Lazio, Marche & Abruzzo Tours & Trips
In Rome, you can turn a corner and suddenly find yourself in front of something famous. One minute you’re near the Trevi Fountain with people tossing coins, the next you’re walking past the Colosseum or the old stones of the Roman Forum. Across the river, the Vatican museums and St. Peter’s fill an afternoon. In between, most of the day is just cafés, side streets, and long walks without much of a plan.

((REVIEW IS FOR VENICE CITY BREAK, WHICH WAS NOT LISTED AS AN OPTION)) I (32 year old solo male traveler from NJ, USA, attorney by trade) had the distinct pleasure of dealing with Veronica from Italy on a Budget when I travelled to Italy this past July/August 2021. She was personable, knowledgeable, above-and-beyond helpful, responsive, and was absolutely instrumental in making my Italian vacation as great as it was. Before my trip, she helped as I had to reshuffle my plans due to my changing personal calendar as well as the effect of Covid on travel, and she patiently answered all of my questions over the phone and via chat in a straightforward manner. I also had various specific requests of how I wanted my trip to be personalized (adding certain activities to the itinerary, adding a day, upgrading my hostel stay), and she was able to complete every one. While in Italy, she kept in contact with me to ensure that I was happy with the trip, and she even provided helpful tips when I independently travelled to other parts of Italy outside of my Italy on a Budget itinerary. She deserves a 12/10. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

If you are looking for a unique, non-touristy experience, check out this tour with Italia Sweet Italia. It exceeded my expectations and I cannot recommend this tour more. Fabrizio, his family and friends are so warm & welcoming. The food, wine and daily activities are informative and fun. This region of Italy is beautiful, and the tour is casual and relaxed. There is a good deal of walking involved but it only adds to the overall experience. I hope to return soon. "Ciao for Now!"
Cultural, Culinary & Olive Harvest Experience in Abruzzo - J

This tour was fantastic! He hosted multiple events for our group ranging from bread making to olive oil tasting. He grew up in the area, knows exactly where to go, and involves family-owned farms to provide a rich range of experiences. The food was outstanding. My wife and I cook a lot at home and learned so much about the traditional ways to prepare so many dishes. There is quite a bit of walking but generally easy. One day had a steeper hike so he offered a second van to take part of the group to do shopping while the rest if us took in the view above a lake in the mountains. I would recommend this tour, and plan to look at thenither tours
