friendliest people…Vietnam is the most beautiful country I've visited. That along with the itinerary made it pretty much impossible to wot have a good time. So imagine my delight when I got one of the friendliest people I've ever met as our tour guide is Papsi, and made friendships that will stay with me forever.
There are 4 of 5 things I could pick as a highlight - among them Phong Nha national park and strangely enough, the duck farm - which can't be said of the other trips I have been on.
A few things didn't go perfectly (through any our's fault) but being with friends like ours made on the tour, made it impossible to be in a bael mood.
One final mention for Papsi : I could not possibly imagine having to do his job. He was always in a good mood despite being in a strange country and no doubt missing home.

He helps us to integrate with other people and not just talk to each other but he was also very patient and did not pressure anybody.
Papsi's timekeeping and overall organization skills were very impressive, especially since he was in charge of such a large group who at times wanted very different things from the tour. He dealt with all challenges well and impressed us all. I think he should have been assisted by another tour guide since it was such a large group.
The Trutravels Vietnam Explorer tour was a fair balance between tourist, activities and relaxing free time, however, I believe a few more of Vietnam's iconic sights could be included on the tour. I would have paid for a longer tour to be able to see more of Vietnam. Hoi An was beautiful and I think it would be nice if the boat ride was included. The tour allowed me to travel to Asia when I would have not felt comfortable to alone. I think it would be nice if there could be more research into unique food places so people are more impressed with the food. However, Papsi did name a lot restaurant and bar recommendation which allowed us to have a variety.

This is my second tour with Trutravels! The tour started off a little slow and it feels like we were not doing a lot but this picked up once we got to Mui Ne! sand dunes were the best day I've had in a long time and one I won't forget Quadbiking down a sand dune at 60 miles on the hour was incredible. (even it wasn't included in the itinerary)
On the whole, the tour has been a decent mix of adventure and culture although I was a little disappointed that for 4 days of the tour we were booked onto another tour -VBH. Their hostels are all-night parties, 16 people per room and not a lot else. On castaways island in Ha Long Bay, we were with 70 other people who were there just to party for days which is not what I really paid for on the tour.
Main said all this, this tour is an amazing introduction to Vietnam. The Accommodation has been decent and Papsi, He was our tour guide. He is the cutest human being I have ever met! The group has been amazing, full of 18-28-year-olds which has made traveling together amazing.
So many laughs and some new friends for life have made this tour amazing.

I really enjoyed the caving in Phong Nha and the cooking class in Hue. I would have liked a full day in the imperial city - 1 afternoon. feel a little rushed!

Ba Na Hills is not on the original itinerary but I really enjoyed it there as there is something for everyone. The duck farm wasn't on the itinerary either but it was an absolute favorite of mine. Castaways was a good way to end the tour with everyone. Restaurant choices could be better. As a vegetarian, I feel my dietary requirements were met very well and I was always happy with the food offered to me.
Papsi, He is a great leader , always made sure we were all okay and stayed together especially at Castaways.

Pappsi our tour guide was the best, he always went the extra mile to help us by making sure we had arrangements to go where we needed when the tour finished, he took loads of pictures for us throughout the day and would always upload them to our Facebook chat that evening, he reccomened places for us to eat in the evening, he knew lots about information about he places we visited and i couldnt have asked for a better tour guide!

Papsi was always happy, fun, entertaining and professional. He was good under stress and also when dealing with more difficult group members. He usually went out of his way to cater to everyone's needs and get to know everyone. There were many times when Papsi's pure kindness + kind heartedness shone through as he sacrificed sleeping & showering in his own hotel room after the 10 hour night bus, So me and my friend could. The activities and destinations have been amazing, with amazing staff at each place too.
i loved the activities in Mui Ne, with the quad bikes (should be included in the tour price), fairy stream and sliding down the dues. I also loved going to Hoi an, the basket boats and the lantern making too. The cooking class had some of the best Vietnamese food I’ve eaten and was so much fun. Phong Nha also was some of my favorite activity days on the trip. I also have loved the city of Hanoi with the shopping and the fun we all had at train street. The War museum was also very moving and I’m glad it was included. Overall it was amazing value for money and even better by my amazing tour group of friends and having Papsi as my leader.

