In the beginning, I was a little sceptical about the trip because I thought that I won’t find friends since the other people knew each other. With the days, however I managed to get to know not only t…In the beginning, I was a little sceptical about the trip because I thought that I won’t find friends since the other people knew each other. With the days, however I managed to get to know not only the other travellers but the leader himself. After learning to surf, being afraid from the monkeys and overcoming our fear of swings, we became a true family. I have done many group tours before and they were all special but this was the first one where I managed to establish a strong relationship not only with the team but with the leader. I was happy that I didn’t see only the tourist attractions but also got the chance to “taste” the local life and meet the amazing people of Bali. Adam was really an extraordinary person, creative, inspiring and most importantly caring. I truly admire him and I aspire to enjoy work and life as much as he does. This trip challenged me to see the deeper meaning of everything, find the smallest pieces of happiness and end my gap year in the best way, understanding what I want to do next. #FirstBulgarian

The best part though has to be the snorkelling with turtles and it was structured perfectly with the best coming last so everyday up to the turtles is the best day until the next (excluding the last day obviously but that is only because it follows the turtles and nothing beats that). Would love to do it all again from the start and would highly recommend to anyone and everyone!

Tour was well organised, it was busy and we got to see and do loads, but also had the time to relax and do what we wanted ourselves. Adam was our tour guide and he was incredible. Couldn't have asked for a better guide. He was so outgoing, helpful and informative he really made sure everyone was having the best time possible. If you go on the Bali tour and have Adam as your guide, you are going to have the best Bali experience.

But with tru, this isnt the case. I have met friends for a life time and we had an awsome group!
A huge shout out to our Tour Leader "Adam Blackler" this guy is great! He is a "tru" professional at what he does, at the same time being literally a mate that takes all the responsibility whilst you enjoy yourself. A "tru" credit to the company and i dont think my experience would have been the same without this guy. Nothing is ever too much to ask either.
On nights out we were joined by outher tru leaders and they were all great people and the tour leaders are like family, again you dont see this in other tour companys.
Overall this was a trip of a life time and tru are definitely unique and atand out to other tour companys. I will 100% be back with guys in the near future and would highly recommend anyone who wants to have a fantastic time seeing bali and partying (not always essential).
The ONLY negative is that 10 days wasnt enough and i think i suffered mild depression after the trip.

He was knowledgeable about the activities and areas, as well as being well liked among the locals which meant as a group we felt very welcome everywhere we went. Adam made it clear that we could do as much or as little as we wanted to get the best personal experience from the tour and helped to make sure the whole group felt integrated and like a family. I love the fact everything is included, not like other companys with hidden costs! The accomadation is stunning, the turtle busses are great!
My fav little touch that no tour company i have been with before does, is that your final meal is included.
A huge shout out to our tour leader Adam, he is a tru professional at what he does and a credit to the company. He is literally that friend that takes the responsibility so you can enjoy yourself. He gets involved with every activity and joins in on all the fun.
He is extremely helpful when you need advice or information. Nothings too much.

The entire tour was well organized from the moment I was met at the airport to our final goodbyes. Our tour leaders, Adam and Jonjo, were extremely welcoming, helpful, and easy to talk to. We would receive a message from Adam every day outlining the plans for the day with meeting times and suggestions of places to see or things to do in our free time. There were a couple differences from the itinerary online and what we actually did but Adam was sure to explain the reasoning behind the changes and what the activities were replaced with. Our accommodations were incredible, each one with a private pool which was wonderful in the blistering heat. The tour was packed with excursions yet we had a ton of free time as well. It’s unbelievable how much we managed to cram into 10 days. I’d like to thank Adam and Jonjo for being absolute gems and providing us with a lifetime of memories. I’ve made new friends for life on this trip and would highly recommend it to anyone!

