Dear Mr Tang, We’re sorry to learn that you were disappointed in our tour. We do try our best to ensure that guests have an enjoyable time, even if the tour was not the right fit for them. We wish to respond to your comments with the opportunity to explain the tour from our point of view, so that future potential customers can make informed choices about whether our tour is right for them. Fitness/Activity Level – This active, nature based tour is designed for guests with moderate fitness and good mobility, as outlined on our website and through online agents including this platform. As noted in our itineraries, there are walks each day and, while participation is optional, being comfortable with walks ranging from around 20 minutes to 3 hours will help guests make the most of the national parks and attractions included in the tour. For this reason, our Original Style Tours are best suited to travellers who enjoy an active holiday. Meals – Lunches on tour are generally more informal and suited to the day’s travel schedule. We usually suggest purchasing lunch earlier in the day so it can be enjoyed while visiting parks and attractions. Dinner arrangements are flexible and entirely up to each guest. While some travellers appreciate the convenience of dining at their accommodation, you are very welcome to dine out if you prefer. Some locations offer more restaurant choices than others, though it is certainly possible to arrange dinner at a restaurant each evening if that is your preference. Vehicle – Your tour travelled in a Rosa vehicle, which has 24 guest seats. We are not familiar with the Mitsubishi Neo vehicle you mentioned, so we are unable to comment on that specifically. Value – Our Original Tours are designed for budget to mid-range travellers and are often regarded as offering good value for money. That said, we are sorry to hear that the tour did not meet your expectations. We have never presented these tours as a luxury product. We also offer Comfort Tours, which include motel and hotel accommodation and are popular with older active travellers, although they are not positioned as luxury tours either. Ultimately, we never like to disappoint people even if the tour was clearly not the right style for them, and we're sorry that you felt disappointed in us.