From the minute that we landed everything was very organized and explained well. All the hotel rooms were really nice and all of them had airconditioning. We went out as a group most nights for food that was recommended by our tour guide. All the food was cooked to a high standard as well. I really enjoyed the tour around Ho Chi Minh City and being able to explore the markets. One of the best days on the trip was going to the fairy streams, quad biking down the sand dunes and sandboarding. The hostel that we stayed in as well as a good chance to have a bit of free time and relax. The balance between activities and free time was really good. The transport between locations all contained air conditioning and it was really well organized. On the last day, it was really good to spend time with the locals and try their home-cooked food. Overall, it was an amazing experience and I wish I could have done the whole Vietnam tour. I will definitely be using TruTravels again in the future. I couldn't have asked for a better tour guide as well. Pappsii is our tour guide. He was so funny, organized and fun of life. Thank you so much Papsii!

The quad bike on the sand dunes and the Ba Na Hills were uncredible and my favorite part of my time in Vietnam. Due to the chaotic nature of Vietnam, I was believed that all transport was provided for me and that Papsii always went out of the busway to keep us informed. Overall, a great start point for exploring Vietnam and gives you a real feel of what Vietnam and its culture have to offer. Papsii always had the knowledge of extra activities to do during free time and always kept us entertained.

Papsii as a great group leader was amazing, always upbeat and excited to get us ready for the day (or night). The facebook group chat was a great idea and he always kept us updated or shared the photos he had taken that day (which were so good).

The city is quite lound and busy. Mui ne, the sandboarding and quadbiking were entertaining. The food court was an amazing spot for food and drinks. So much variety and quality dishes. Nha Trang was over too quick. So busy and vibey though, we barely had time to experience. Ninhvana, I have mixed feelings about this hideout in the mountains is wonderful, however it was abit boring. the best thing to do their is drink. The food was not good, but the massage and yoga class was very good. Hoi An was simply magical and the best was kept for the last on our trip! I love the old feel of the town. Lastly, Papsii was our tour guide. He is sweet gentle, kind, sunshrine soul. An asset to any company. He brought his a game. Just the right kind of sternness to keep the group going and considorate to all. He gets 10/10.

I loved the size and people in my group and how everyone was like fun in terms of long to travel. I think the ratio of free time to activities is spot on and it means you can have an amazing time and not be too tived! My favorite place on tour was Hoi An, it is a stunning place with lots to do and explore. I particularly enjoyed the Mui Ne Sand Dunes tour. The recommendation to quad bike was brilliant. The best 10 Pound I've ever spent! The sand dune sand boarding was just mad and the photos that Papsii took with forever be funny. Papsii always has a smile on his face as well as taking the best GoPro pictures that we with treasure forever, an incredible tour guide! Some other highlight include the cooking class in Hue (Yummiest food ever!) and also the cave tour and Duck stop in Phong Nha. I have had the best time in Vietnam and Thanks to Papsii, the group and the whole trutravels Team so thank you very much!

We started with the war museum in Ho Chi Minh which was excellent - giving us a detailed insight into the Vietnamese history before beginning our explorations of the country. Driving quad bikes around the desert surroundings was amazing followed by sand dunes. Cycling around Hoi An was very enjoyable experiencing the busy roads in Vietnam. The cooking class was excellent and the best food I've had in Vietnam. The accommodation has been very good in every location and I've felt safe and secure. Papsii, who is our group leader. He was excellent , so friendly, helpful in times of need and most professional. He was so organised letting us know the activities for each day, he always made sure we were safe. I fell ill with sunstroke for a day and Papsii was so kind and caring I felt very safe and really appreciated his kindness. The people and Papsii made my travelling experience very enjoyable. Overall a very memorable experience, and I will never forget! Thank you.

The northern half was so full on, heaps of cultural exploration (temples, museums, villages, etc.) which was breathtaking, did things I'd never usually do like hikes and jungle trekking. Kanchanaburi was definitely a highlight of the trip, especially during Songkran, it was amazing going through the streets and celebrating with the locals! And of course the elephant sanctuary was beautiful. The adrenaline was at a constant high with so many activities and constantly being on our feet, I loved it! Papsii was the best tour guide ever, his photography was out of this world and he really welcomed us to Thailand. The most genuine, caring person I've ever met. The second half in the South was more relaxed and partying, especially with Gun! He was great to party with. It balanced out well and acted as a way to relax after an intense two weeks in the north. Khao Sok National Park is truly breathtaking, the night sky was gorgeous; our group spent hours just sitting looking at the stars. Bottle Beach was also amazing, really a great group bonding experience. Met the most authentically gorgeous people on this trip. If you're thinking about booking this tour, do it! You won't regret it. The experiences and people I met will forever remain close to my heart

