Having a smaller group was fantastic as it meant group decisions were made quickly and we could crack on with the exciting stuff. Wa'el was our tour guide and made the trip memorable, outside of his fantastic knowledge he was extremely friendly and would go out of his way to accomodate any requests. Big thank you to the rest of the staff [Taher, Sam and Alaa] who made sure ice cold water was plentiful and that we arrived on time.

His passion for imparting knowledge to his clients was palpable, along with the excitement he had for sharing about his home, of Luxor and Egypt -- all delivered in a fun, engaging way. I learned so much from him about the history of Egypt and the amazing sights. It was not only educational but magical. Thank you to HIE and to the best tour guide ever, Wael!

The ship is very nice, Has a pool, an indoor and an outdoor bar. Meals are Served as a Buffet, there is Always good for every one.

But the best of the Tour is the Tour Guide WAEL. He knows Everything. Explained the ancient Stories in a very Entertaining way. We loved ihm.
Our friend did not feel very well, Wael organised very fast good medicine.
What you Need to know about this tour, there is not a lot of sleep, behause there is always something to See.
Our tour to Egypt was AMAZING! We enjoyed the itinerary of the 9 day Immortal Egypt tour. The Egyptians were friendly and I felt very safe. We met great people from around the world and saw the top highlights of Egypt. I can not recommend Professor Wael enough. He was with us in Aswan and on the cruise until we left Luxor for the Red Sea. I have had a lot of guides throughout my travels, but he was by far the best. Even others that were good, do not come close to comparison. Tour Radar/Holiday In Egypt are very lucky to have him. His knowledge and love for the Egyptian culture was so deep. He was personable and got to know all of us well. He was able to answer our questions and did so well keeping us informed and making sure everything was organized. He always had our best interest in mind. I was sad to see him go after we left Luxor. Our cruise ship and resort in Hurghada were both very nice. The staff in both places were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious as well. I only have a few suggestions:
Better communication regarding what time tour extensions will take place, flights, and pick up and drop off times.
Would like to be provided with a more detailed itinerary with hotels, excursions, ect. prior to departure. We didn't receive any information regarding accommodations beforehand.
We lost out on $180 for one tour because we canceled. I know it would've been a fantastic tour, but we wanted to just enjoy the resort. We were unaware that the tour would take place from noon until sunset or we would've canceled earlier. I attempted to get this information prior, but by the time I did, it was too late for a refund. Had I had it earlier, I would've made a decision earlier and been able to get a refund.
Other than those small tweaks (always room for improvement), I would HIGHLY recommend traveling with Tour Radar again. In fact, I hope to travel with them again soon.

This is an excellent introduction to some key sites in Egypt. If you don’t have a lot of time, but want to learn about the major sites, this is the tour for you.

Theresa was also fantastic for the Cairo/Giza part of the tour. The things you see are truly amazing. It's a holiday that you'll never forget for all the right reasons

Tour was good as in we did go to most places advertised although we assumed we were going into one of the pyramids No that was extra, as everything is . We did not stay long at alot of places and therefore missed out on market shopping in grand market Esp Luxor . Comunication was good with Mustafa in office always responded to questions we had in a timely fashion. Hotel in Cairo cosmopolitan was awful- they were rude did not even want to acknowledge us no smiles no welcome - thank god we didn’t stay there on way back and stay near airport at Novotel lovely

The first thing to say is that everybody did a great job at trying to give us the best experience, especially the tour guides Wael and Sohaila.
This tour is a great introduction to Egypt and covers all the highlights. The only slight disappointment was the very short time spent in the Egyptian Museum with no free time to explore more of the exhibits.
So, why only 4 stars? The hotels, both in Cairo and Luxor, were sub-standard. This is marketed as a 5 star tour and although the hotels were both 4 star they don't even deserve that rating. The Nile cruise was better quality accommodation and I can’t fault the service as all the staff were brilliant and went out of their way to give us a great experience but I wouldn’t describe it as 5 star.
I would recommend this tour but don’t expect uber luxury. Holiday in Egypt could set this tour apart by putting a bit more focus on the quality of the accommodation.
