What people love about Road Trip & Self-Drive Tours in Dalmatia
- Croatia Express, Self-Drive
Great family experience! We actually rented two cars. My Android connected easily to the car and so did my sister's iPhone in the car she drove, so driving directions from our phones made navigating easy. This is a very independent tour, so no expectations on a guide directing you on time schedule or what to see. If you don't take advantage of setting up an optional tour for the cities you visit, do your own homework. Driving through the various landscapes from Zagreb to the coastal cities was an unforgettable and enjoyable experience. Instead of flying over or taking a fast moving train with designated stops, driving gave us a better sense of the country, culture and people. The accommodations that included more than just a continental breakfast were in close driving distance or accessible with public transportation

This self-catered driving route of Croatia and Mostar was beyond our expectations. The route was comprehensive and of course allowed for “side trips” as things caught our eye en route to the next hotel. Flexibility and freedom! The car was great and every hotel had something special to offer. Free breakfasts, pools, lovely staff, helpful locals, beach, historical sties and natural beauty all rolled into one. Would definitely do more self-catered driving tours with Tour Radar.