From treking 5 hours to the hill tribes to splashing and washing the elephants my cheeks have never hurt so much from smiling. I came on this trip by myself but have made the most amazing friends that I know I will keep for life. Also if your booking with TruTravels hope and pray you get Papsi! He has been there for everything. He goes out of his way to make sure you have everything you need to make sure your safe and comfortable. I was scared of falling so the zipline was very hard but he stayed with me every step of the way and I'm proud to say with his support I finished it all. It started with visiting temples, enjoying a fresh coconut on the floating markets, refreshing in the waterfalls and learned about a little bit of the fascinating history. My personal highlight was the trip into the jungle and bringing presents to the kids in a village and playing football/soccer with them. After spending a night there without any electricity, but with a lot of magic of the jungle's life. For the whole group it was a special experience like spending time with the elephants - washing and feeding them. In the end of this amazing trip, everyone was so hungry because of all the action that we went to a cooking class to prepare typical Thai food by our own. This journey was only possible because of the amazing spirit of Thailand, the great group members and especially Papsi - our tour guide who did a fantastic job.

The stay in the hill tribe was an amazing and beautiful experience and it was great to see everyone "struggle" together to finish the hike. If I'm honest I loved every activity so much. I could be talking about it for hours. In the end it all just comes down to how beautiful and amazing Thailand is. However, my experience would not have been nearly as good if we hadn't had Papsii as our tour guide. He was amazing. He knew everything we asked him and was always prepared to help if people needed help. On top of the included activities he would also propose extra optional activities that were possibly even more fun than the normal itinerary. The first couple of nights in Khao San Rd were mind blowing but the trip really got going once we headed to the islands. That first plunge off the side of the boat into turquoise water was when I realised I'd arrived in Thailand and was in for the time of my life.
We had some awesome characters in the group, everyone brought something, stories, banter and dance moves!
Sad to see it over but it's been the most amazing time!

All of the accommodation was in really good locations and was very clean. Transport was always provided and included in the original price, which it wasn't on other trips I have done with other companies.
There was a lot of things included for the price which made the trip really good value for money.
As for the group leaders... I couldn't recommend Papsi and Dean enough. They were always checking everyone was happy, coming up with activities for the group and they tried to keep the group together as much as possible by doing group dinners etc. Both of them were such good and fun and always in high spirits with great banter. They were also helpful with organising transport after the trip and booked me on to a diving course.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my time on this trip and with this group.

As a solo traveler it was difficult to make friends as our group was made up of 5 people and 2 of them were travelling together, but The group leaders made me feel so welcomed and inclusive in the group. The activities that were SOOO good. I really loved the last day activities, which were the boat trip, ziplining and archery, it was easily hands own one of my favourite trips along with one of the impromptu trip made, as it was Buddha day and we had to go with another plan instead, which was The trip to Ratchada Night Train Market, via public transport. This really gave a good deep insight to the real Thai experience. I couldn't thank Papsii and Patrick enough for their company! i would really recommend this trip to anyone looking to see Thailand in a short period of time, as we cover many different environment moving from Bangkok to the islands.

The best activities were the elephant sanctuary and the cooking class. There wasn't any one memory that I could say was my favorite, just thousands of great ones with the group, the guides, the activities, and all the places we've been. Every restaurant we went to had good food and vegetarian options! I just, overall, has a great time! If some of my friends would like to go to Thailand, I would 100% recommend them this tour. I think this tour is the best way to see a lot of parts of the real Thailand in a short amount of time combined with a lot of fun, joy, happiness, and great people! This was an important aspect for me so that I do not have to be afraid of travelling without my family, just on my own. Because of Papsi and Alanna, the tour became so beautiful! They created a small family with all of us and I hope to see them again! The Elephant Sanctuary and the different experiences of nature (sunsets, etc.) were my favorite parts of this trip! As well as going to the street markets which was so nice! Experiencing the culture of Thailand was great too!

Our group really bonded so any free time was spent getting to know each other and playing cards. Going out for meals and drinks was awesome too! I think Papsi and Alanna together as guides works beautifully. Papsi's crazy but so lovely and emmensly helpful when you need him and Alanna has this great bestie/trip mum persona, which is incredible when your solo travelling. I would 100% do this all again if I could!

