Our tour of Egypt was nothing short of extraordinary, and it exceeded every expectation from start to finish. Traveling with a relatively smaller wonderful group of fellow travelers made the experience even more enjoyable, amd what truly elevated the entire journey was our exceptional tour guide, George Basher.
From the very beginning in Giza, standing before the majestic Pyramids and the Sphinx, we were in awe. George brought ancient history to life with his deep knowledge, engaging storytelling, and passion for Egypt’s heritage. Our visit to Saqqara added incredible depth, especially seeing the Step Pyramid and understanding its importance in ancient architecture.
The journey south was equally breathtaking. The temples of Abu Simbel were absolutely awe-inspiring—monumental, powerful, and unforgettable. In Luxor, exploring Karnak Temple, the Valley of the Kings, and the magnificent Hatshepsut Temple felt like stepping back in time. Every site was explained in a clear, fascinating way, and George always made sure we had time to absorb, explore, and ask questions.
After the historical immersion, the 5 relaxing days in Hurghada were the perfect balance—beautiful beaches, crystal-clear waters, and a chance to unwind before continuing the adventure.
Returning to Cairo, we explored more of Egypt’s rich cultural and spiritual heritage, including the stunning Mohammed Ali Mosque, the moving Cave Church, and the historic Hanging Church. Each visit added another layer to our understanding of Egypt’s diverse history.
This tour was flawlessly organized, perfectly paced, and incredibly enriching. George Basher is truly a remarkable guide—professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely passionate about what he does. He made everyone feel welcome and ensured the trip was smooth, educational, unforgettable and at a good pace.
I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to experience the true magic of Egypt. It was a once-in-a-lifetime journey that I and my husband will treasure forever.

Our private tour guide was the best part! I can’t praise George Basher enough!! Not only is he knowledgeable, professional and resourceful but he’s one of those people that makes you feel like you’ve been best friends with them for a long time! He’s personable, sociable, compassionate and he most definitely has jokes! He was very approachable, friendly, and upbeat. The thing which we will always remember is how accommodating he was to myself and my fiancé. We are both disabled and George organised for someone to push me round in a wheelchair and look after us. Without George organising that, I don't think we would have been able to see half of the things. It is a holiday that we will never forget. Thank you, George.

This was a really great trip, I loved my time in Egypt so much. Timeless Tours was really amazing, they took care of you every step of the way. Timeless Tours was really amazing, they took care of you every step of the way. There was someone waiting at the airport, someone at the hotel when you arrived, always someone with a smile to help you with whatever you needed. The service level in Egypt overall is really high, and the trip covered so many things, including a fun river cruise and a stay at a beautiful all-inclusive resort on the Red Sea. I traveled with a great small group of people, and got to see so many amazing things. I would do the same trip over again!

Our tour guide, George, was amazing. Very knowledgeable, polite, tried his best to accommodate our needs and was punctual. He always picked the less crowded times for the visits, and gave us plenty of time to enjoy by ourselves too.His explanation made the incredible sites we visited even more enjoyable.
The tour logistic was great, the bus and the rooms nicer than expected. We definitely recommend timeless for that, as from our own experience after the tour finished, moving on your own in Egypt can be quite a hassle.
Overall, we highly recommend this tour, timeless and George. The only downsides we found were the mandatory partner shops visit (4 in total, not advertised in the tour description, but quite time consuming...) and the food which was average.
