I climbed Kilimanjaro as part of a group of 8 people with Click Expedition a local agent in Tanzania. The most amazing experience I have ever had in my life. I did the Umbwe route (7 days — which passed by super fast!). It was quite easy, some steep areas but nothing unmanageable if you have some experience hiking. Views were really nice. I can’t compare to other routes since I haven’t done any but I enjoyed this longer one. Thank you very much to our wonderful Kilimanjaro guides. They were everything I could have wished from a guide.From the daily health check, I particularly enjoyed all the singing we did on the trail. And special thanks for all their patience with our attempts at learning Swahili!! :) Everyone was super nice, helpful, accommodating, all that. Things were all set up and ready when we got to camp each day (thanks to Emanuel and the rest of the crew!). The food on the trek was plentiful, nourishing, and delicious, Tents/equipment, All equipment provided by Click Expedition, sleeping bags, tents , Matress where of the high quality and clean,the tents was big and comfortable. Also we got a chemical toilet which was good, especially when it was cold outside and you didn’t want to a (not so nice) public toilet far away. (It’s probably easier for men). I’d definitely climb with Click Expedition Again . I had a great experience. Thanks again to my great group, Highly recommend this hike to everyone.
It was a lovely trip with Joseph and the rest of the porters. The weather was nice so the Umbwe route was not as muddy and slippery as it can be. I was the only climber so I could keep my own pace and cut the trip down to 5 days. Joseph was strong and experienced and we enjoyed the trip. The other guys in the team were very nice and service minded. I recommend Almighty Kilimanjaro if you want a safe and pleasant group to climb with.

We had a great trip - the guides/porters were helpful and able to change plans a bit with us on the trail. I highly recommend Intrepid Explorer Tanzania for anyone looking to go up Kilimanjaro. The food was excellent, equipment top notch, and the team supportive every step of the way. I am already planning a return trip in a few years (on a different route) and plan to go with this company again because of the phenomenal experience.