All accommodation in the 3 places we stayed were amazing and top notch and in the best locations. The first night having food on the rooftop bar which had a pool watching the sunset was amazing. It was so nice as i got to meet everyone on the trip in a chilled out relaxed environment instead of a formal meeting having to get up n tell everyone about myself it was more natural n everyone got to know eachother at there own pace. Our tour leader adam was a legend he was so relaxed and really made the trip easy. He was always on hand to give us advice n guidance from activity details to the best places to go around the area n things to do n see. It was like goin away with ur mate who knew all the best places to go n that really made a difference and set the tone for the trip. (I would say that you should have the guide stay in the hotels with each group rather then in a different hotel as it would be easier should anything happen). I cant praise adam enough you definitely have a top notch leader there. Everything was so well organised and all activities were well planned out i didn't feel rushed or on edge as i have done on other tours. We got to spend enough time in each destination, all activities were amazing i loved the cooking class n the surfing the best what an experience. Even though i was the eldest on the tour i didnt feel i was surrounded by kids on a booze cruise the trip was so well organised and thought out each experience left us all amazed and i have so many amazing memories. I literally had the time of my life i loved every second. By far my most enjoyable tour and have seen and done so many amazing things on this trip ;) thank you

All the activities were so fun (especially the cooking class and surfing) and there was a good balance between chill time and fun time. Loved every second and didn't want it to end. BUT of course it wouldn't have been what it was without our amazing tour guide Adam who had great chat (most of the time) and who kept everyone smiling throughout the trip. He never forced anyone to do anything they didn't want to do and made sure that everyone felt comfortable in what they were doing. Nicest bloke and really felt like one of the group rather than just a tour guide. Would highly recommend!!! Best 10 days I've had in a while xxx

The trip was really well organised, from general information and a welcome email a couple of weeks before we left to useful info and tips throughout the trip, so you were free to completely relax and enjoy the amazing experiences.
There were a range of ages and nationalities in our group and the relaxed and friendly attitude of our three guides, Amanda, Adam and Yo, made everyone feel comfortable and helped everyone get to know one another.
The tour itself was a great mix of popular tourist spots as well as lesser known destinations like Khao Sok which we would never have come across ourselves. Overall we were really impressed with Tru Travels and would definitely book another tour in future!

It was always ready when we arrived at the location. And then the accomodations, they where so nice! Always at good locations. So last but not least the tour guides! The first one, Adam. What a nice guy! He was really relaxed but always really clear about the plan. The second one, Amanda. She is so kind! Always up to do fun things or have a little chat. And then the last but not least, Sapayoo. The coolest Thai boy I ever met! He was so funny! I had fun with al the tour guides, the where always in for a good chat and having fun! The next time I travel with a travel organisation it will be Trutravels! That's for sure!

I had such an amazing time in this trip. Was a little worried that my friends and I would be the oldest in the group but it was actually a lovely mix of different ages and nationalities. So we had Adam and Amanda as our tour leaders plus Yo as our Thai guide, who were all brilliant at their jobs. It was a great mix as well, having Adam on his last Thailand tour working with Amanda on her first one. Adam knew all the ins and outs of the trip and was really helpful answering any questions we had but it was great to have Amanda who gave us so much useful information about some of the details of our trip that I really felt well-prepared wherever we went.
It was also lovely having Yo there to tell us so much about Thai culture and explaining details about praying at the temples, which was so interesting.
Overall it was a great group of people well held together by 3 friendly, capable and hilarious leaders which left me with some of the greatest memories ever!
I'd definitely recommend them and am already planning another tour next year with Tru Travels as a result, bring on Bali!

Our guides were fantastic would highly recommend Adam and Minnie they were always there to help and nothing was too much trouble. We got to do so much more Than I would have being on my own in such a short space of time. Being at echo for a while I met some of the other tour guides and they are all lovely and friendly, they are like a little family and I would definitely go on another tour with any of them.

Some of the places we visited were really beautiful and fairly secluded from most tourists which made the travel there worth it. The price is well worth the experience, without a doubt. And, lastly, our tour guides: Adam, Minnie, and Patrick were awesome and really nice people to hang out with. I will definitely miss them.

I have never been travelling before and found the idea of going alone very daunting. I booked this tour to introduce me to the idea of travelling and I'm so glad I did. I may be biased but I think we had the best group ever. Everyone got on so well, despite age differences. Adam and Ingo were so keen to socialise with everyone and never leave anyone feeling left out. They were so much fun and join in with all the antics, you forget that they are actually running everything behind the scenes. It was a shame that the bad weather affected the value for money on this trip because of a lack of alternative options, but I strongly believe this was a fault of the company not having a plan B for poor weather, rather than the fault of Adam or Ingo. I cannot express how much I loved this trip and even though I am still travelling, I miss everyone from the tour so much! I would definitely do another tour with Trutravels again.

