7-Day Galapagos Islands Tour Packages
The Galapagos means Santa Cruz, San Cristóbal, and Isabela Islands spreading across Ecuador's Pacific waters. Check out Sierra Negra Volcano's crater on Isabela Island, and snorkel spots like Concha Perla, where volcanic and marine environments mix. These islands combine active volcanoes, giant tortoise habitats, and underwater ecosystems full of life throughout the archipelago where evolution played out differently.

7 Days in Galapagos Islands, incl. San Cristóbal and Santa Cruz
The 7-day Galapagos adventure encompasses 7 islands, with 4 nights on Le Grande Daphne and 2 hotel nights in Quito. Naturalist guides lead visits to San Cristobal's Interpretation Center, snorkeling at Santa Fe, and Genovesa's seabird colonies.

- Day 1
Quito
Begin in Ecuador's capital city at 9,350 feet elevation. Visit the historic Old Town but pace yourself while adjusting to the altitude. One traveler shared: "Getting some rest on arrival day is essential - the altitude in Quito can really affect you if you push too hard." End your day with dinner in San Marcos neighborhood which specializes in traditional Ecuadorian cuisine.

- Day 2
Quito to San Cristóbal Island
Get ready for an early start at 4 AM for your Galapagos flight. Visit the San Cristóbal Interpretation Center in early afternoon when crowds are lighter. Bring water and sun protection since shade is limited. Your first giant tortoise encounter awaits in the highlands. Pack quick-dry clothes for panga boat transfers where you'll likely get wet.

- Day 3
Santa Fe and South Plaza Islands
Start your morning hiking Santa Fe's opuntia cactus forest. Wear sturdy shoes with good grip on the rocky trails. Go snorkeling in the cove mid-morning for the best visibility to spot sea turtles and rays. Visit South Plaza Island in the afternoon to see land iguanas. One recent visitor noted: "The colors at sunset here are incredible - the red sesuvium ground cover against the green cactus is stunning."

- Day 4
Genovesa Island

Santiago and Santa Cruz Islands

"The intimate encounters with wild tortoises were incredible. We saw over a dozen just leisurely grazing." Explore the lava tubes before settling into your Puerto Ayora hotel.

- Day 3
Academy Bay Exploration
Start with snorkeling at Academy Bay. Water can be cold so rent a wetsuit ($10). You'll likely see sea lions rays and tropical fish. "Getting in the water with sea lions was magical - they're like puppies! Just don't chase them let them come to you." Walk to Tortuga Bay in the afternoon (40 min). Get there by 3 PM to watch marine iguanas sunbathing.

- Day 4
Santa Cruz to San Cristóbal
Spend the morning at Puerto Ayora's fish market and Darwin Research Station. Take the 2.5-hour ferry to San Cristóbal after lunch. What people love about 7-day Galapagos Islands tours
- 7 Days - Galapagos Essential
We had a number of different guides but it was very well organized and everyone was on time. It seemed like the schedule changed several times and there was at times a number of activities in one day. We walked uphill in the morning and then snorkeling and more walking in the afternoon. Would have liked to have had things stretched out a bit more. You can of course opt out of activities. Navigating to the hotels is no problem from anywhere in town. The first hotel was a very nice facility but the street light was at the height of the room and could keep you awake. The staff all spoke English and were very helpful. The second hotel was a bit worn. The staff did not speak English,
- Galapagos Harmony (7 Days)
All parts of our tour were well organized and coordinated. There was always someone waiting for us whenever we arrived somewhere, even when we didn't expect it. Accommodations were good, and guides were excellent.
- Galápagos Express Adventure: Wilderness & Wildlife
Jonathan knows so much about wildlife of the region, and he was good at getting us organised. The activities were cool, and it was balanced with enough free time. Our team was great and loved hanging out with each other. We loved seeing sea turtles and sea lions, and all kinds of things. I was a little disappointed when we went to Kicker's Rock on San Cristobal island as we got stung by jellyfish and didn't see anything else but jellyfish. That day tour had been highly recommended, and was very expensive. We had an awesome boat to ride to and from though. Also I am disappointed that TourRadar did not communicate about my husband's dietary needs for when meals were included or to our tour leader, or help us with booking accommodation as we were getting there a day early, or giving us any help with transportation as we arrived into a different island. We would have liked to be connected with a local to help us not be so stressed about this part of the trip.