My favourite location was Phi Phi. Favourite activities were 1. Kayaking sunset in Railay, 2. Hiking to the viewpoint in Railay, 3. Hotel and boat trip in Koh Tao, 4. Making amazing friends, and 5. They both have been very attentive and caring about us all, at daily life issues, remembering us to get hydrated and to put sunscreen, and to enjoy the parties responsibly as well. We didn't have any problems with time, tickets, information or whatever during our entire tour, so their work in the back stage must be remembered ! Thanks for the late night philosophical discussions and cultural exchange. I’ve learned a lot about the amazing thai culture with Papsi, always asking if we were feeling well and with a great smile in his face !
During the time we spent in Bangkok we could enjoy the local restaurants, street food (scorpions included), drinks and parties. It was a good moment to get together with the group and learn more about Canada, Brazil, France, Germany and England ! We took a cool boat ride in the rivers of Bangkok, we fed the fishes and saw a baby comodo dragon (!), we visited beautiful temples and learned about Buddhism and thai culture, we took a tuk-tuk race back to the hotel (unique experience, believe me !). Not included in the tour but totally worth it is the all-you-can-eat dinner at the biggest tower in Bangkok where you can have a 360° view of the city ! Next thing was to take a 12h train to the National Park Kao Sok, which was an intense experience as well. The old-fashioned train sets the mood for games and conversation and 12h didn’t seem that long. We took a small boat to the center of the incredible national park to the bungalows where we spent an awesome day just eating, drinking, jumping in the water, kayaking and chilling a lot. Could have spent more time there for sure ! Next stop was Ko Phangan island where we stayed in beautiful beaches. There are different activities proposed, from tanning at the beach, to volleyball, snorkeling, hiking, muay thai lessons, chilling or partying. The boat party was also great with included food, fruits and drinks the whole day. We saw amazing places and had a lot of fun jumping from the boat, swimming and chilling. The nights at Ko Phangan were very good, with good restaurants by the beach, music and “fire benders” shows. Happy Hour Every Hour ! Our last dinner together with the group was great and we could feel that we all had a great time together.
I think this tour had a good balance between different activities, suitable for the more adventurers and for the chilling type as well, so the tour is what you make of it ! Thanks again for Papsi and Justin for the amazing experience ! See you next tour !

I can not thank Trutravels enough for two of the best weeks. The tour itinerary allowed us to explore the culture and heritage of Thailand whilst adding in activities where you could just relax and have fun catering to everyone’s wants and needs. One of our biggest highlights were our two FANTASTIC tour guides Itchy and Papsi. Both were awesome and couldn’t be faulted. From day 1 to day 13 both of them worked hard, answering any questions and created a safe and fun environment for the team. Both became more than just tour guides but great friends. I loved the fact that trutravels have both a Thai guide and an international guide. Itchy has lots of experience in the tourism industry and Papsi had the knowledge of the country he has grown up in.

Papsi's English was very good and he was able to give a very knowledgable incite into Thai culture. Itchy was very resourceful, especially as in his own time he organised everybody's transportation to where they wanted to go after the tour, which we all appreciated very much!

Upon arriving at our first hotel in Bangkok, Itchy was welcoming and friendly from the offset. He introduced himself and made us all come together as a group, as a result I have made life long friends in just a short 13 day trip. We didn’t want it to end!! The activities included were amazing and the transport to and from places very good. All accommodation was exceptional. I would 100% recommend friends and family to do a TruTravels tour and even tell them to request Itchy and Papsi as tour guides as they are what made our trip even better! They were amazing together!! Kept us entertained as well as helping us with anything they possibly could. Thank you TruTravels, you will definitely be seeing us again and thank you Itchy and Papsi, you have inspired us for the rest of our travels ❤️

Itchy has been the best and I doubt there is any other guide better then him, he’s always entertaining 24/7, heaps of knowledge of where to go, eat, have fun and to have a great time! He looked after us all 24/7, if we had a question he would be on it with an answer straight away, and most of all he’s a genuine guy, what you see is what you get! I will miss him a lot, but I will definitely be doing another tru travels tour, and he best be the guide!! Also papsi the assist tour guide made it even more memorable, he was just hilarious every single minute, and always made us smile. Him and itchy are the power couple haha! The transport was perfect everytime, the activities were awesome! Thank you tru travels for the best two weeks ever!

Their knowledge of local areas was always helpful when deciding on what to do and even after the tour ended they still offered to help with transport and give ideas of what to do at your future Thailand destinations. A 10/10 experience!!

