Santiago, Chile
Begin in Chile's capital. Pack layers since mornings can be chilly any time of year. Take a half-day city tour through historic neighborhoods on your second day. Get to Santa Lucia Hill when it opens at 9 AM to avoid crowds and afternoon heat. Head to Mercado Central for lunch around 1 PM when locals pack the seafood stalls.

Ushuaia, Argentina
Take a 4-hour flight to the world's southernmost city. Pack waterproof gear regardless of season. The Beagle Channel catamaran trip to see penguins is a must-do. My wife and I and our friends just returned from a trip to South America. The trip was wonderful, everything was perfectly organized, we had a lot of fun and impressions. All the guides were well prepared, friendly, and answered all our questions and wishes. We enjoyed communicating with them. I especially want to mention JUAN AGUIAR, our guide in Rio De Janeiro. In our opinion, he is one of the best guides we have traveled with. Many thanks to him. As a comment, I would like to note that we were not offered any additional activities on days of leisure (free from excursions}. We found activities ourselves (for example Tango Show in Buenos Aires). Overall, we are very pleased with our trip, thanks to everyone who organized and implemented it. Our rating is 5 points. I would highly recommend Say Hueque for travel services in Argentina based on my travel needs. Patricio was very through in assisting me with my tours and other needed reservations. He was prompt in returning calls and precise in details for my satisfaction. Having a toll free tele # to contact them from USA was super! All of the guides I had for 3 different tours were concerned about satisfaction and never hesitated with answering questions. They kept us informed of additional informational for further understanding of this beautiful culture and its unreal natural surroundings. I would highly recommend Perito Moreno pioneers tour as it is full of so many sights... ranch living, a barbeque that melts in your mouth with scrumptious tastes and other trimmings with Malbec, and topped off with a boat ride to the wall of Perito Moreno glacier. Other recommended tours are. The Iguazu Falls and hiking in El Chalten seeing gorgeous Mt fritz Roy. My hotel choices were excellent and close to city center for walking or free hotel shuttle service if needed. I rate all a 4+
