- The best Colours of Rajasthan, 10 day tour
The best colours of Rajasthan was a great tour taking in so many wonderful sights in the 10 days, well 9 really as the 10th was just driving back to Delhi. Despite some disruption from monsoon rain, we managed to visit most places that we were hoping to see. Payless tours communicated well on the tour radar platform answering all questions within 24hrs. We booked an extra night in Delhi prior to starting the tour which I would recommend to recover after a long flight as day 1 of the tour started at 9am. Our experienced driver Prakash was friendly and helpful and tour guides were generally of a high standard, the Delhi guide was exceptional in his knowledge. We found some of the guides were too pushy in trying to persuade us to undertake activities without warning that extra payment was required. The car was comfortable for the 3 of us and our driver. However ,whenever we met with a guide, they took the front seat leaving 3 adults squashed in the back. Hotels were all adequate, but Inn Tawang in Delhi was quite basic and although we stayed 3 nights, the room was not cleaned or serviced. It was great to stay in some historic buildings and the views from the Udaipur hotel were wonderful. It would have been preferable to stay more centrally in Pushkar as we found it challenging getting back to the hotel in the evening. 2 hotels had swimming pools but due to our packed schedule, sadly we did not have time to use them. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to see so many amazing places in 9 days. Many wonderful memories to cherish.

All the local guides were very knowledgeable about all the places we visited, our driver Manoj was a nice man, hotels and the staff were excellent as we used all 5 star hotels.
