Spend time exploring the temples of this UNESCO city, including Wat Xiengthong at the tip of the peninsula. Take a boat trip to Pak Ou Caves to see thousands of Buddha statues. The trip takes about 2 hours up the Mekong River. Visit Kuang Si Falls later in the day when the lighting is best for photos. You can swim in the beautiful turquoise pools below the cascading falls.
