Paraty & Ilha Grande
Fly to São Paulo and transfer to Paraty (4-5 hours). Next morning, hike the Camino del Oro before taking the ferry to Ilha Grande (1.5 hours). Sit on the right side for the best views.
- Days 12-13
Island Life & Rio
Go beach-hopping on Ilha Grande. Lopes Mendes beach needs a 2-hour forest hike but offers perfect sand. Take an early boat to Mangaratiba then transfer to Rio (3 hours total). Walk around to see the Selaron Steps and Lapa Aqueduct.

My wife and I and our friends just returned from a trip to South America. The trip was wonderful, everything was perfectly organized, we had a lot of fun and impressions. All the guides were well prepared, friendly, and answered all our questions and wishes. We enjoyed communicating with them. I especially want to mention JUAN AGUIAR, our guide in Rio De Janeiro. In our opinion, he is one of the best guides we have traveled with. Many thanks to him. As a comment, I would like to note that we were not offered any additional activities on days of leisure (free from excursions}. We found activities ourselves (for example Tango Show in Buenos Aires). Overall, we are very pleased with our trip, thanks to everyone who organized and implemented it. Our rating is 5 points. Oh my gosh, the overall trip was fabulous! I would totally recommend the whole Argentina/Brazil tour !And Tangol Tours took care of every aspect of it ,before trip and one day before every activity, in the most professional and swift manner! And thank you very much for everything Axel !! Two minor requests that I had and they were both dealt immediately, the one the very next day and the other in 15 minutes!! And always ,but always they were notifying you in advance via whatsapp before an activity was about to take place Icing in the cake was sending me a box of chocolates as a thank you, to my hotel room in Buenos Aires ! Minor Suggestion : Hotel in Iguazu Falls did not have a mini fridge and had 3 taps in the shower!! The issue was slightly inconvenient ,so if there is anything you can do about that, please do so (for comparison the hotels in Buenos Aires/Rio were awesome in every aspect!)