First of all this tour is amazing, it was the best 3 weeks of my life and it couldn't have been better. The tour guides certainly made this experience, I'm 35, I manage a service and I'm quite critical with high standards and these guys blew me away! I just want to thank Tru Travels for employing such amazing staff, they really made this trip excel my expectations. There were so many suggestions of activities to do and all of the staff were happy to help us organise anything. I really can't praise you guys enough and thank you for making this experience so amazing.
Sarayuth aka Ali, was the most adorable human I have ever encountered, he picked me up at the airport and I instantly knew I was in safe hands. it was his first tour with tru travels but he has lots of experience and it showed. He had such genuine care for everyone on the tour and is just an all round lovely guy. He shared all his Thai knowledge with us about the Temples and the culture and taught us lots of Thai words and ways of life. On top of this he was so much fun! Ali, I miss you xxx
Itchy- well this guy just absolutely loves life and fun and just wants everyone to have a great time! We had Itchy for the first 10 days and again what a lovely guy! He was so much fun and always checking in on everyone and making sure we all had a good time.
Tamara- So much love for this girl! She's an absolute gem. She took music everywhere we went and it really lifted our spirits on those early morning travels. She's so much fun, so happy, and just a genuinely lovely gal :) I miss you Tamara :(
Amanda joined us for the last 10 days when our group of 12 became 30 0dd people and her organisation skills were so impressive. I honestly can't believe how easy she made it look organising all those people, it was effortless! As with all the tru crew, her genuine desire for us all to have the best time came through everyday. constantly checking were ok, giving us options of other things to do if we had spare time or didn't wanna do one of the set activities. Not only this, Amanda really made a massive effort to make sure we all had amazing pictures to remember the trip, I look back at these now and am really grateful for all those times she made us have group pictures- thanks babe!
Papsi- another lovely guy, so happy and smiley and another great member of the tru crew.
I'll be booking the Philippines next year, i'm not sure I'll ever get better than this Thai tour but I'll definitely be booking with Tru travels in the future.

Our tour guide, Amanda, was so down to earth and as soon as I arrived, she picked me up from the airport and was so welcoming to me. She was fun and professional all at the same time. Our other guide, Papsi, was nothing but fabulous !! He was absolutely hilarious and so loveable. We had Alex for the start of our tour too, who also gave us such a fun and enjoyable experience, he was always going out of his way to make us all as happy as possible. Thanks so much guys :)

Itchy - Was always very informative and organised and knew exactly what he was doing, ensured the trip went smoothly and made it more enjoyable with his humour and character!
Napompon- Was always very informative and gave us a lot of information about life for Thai people and about the history of the country, got along with everyone and was always very helpful and polite
Ali (Sarayuth) - Always provides ample information about Thailand and the temples etc. His positivity and care about the trip ensured that we had an amazing time and whenever we had any problems he jumped to help them straight away!
Tamara - Her energy and charisma always put a smile on everyone’s face and got everyone ready for the day we had ahead of us, kept everyone entertained and was always attentive extremely helpful and enjoyable to have around.
We then joined on to a second group, and we lost Itchy and Napompon but gained two more guides in Papsi and Amanda
Papsi- Was very entertaining and always made sure every single person was enjoying there time and getting the most out of their experience
Amanda - Was always extremely attentive and organised and kept everybody in the know and did a great job of keeping the trip ticking over aswell as suggesting extra activities that we may want to do to further enrich our tour experience
Overall I would recommend trutravels to anyone looking to go on a tour about south east Asia, and I am sure this was an experience I will never forget and it is all thanks to the tour leaders at trutravels.

What an amazing 18 day adventure. We saw so much and met a lot of people. It’s definitely geared more for partiers and I’m not much of a partier. But I still had an amazing time. There’s no way I could have done everything and saw everything I did without being on this tour. All of the guides are very caring and nice. Fun too! I got really sick at the end of the tour. Amanda and Ali took care of me. I’m so grateful to be on the tour with all of them. Tamara helped me plan my trip up north for a good deal. They made sure my ongoing travel was taken care of and I understood what to do. All in all. Great times and a great tour!
Thailand I didn't have an expectation for but tru travels truly made it an expereince I've never forget. Accommodation was much better than I would have imagined for a backpacking tour as well but mostly it wouldn’t have been the same without our tour guides Mickey and Papsi! They were so helpful and fun and accommodating. Mickey was great at explaining everything to us and organising everything, even if it diverted from the itinerary. They were the highlight of the trip!

They were knowledgeable and professional, but definitely knew how to have a good time and made sure we did as well. Anytime anyone had a question or needed help with something they went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of (e.g., helping me buy a new phone when mine broke, being nurses to those of us who become ill). The tour was welll organized and I can most definitely say I will be going on another trip with trutravels one day.

They weren’t just our tour guides - they were our friends :) I have met some amazing people and have had an experience of a lifetime. Couldn’t recommend any more! The tour itself was so much fun and massive value for money. We stayed in some amazing accommodation and locations and the tour guides gave us good advice to help us with the rest of our trip! I can’t thank them enough for all their help and support - I will always cherish the memories that we made on this tour with all the gang. Thank you all so much :)