When I arrived at Bangkok I was greeted by a very friendly local gentleman ,trutravels had arranged a private hire cab to pick me up from the airport even though I'd arrived a day before the tour was due to start ,
When I met with the guys from the tour group company I was instantly made to feel welcome , the job those guys do is second to none ,organising food ,nights out ,days out ,acomadation , overall to ensure you have all the fun of the experience without any of the hassle .
Adam blackler was the name of my tour Guide and I've got to say hats off to the guy and a massive thank you for ensuring I had the time of my life on my trip , definitely recommend it to anyone

Our guides Adam and Ingo welcomed my friend and I straight away when we arrived at the hotel in Bangkok. They were so accommodating to whatever we needed and couldn't have done more for us. It was really nice to have guides that clearly took their jobs seriously but still treated everyone in a friendly way rather than seeming 'above' you. We were so lucky with the people in our group, I would happily stay in touch with every single one of them. Unfortunately the weather in Thailand was not what we expected and has rained the majority of the time, our over night train was cancelled because of it. Despite this, Adam and Ingo sorted everything out so seamlessly and all of us together made the most out of the situation. The only criticism I have is that because of the weather we were unable to fulfill quite a lot of the itinerary and although some alternatives were offered, I wouldn't say they compared to what we should've been doing. I don't believe this is a fault of the guides at all as they obviously can't control the weather and they did their best to update us with alternative plans. However, I think the company should have more alternatives planned in case of poor weather because it was up to the guides to find things for us to do day by day and I don't feel like I quite got my money's worth. I don't want that critique to take away from the guides hard work as they were amazing and I couldn't fault them! Just an improvement for the company in the future. Thank you tru travels for the great experience, I can't wait for April when I head to Bali for another Tru Travel tour!

However, all fears were quickly laid to rest once…Having not had many traveling opportunities prior to this trip (let alone traveling opportunities out of the country), I was nervous to say the least. However, all fears were quickly laid to rest once introduced to our tour guides. I feel confident in saying that Drew, Adam, and Yo are the dream team of tour guides, who made masterfully navigating 25 different personalities, interests, and requests look like a breeze. From day one, these guys created a safe and friendly environment that had them feeling less like tour guides and more like old friends. They presented what seemed to be a perfected itinerary, which was jam-packed with both well known tourist locations and also hidden gems. Though we were busy most of the time, there always seemed to be opportunities for down-town and for adjusting the itinerary based upon group interests. Every activity encouraged the group to join along, but also respected the possibility that others may want to stay behind or go on their own adventure. Their knowledge of the area and culture was expansive, their demeanor was perpetually friendly and helpful, and their laid-back energy and playful sense of humor was contagious. They were able to successfully bring together a group of 25 different individuals, from all over the globe, and create a sense of community. The (admittedly) corny opening line of "we are a family" seemed to ring true when it was time to leave. Though it may not be the same bond as the family from back home, I will always look back on this trip with a fondness and gratitude for having experienced such a beautiful world, with such beautiful people.

Would do it all over again if i had the chance, cant wait to do other tours with the guys. Thankyou all for the best 18 days.

Drew, Adam and Yo worked tirelessly to accommodate 21 of our needs, and their enthusiasm and knowledge of the places was exceptional. I don't think I've met 3 people who work better together than these guys! You'll be tired by the end of it and feel like death, but I wouldn't have it any other way! The best 3 weeks of my life! 10/10!!!

I enjoyed every second of this trip from beginning to end. Having been travelling for 3 months before hand, I couldn't have asked for a better experience to end my travels on. The whole tour ran like clockwork and that has to be down to our three amazing tour leaders; Drew, Adam and Yo! All three of them worked so hard to ensure everyone in the group felt comfortable and were enjoying themsleves and they certainly made the immense trip what it was. I had an amazing time and would recommend anyone to book with TruTravels and go and explore Thailand. I certainly plan to book another amzing experience with the Tru Fam in the future! My only critique would be that I wish it never ended, made so many incredible memories and was sad to leave. But all good things must come to an end. Drew, Adam and Yo - top draw.

I also met some of the other staff and one member particularly was an awesome person would like to say that Ewan was a beast of a guy and a gentleman as well. The tour was well planned and I felt well drained when I came home to South Africa which in my books counts as a good holiday. Sammy was loving and caring and Adam inspired me so much in fact that I have been bugging them both to help me get a job there with Trutravels. What an amazing time I am eternally greatfull for all the people and staff members whom has made it an unforgettable experience. If you are indeed looking for staff I will work for you in a wink of an eye. Thank you so much Adam for being like my brother from another mother and Thank you Sammy for all the love and good vibes you are all loved beyond word.
