Good trip, but I would not book again or recommend them to anyone. The company will change its name, disappear soon, and start operating under a new name. The post is misleading to the point of fraud - no hot air balloon, no Nile cruise. Sunset activity turned into 1 night. They don't operate the tour - they subcontract to other companies that hire their own tour guides and bus drivers, book places, etc. 7 days was really 2.5 days of activities and the rest was logistics. You still paid for all the expensive things in Cairo, they only covered some cheap meals and cheap attractions. The 7-day tour was closer to: Day 1 - airport pickup Day 2 - guided tour - hotel breakfast, free buffet lunch (pay for your own drinks), 3 hours at the pyramids, 1 hour at the museum, and two "shopping destinations" - you pay for your own tickets, no dinner Day 3 - bus ride to Siwa & dinner Day 4 - see the three ruins sites in Siwa (cost less than $5 per person) & desert SUV ride, cold breakfast, decent lunch, decent dinner. Day 5 - half day - free swim in hot spring and salt lakes. Same lunch and same dinner. Day 6 - bus back to Cairo Day 7 - bus to airport. The place was less than $75 a night if you booked yourself, and for them to upgrade to a 5-star hotel - upcharge $150 a night per person - $3,000 for two people. So double the cost of the tour. Every time would have cost 40-50% less if you booked yourself. You're paying TourRadar to pay this company to pay another company to book everything and the tour guides. Do it yourself or find tours when you get there - it's cheaper.

We had an unforgettable experience with Sun Pyramids Tours on a two-part journey through Egypt. The trip was flawlessly organized from airport pickup to the final drop-off. Part 1: Alexandria Day Tour – Our guide Sam was a fantastic Egyptologist who brought the city’s rich history to life. We explored the Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa, Pompey’s Pillar, Qaitbay Citadel, and the stunning Bibliotheca Alexandrina. Sam’s knowledge and passion made every stop engaging and insightful. Part 2: 4D3N Siwa Oasis Adventure – This was the highlight of our trip. Our guide Mohad was exceptional—warm, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable. He went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, well-fed, and immersed in local culture. He even helped capture amazing photos along the way! Our driver Mr. Samir was calm, kind, and made us feel safe throughout the long drives. In the Great Sand Sea, Mohad arranged for Nasser, “The Commander of the Desert,” to be our 4x4 driver—his skills navigating the towering dunes were jaw-dropping! Highlights included the Alamein Military Museum, Siwa Salt Lake, ancient Shali fortress, Temple of the Oracle, and Mountain of the Dead. Mohad also took us to try local delicacies and shop for authentic Siwan products like dates and hibiscus tea. Highly recommend Sun Pyramids Tours for anyone looking for a well-curated, personal, and memorable Egyptian adventure!

The tour was advertised with English speaking guide, however the Sun Pyramid representative didn't speak English. Mahmoud was a nice guy and drove me around for the 7 days, but he certainly was not a guide, and I didn't receive any information about the places we visited.The itinerary and destinations were amazing, but the fact I couldn't communicate with the driver (again, should be guide) had a big impact on my experience, hence not a 5 star review. Also, it was disappointing that after writing to Sun Pyramid tours with my feedback they did not reply.
