Our guide, Nemanja, was excellent and made us feel like family. He was also our driver and made detours to make our trip extra special. Very thoughtful and kind. He knew the trails well and explained the historical elements well. We truly enjoyed every aspect of this trip. The information and coordination before the trip was deplorable. Tour Radar and Nature Trips did not get us the necessary vouchers and information until two days before our trip. Tour Radar really let the ball drop and it took us going onto FB and looking up the WhatsApp number and calling Nature Trips directly to get the necessary information. I would give Tour Radar a failing grade but Nemanja and his agency an excellent.

Absolutely unforgettable! The tour exceeded all expectations. From the vibrant streets of Podgorica to the serene beauty of Boka Bay, every day was a new adventure. Hiking through Biogradska Gora's ancient forests and marveling at the Đurđevića Tara Bridge were standout moments. The visit to Ostrog Monastery was both spiritual and awe-inspiring. Our guide was knowledgeable and passionate, making the journey even more enriching. The accommodations were comfortable, and the itinerary was perfectly balanced between activity and relaxation. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to explore Montenegro's rich culture and breathtaking landscapes!

What our customers ask about Montenegro Tours & Trips
How Do You Get Around Montenegro?
Montenegro's compact but mountainous landscape means getting between places can take longer than you'd expect. Renting a car gives you the most freedom and those mountain drives are spectacular though be ready for some winding roads. If you're watching your budget buses work really well connecting all the main spots on regular schedules. As an example driving from Kotor up to Žabljak near Durmitor National Park takes about 4 hours in your own car.
Is Montenegro Good for Traveling Solo?
You'll feel right at home traveling solo in Montenegro it's super safe and the locals are really welcoming. A great way to meet people is joining something like the Montenegro Sailing tour from Dubrovnik it runs for 8 days and you'll explore the gorgeous Bay of Kotor with plenty of stops for swimming and snorkeling in hidden coves. If you prefer setting your own pace try the Self Guided Cycling tour it takes you from mountains to coast staying in these lovely towns like Mojkovac and Cetinje.
When's the Best Time to Go for Outdoor Activities?
Spring around April-May and autumn September-October are perfect for hiking and exploring the national parks. The Montenegro Discovery hiking holiday runs 8 days through Durmitor National Park during these months when the weather's just right. Summer June through August is amazing for swimming and coastal activities but expect it to be busy and pricier. The 8 Days Montenegro Sailing Tour is really popular in summer exploring from Tivat to Herceg Novi. Winter from November to March is great for skiing up north while the coast stays pretty mild just watch for some rain.
Where Are the Hidden Gems for a More Local Experience?
If you want to escape the tourist spots check out Lipa Cave near Cetinje with its underground lakes and streams it's pretty incredible. The village of Njegusi is worth visiting especially for their famous smoked ham and cheese. Lake Skadar the biggest in the Balkans is stunning with mountain views and amazing birdlife you can explore it by boat on the Family Montenegro Multi-Activity Adventure the views are just spectacular.
